Alaric Faulkner pulled Eleanor Sterling to the car parked not far away, opened the door, and let her get in.
"Why are you here? At this ti, shouldn’t you be at the Faulkner Family, comforting a pregnant Faye Sterling with her unstable mood?"
Alaric Faulkner twitched at the corner of his eye, a hint of displeasure coloring his handso face.
Eleanor Sterling dared to tease him—feeling itchy?
He reached out to encircle Eleanor’s slender waist, pulling her into his arms. "I’d rather comfort Mrs. Faulkner during her pregnancy."
Eleanor Sterling pushed him with her hand. "What are you doing? We need to keep our distance right now. If Faye finds out, how will this scene play out?"
She said with so concern, "Earlier, when you helped in front of those won, they’re definitely going to tell Faye."
"So what?"
Eleanor thought for a mont, realizing it indeed wouldn’t have much impact. Even if Faye knew, she wouldn’t dare to confront Alaric Faulkner.
After all, it’s her crucial period in marrying into the Faulkner Family; how could she stir up trouble? She would definitely hide like a coward.
Thinking further, Eleanor said, "Even so, you should keep your distance from and shouldn’t be seeking out now."
Alaric Faulkner looked at Eleanor, his brows furrowing again. "Are you trying to sever ties with ? My Mrs. Faulkner."
He raised the intonation at the end of his sentence, deliberately reminding Eleanor of their current relationship.
Eleanor Sterling felt she could no longer communicate with him.
He’s taking advantage of Faye wanting to marry him, so she wouldn’t dare to create a scene, and thus, he’s doing as he pleases.
Alaric Faulkner pulled Eleanor closer, lowered his head, and placed a kiss on her cheek, whispering, "Eleanor, asking not to co find you—I can’t help it."
Eleanor Sterling’s cheeks ward, her ears even turning red. She whispered, "Get serious, there are still people here."
Elijah Hayes had eaten plenty of dog food; he could now maintain a straight face and pretend to be air.
Upon hearing this, Alaric Faulkner cast a glance at Elijah Hayes.
Feeling the chill from the back of his head, Elijah imdiately identified himself, "Ma’am, I’m not a person."
"..."
Eleanor Sterling sighed and spoke, "My grandmother just called earlier and probably already knows about us. I need to visit the Jennings Family to see her."
Alaric Faulkner said, "I’ll go too."
Eleanor Sterling was sowhat surprised, "You want to go too?"
Alaric’s eyes darkened, recalling the last incident with Silas Hawthorne at Summit Starlight.
Mrs. Jennings’s affection for Silas Hawthorne was not less than for him, and it was rely by leveraging his son that she reluctantly took notice of him.
Now with this situation, if he didn’t explain clearly, he’d surely be marked out.
Alaric Faulkner gently said, "I’ll personally go and explain to Grandmother. If this issue isn’t clarified, I fear I’ll be booted out."
Eleanor thought about it and found the reasoning valid.
She nodded and said, "Alright, let’s visit the Jennings Family together."
"Before that, we need to stop by the mall. It’s the first visit, and we can’t arrive empty-handed."
Eleanor thought that Alaric Faulkner was quite adept at social etiquette; he bought jewelry last ti that Grandmother seed to like.
"Yes, let’s pick out so gifts together."
They bought so supplents and fine wines at the mall, and once everything was prepared, they headed to the Jennings Family.
Two hours later, they arrived at the Jennings Family.

"I’m here to see Grandmother."
Zella Crawford quickly opened the door, "She’s watching TV, co in quickly."
