Alaric Faulkner pushed open the door to Faye Sterling’s room, startling the Faye Sterling lying in bed.
When she saw Alaric Faulkner, she imdiately got out of bed joyfully.
"Alaric, you’re back."
Alaric Faulkner walked in slowly. He was in casual attire today, but the sharp aura around him hadn’t diminished at all. He seed like a high and mighty sovereign.
Looking at him, Faye Sterling’s heart once again filled with so romantic thoughts, even though she had agreed not to fall for Alaric Faulkner, only aiming for the position of Mrs. Faulkner.
But such an outstanding man, just standing quietly before her, could make any woman fall for him.
She was now about to marry him, how could she not be moved?
Alaric Faulkner’s gaze fell on Faye Sterling’s belly, and he said calmly, "You’re pregnant?"
Upon hearing this, Faye Sterling’s face lit up with sweetness.
Her hand gently caressed her belly, and she said with a shy expression, "Yes, it’s been over a month now. It happened that ti in Lyria."
Upon hearing this, the corners of Alaric Faulkner’s mouth curved into a faint, mocking smile.
Faye Sterling was lying right in front of him, wanting to pin soone else’s child on him and make him wear a cuckold’s cap.
A month?
It was obviously two months!
Alaric Faulkner stood there, his expression revealing an unfathomable coldness, his aura becoming increasingly icy.
He would let Faye Sterling know the consequences of framing and deceiving him.
Alaric Faulkner said, "Since you’re already pregnant, let’s get the marriage certificate first."
Faye Sterling’s eyes widened in shock, seemingly unable to believe the words that had just sounded by her ear.
"Alaric... you... you really an it? You’re really going to get the certificate with ?"
She felt like she’d just won a million dollars, enveloped in imnse joy.
It was what she had dread of.
She originally thought that when Alaric Faulkner returned, he would harshly oppose it, and she would have to fight for it further.
But unexpectedly, when Alaric Faulkner ca back, he didn’t say much and agreed to get the certificate with her.
Even if they didn’t have a wedding, once the marriage certificate was issued, she would still be Mrs. Faulkner.
The corner of Alaric Faulkner’s mouth curled with mockery as he said slowly, "While your belly is not yet noticeable, we should settle it first, or it won’t look good during the wedding."
Faye Sterling didn’t mind at all. She felt that just securing the position of Mrs. Faulkner was satisfying enough.
Her heart overflowed with sweetness, feeling ultimately fortunate.
But Faye Sterling was still a bit worried since things were proceeding too smoothly, making her feel like she was dreaming.
Could there be a problem?
She nervously asked, "What about Eleanor Sterling..."
Alaric Faulkner smiled, "I’ve already had her move out. Tomorrow, the civil affairs office staff will co to our ho to handle the marriage certificate for us. Just relax and wait."
Faye Sterling’s heart burst with fireworks again.
Alaric Faulkner had driven Eleanor Sterling away for her!
He’s going to get the marriage certificate with her tomorrow!

Faye Sterling nodded consecutively, "Alright, I’ll definitely take good care of our child."
After Alaric Faulkner left, Faye Sterling touched her belly, a hint of regret flashing in her eyes.
Too bad this child isn’t Alaric Faulkner’s, or everything would be perfect.
But it didn’t matter. She would beco Mrs. Faulkner first, and in the future, she and Alaric Faulkner could have other children.
