Eleanor Sterling and Alaric Faulkner returned to the hotel room together.
Alaric Faulkner had soone send up a lot of food, everything one could wish for, including so of Lyria’s specialty dishes, filling the whole table.
Slling the aroma, Eleanor Sterling felt her stomach starting to grumble in protest.
Alaric Faulkner considerately opened a al box for her, pushing the soup toward Eleanor Sterling first, "Have so soup to warm your stomach."
Eleanor Sterling took it and sipped it slowly.
As she drank the soup, she secretly observed Alaric Faulkner, her eyes dark and shiny, with countless stars seemingly twinkling in her beautiful gaze.
Alaric Faulkner naturally noticed her gaze, he smiled lightly, "What are you looking at?"
"I think you’re especially handso."
Especially knowing that Alaric Faulkner was her child’s father, Eleanor Sterling could no longer control the admiration in her heart.
Originally, it felt like a beast wanting to break free, but due to many factors, she had to restrain herself over and over. Now, with no other factors, she naturally didn’t suppress it anymore.
Alaric Faulkner felt that Eleanor Sterling had changed.
She had beco particularly sweet-talking, a little clingy, with a bit of shyness like a little woman.
Even though he didn’t know how she suddenly changed, Alaric Faulkner liked this change.
Knowing Eleanor Sterling had a busy and exhausting day, he let her lean in his arms, then personally fed her, so Eleanor Sterling didn’t need to lift a hand, just open her mouth.
Eleanor Sterling didn’t refuse at all, enjoying his enthusiastic service.
Alaric Faulkner fed a slice of at into her mouth, and just as Eleanor Sterling opened her mouth, he unexpectedly lowered his head and playfully snatched it away.
"..."
Eleanor Sterling widened her eyes at him, "What do you an? Why did you steal my food?"
Alaric Faulkner chewed twice, swallowed the at, and then smiled slightly, "The at Eleanor feeds is especially delicious."
Eleanor Sterling patted his wrist, huffing, "Be serious, I’m hungry."
Alaric Faulkner laughed and didn’t tease her any longer, dutifully playing his role as an assistant.
A piece of pan-seared steak was fed into Eleanor Sterling’s mouth. As she took a bite, her mouth filled with delicious flavors.
Eleanor Sterling’s eyes narrowed slightly, feeling quite satisfied.
Alaric Faulkner’s voice sounded at her ear, asking, "Do you rember the first ti you fed sothing?"
Eleanor Sterling thought for a mont and then huffed, "Are you talking about that ti you faked being sick to gain my sympathy and stayed in the hospital?"
Alaric Faulkner raised an eyebrow, "When did I fake being sick?"
Eleanor Sterling gave a humph, "Even if I knew you were faking, I still fell for it. I’ve never seen anyone as thick-skinned as you."
Back then, she always wanted to stay away from him, but now she was deeply in love with this man.
However, he truly was too clever, using her guilt against her, always holding her tightly.
Alaric Faulkner’s lips curved slightly, "How could you win over a girl without so thick skin?"
Just then, Eleanor Sterling’s phone rang. She took it out and glanced at it, discovering it was a call from Therese Ray.
She sat up a little straighter before sliding to answer.
"Hello, is this Eleanor?"
Therese Ray’s voice sounded particularly urgent, as if there was sothing pressing to say.
"Yes, it’s , Therese. Is sothing wrong?" Eleanor’s brows furrowed slightly with concern.
She was thinking, could sothing have happened with Yvette Ray? Otherwise, why would Therese look for her?
"Eleanor, are you in Lyria?"
Eleanor Sterling responded, "Yes, I am in Lyria. Is there sothing wrong?"
"That’s great! Yvette went to Lyria. She’s going to find that man, hurry and stop her!"
