Dylan Lawson arrived at the villa within fifteen minutes.
Alaric Faulkner shot him a displeased glance, the aning in his eyes obvious—he was late.
"What’s up? Did you call over in such a hurry because sothing was seriously urgent?"
The door was ajar, and Alaric pointed inside, saying, "Go take a look at her."
Dylan peered through the gap and took a look inside, wearing a half-smile, he said, "No way? Did you finally break your fast? And you left her unable to get out of bed?
Who’s the woman? Don’t tell it’s Faye Sterling? Tsk, your taste is quite unique."
Alaric frowned, seemingly annoyed with Dylan’s prattle. "Less nonsense."
Being close friends, Dylan naturally brushed off his attitude, raising an eyebrow with a smile, "I’m curious to see which woman has piqued your interest."
Outsiders didn’t know, but as brothers, they did. In recent years, Alaric Faulkner was like a monk.
He clearly had Faye Sterling by his side but showed no interest in her at all. Who knows, maybe she ruined him seven years ago, turning him into a eunuch.
Now, it’s good that he’s willing to change, even if that woman is Faye Sterling.
Dylan pushed open the door and imdiately saw Eleanor Sterling lying on the bed.
His face showed a mont of surprise, what’s going on? Why isn’t it Faye Sterling?
Dylan quickly recovered, wearing a mischievous grin, he asked, "Alaric, have you changed your woman now?"
This guy who has stayed away from won for so long, he thought Faye was the only one around him.
Eleanor had already heard Dylan’s voice, feeling a bit embarrassed as she listened to him assu she was Alaric’s woman.
Dylan pulled up a chair and sat by the bed, greeting with a smile, "Hello, sister-in-law, I’m Dylan Lawson."
Eleanor forced a faint smile.
Dylan laughed again, "Alaric hasn’t been with a woman for years, he might not know his strength, bear with him a bit."
Alaric’s gaze suddenly turned cold, freezing out a sentence, "Keep babbling and I’ll throw you out."
Eleanor was stunned, looking at Alaric in surprise.
He hasn’t been with a woman all these years?
She could believe that Alaric wouldn’t fancy Faye Sterling, and Faye probably used so trick to have his child.
So, Alaric really hasn’t touched Faye Sterling all these years?
No wonder he always seems like a hungry wolf when he sees her.
Dylan rubbed his nose, realizing he’d peeled off his brother’s face with his words, he quickly cleared his throat and changed the topic.
"Sister-in-law, are you feeling unwell anywhere?"
Eleanor spoke, "I was affected by an unknown drug, and now I have no strength in my body."
Dylan was taken aback, turning to Alaric with a look of reproach, "I say, Alaric, it’s bad to force a girl, it’s really shaless of you..."
Alaric’s gaze was so murderous it stopped Dylan’s words in his mouth.
Eleanor was a bit amused and exasperated, she didn’t expect Alaric to have such an amusing family doctor.
Seeing Alaric’s darkened complexion, she kindly explained for him, "Dr. Lawson, you misunderstood. I was hard by a villain, and President Faulkner helped ."
Dylan laughed awkwardly, "I see."
Soon, Dylan began treating Eleanor.
Although Eleanor was skilled in dicine, a healer cannot heal themselves.
With her whole body weak, she couldn’t solve the problem herself, she needed Dylan’s help.
Dylan gave her an IV, and her symptoms of weakness gradually subsided.
After all this commotion, the night had fallen.
At that mont, Eleanor rembered that her son was still at ho. She looked at Alaric and asked, "President Faulkner, could you help get my phone? I need to call my son."
Alaric’s gaze darkened, "I already told him you wouldn’t be ho tonight and had soone send him so food."
With Estelle being so clever, he trusted that he wouldn’t have any issues alone at ho.
Eleanor: "..."
When did she say she wouldn’t go back?
Seeing the two remaining bags of unfinished IV fluids hanging above her head, the thought crossed Eleanor’s mind.
Is all of this necessary? Could Dylan be doing this on purpose?
If she didn’t know dicine, she might really not have noticed this.
