Eleanor Sterling looked a bit embarrassed.

"Hurry up and say it!" Mrs. Faulkner urged.

"Grandma." Reluctantly, Eleanor Sterling softly called out.

"Ah! Good, good." Mrs. Faulkner bead, very satisfied with Eleanor calling her grandma.

She pushed a bottle of dicine in front of Eleanor and said, "This is a drug developed in the Faulkner Family’s laboratory. Take it to the dical conference and present it under your na!"

Looking at the expectant gaze of Mrs. Faulkner, Eleanor felt sowhat overwheld.

"Mrs. F... Grandma, isn’t this a bit inappropriate?"

Although the laboratory worked for the Faulkner Family, the drug would still be published under the pharmacist’s personal na.

Now Mrs. Faulkner was directly handing the honor to her, and Eleanor was not keen on accepting it.

"Why not? I told you to take it, so you will. Besides, I’ve already registered you; you must go!"

Mrs. Faulkner’s attitude was firm.

Eleanor sighed and had no choice but to accept, "Alright."

"That’s a good child."

Mrs. Faulkner’s expression changed swiftly as she smiled again.

Although her first impression of Eleanor wasn’t great, she was beginning to like her more and more now—much more than Faye Sterling or Giselle Keating.

"Prepare well, and make sure to outshine Giselle Keating for . Don’t let that bad woman tarnish my grandson!"

Hearing Mrs. Faulkner’s words, Eleanor couldn’t help but laugh, finding Mrs. Faulkner adorable.

Eleanor couldn’t help but say, "Hmm, I’ll do my best."

A servant ca to remind them that dinner was ready.

The two left the study room.

In the dining room, everyone was already seated at the table, and today, the family was complete.

Alaric Faulkner ca over and graciously pulled out a chair for Eleanor to sit.

Eleanor naturally sat down, and their rapport was perfect, like an old married couple who had lived together for years.

Faye Sterling looked at them with a resentful gaze.

Now living in the Faulkner Family, she felt like a re outsider. She, the mother of Alaric Faulkner’s son, couldn’t share a room with Alaric.

Instead, it was Eleanor, this outsider, sharing a room with Alaric, while the servants secretly mocked her many tis.

Unfortunately, Eleanor was difficult to deal with, so she could only wait for Giselle Keating and Eleanor to fight each other fiercely.

Ha, does Eleanor have the ability to deal with the eldest daughter of the Keating Family? She has the entire Keating Family behind her!

Now she no longer hoped for Alaric’s affection, but she always coveted the status of Mrs. Faulkner.

Instead of waiting for Alaric to co around, it was wiser to gain more benefits, ensuring so security in the future.

After all, she would forever hold the status of Alaric’s son’s biological mother; the bond of blood could not be severed, which was enough for her to accomplish many things.

At this mont, the servant brought the dishes to the table.

A plate of braised fish was placed in front of Faye. As she slled the fish’s aroma, her face suddenly turned pale, and waves of nausea rose in her stomach.

Faye forced it down, took out her phone, and said to herself, "I’ll go take a call."

After speaking, Faye quickly ran to the bathroom. Once inside, she locked the door and leaned over the toilet, heaving violently.

After a while, Faye regained her composure.

She collapsed on the floor, her mind buzzing.

What’s going on? Why did she suddenly feel nauseous and want to vomit?

Want to vomit...

Suddenly, she thought of sothing, her face turning ghostly pale, unbearably dreadful.

Could she be pregnant?
