Eleanor Sterling leaned against the balcony railing, her eyes darker than the night, silent for a while, then let out a long sigh.

The night breeze gently blew, lifting her strands of hair, concealing the emotions beneath her eyes.

Eleanor whispered, "I haven’t decided yet."

She understood the issues between herself and Alaric Faulkner. If she chose Alaric, it would an walking a path strewn with thorns ahead of them.

This wasn’t a decision that could be made on impulse alone. It involved many people and things, and the consequences could be beyond what she could bear.

She had to be cautious, not make a rash decision.

If she truly decided to be with Alaric regardless of everything, she would be prepared for everything.

If she resolutely chose to forget him, then this ti would count as a beautiful mory, at least they had been together briefly.

She could savor the sweetness of the past for the rest of her life in her mories.

"Hmm? You’ve been to bed, and you tell you haven’t decided?" Clara Thornton teased with a playful smile, interrupting the lancholic mood she had slipped into.

"..."

It was an accident! The ss after the last drunken night, she didn’t rember at all.

Thinking about it now still made her a bit annoyed.

"Alright, alright, won are sentintal, just rember to invite to the wedding when the ti cos. I’m off to finish the final work on the dicine."

Clara hung up the phone after saying that.

Eleanor took a deep breath, feeling the lingering rhythm of her earlier nervous heartbeat hadn’t stopped yet.

She returned indoors and Alaric imdiately noticed her complex expression, seeming both excited and conflicted.

He curiously asked, "What did Clara say to you?"

"The special dicine she researched succeeded. I’ll be representing her at the dical conference." ntioning this, Eleanor’s expression brightened again.

They had been waiting for many years, the hardships unrelatable to outsiders.

Alaric raised an eyebrow, having correctly guessed.

Now Clara was indeed working on behalf of Eleanor. He hadn’t expected Eleanor to have such charm to make Clara so willing to be under her na.

"Congratulations," Alaric spoke sincerely.

Eleanor felt her excitent still wouldn’t subside. She needed to find soone else to share her joy.

"You sleep first, I’ll go find Estelle."

The special dicine this ti was specifically researched for Moira Ray, and Estelle Sterling was extrely concerned about her condition, continuously providing financial aid.

This good news, Eleanor had to share with Estelle Sterling.

In the Faulkner Family children’s room, Estelle Sterling and Caleb Faulkner were already lying down.

The two little ones have a close relationship now, staying in the sa room, almost inseparable.

Precisely because of this, their relationship has grown more intimate. Now, with just a glance from Caleb, Estelle knows what he wants to do.

So Caleb felt not speaking wasn’t too uncomfortable.

The door opened and Eleanor walked in.

She said while walking, "Estelle, I have trendously good news to tell you."

Estelle sat up, blinking as she looked at Eleanor. "What good news? Is Caleb’s antidote ready?"

Caleb on the bed next to him wasn’t asleep either. Upon hearing the commotion, he quickly got up too.

Caleb looked at Eleanor with excitent, his little face filled with anticipation.

Seeing their eyes full of expectations, Eleanor smiled wryly, "It’s not about Caleb."

Estelle’s face dropped; if it wasn’t about that, then what good news could there be?

Caleb’s shoulders drooped too, his whole deanor deflated.

Ah... when would his problem be cured?
