After seeing off Giselle Keating, Old Master Faulkner indeed took Lady Faulkner by the hand, and the two of them went into the study to talk.
"Old man, why did you bring in here?"
Old Master Faulkner pondered for a mont and asked, "What do you think of Giselle Keating?"
Upon hearing this, Lady Faulkner imdiately frowned, her expression displeased, "What do you an by this? Do you want her to be Alaric’s wife?"
Old Master Faulkner smiled and nodded, "She has a good family background and is very beautiful.
She seems dignified and gentle, just a perfect match for Alaric, and most importantly, she likes Alaric."
Lady Faulkner snorted discontentedly, "You always want to find so noble lady; what’s so great about her? I think she’s not as good as Eleanor!"
"You... ah! How are you so captivated by Eleanor Sterling?
You think Faye Sterling isn’t good, so how could Eleanor be any better? I just want Alaric to have a less difficult future."
"I think you’re just being silly!"
Lady Faulkner turned away with a cold snort, not wanting to pay him any attention.
"Ah, how do you know Alaric doesn’t like Giselle Keating? What if he thinks Giselle is better?" Old Master Faulkner said.
Lady Faulkner pursed her lips, "No way, Alaric is a devoted man. Once he’s interested, he doesn’t change easily."
She knew her grandson well, speaking with full confidence.
Alaric Faulkner just likes Eleanor Sterling.
Old Master Faulkner snorted coldly, "No, I won’t allow Alaric to marry a woman with no family background; he must marry a noble lady worthy of the Faulkner na!"
"You..." Lady Faulkner didn’t expect Old Master Faulkner to be so stubborn this ti.
"Alright, stop talking about it. This is how it will be decided; I’ll ask Alaric’s opinion when he gets back."
Old Master Faulkner left with a wave of his hand.
Seeing him so determined, Lady Faulkner could only let out a long sigh.
Although Old Master Faulkner usually listened to her, when he beca really stubborn, even she couldn’t persuade him.
As Lady Faulkner was worrying, two little heads peeked in.
"Great-grandmother."
Lady Faulkner turned her head to look and asked, "Estelle, Ed, why are you here? Is sothing the matter?"
"Great-grandmother, we heard everything."
The two walked in dejectedly, and Lady Faulkner was taken aback, realizing the two children had overheard her conversation with Old Master Faulkner.
"Estelle, Ed, don’t worry. Eleanor is a very good girl; Alaric certainly won’t like that woman."
Estelle Sterling sighed and said softly, "But she cos in full force; we can’t let our guard down."
Upon hearing this, Lady Faulkner lowered her eyes.
Suddenly, as if thinking of sothing, her eyes lit up, "I got it!"
The two little ones imdiately looked towards her.
"Giselle Keating is a Pharmacist, and there is a pharmaceutical exchange conference with the International dical Alliance in a week.
If at that ti Eleanor can introduce a new drug, she’ll gain international fa."
Estelle Sterling’s eyes twinkled as he contemplated, his small face showing hesitation as though wanting to say sothing. Instead, he just sighed heavily and remained silent.
"Good! That’s the plan! I’ll contact soone to give Eleanor the researched drug, and it will be released under her na."
The Faulkner Family is also involved in the pharmaceutical industry and has its own research team.
They have been researching a new drug that has miraculous effects on rare blood types.
With an idea in mind, Lady Faulkner stood up happily to make a phone call.
