Audrey Zane was overjoyed and quickly asked, "Zion Sheffield, is what you’re saying true? Is Brian Zane really going to back Eleanor Sterling?"

That’s great! If so, then Eleanor Sterling won’t have to face punishnt or expulsion.

Who would have thought Brian Zane would do sothing like that? It’s really unexpected.

Zion Sheffield nodded lightly upon hearing this.

He had just finished a surgery when he received a call from Brian Zane, asking him to imdiately return to the dical school on his behalf to help soone.

From the mont Zion Sheffield appeared, Eleanor Sterling had been a bit puzzled, and now hearing Zion Sheffield’s words made her heart skip a beat.

What! Brian Zane is backing her?

But she hasn’t even started to call Brian Zane to plead her case yet.

Who sought out Brian Zane? Could it be Alaric Faulkner or Silas Hawthorne?

She didn’t know if they had ntioned her na and identity.

Eleanor Sterling looked worried and felt extrely guilty.

But even if they had, she could still cover it up. Previously, when Estelle Sterling and Caleb Faulkner t with trouble, Caleb Faulkner still couldn’t speak.

She could say she was in the dical school’s herbal dicine room developing a special dicine to treat Caleb Faulkner.

With this thought, Eleanor Sterling felt a bit at ease.

Upon hearing Zion Sheffield’s words, Giselle Keating looked at Eleanor Sterling in astonishnt, seemingly extrely shocked.

After a while, she shouted, "Impossible! How could Professor Brian Zane possibly help Eleanor Sterling? Eleanor Sterling doesn’t even know him!"

In Giselle Keating’s mind, Eleanor Sterling was just an ordinary person with no connections and surely couldn’t know Brian Zane.

Her gaze swept over Zion Sheffield, as if she had so guesses.

Giselle Keating sneered, "I don’t believe it, unless Professor Brian Zane cos out and tells his decision in person."

She just couldn’t believe this wouldn’t expose Eleanor Sterling. Today, she was determined to make Eleanor Sterling drop out!

Giselle Keating stubbornly held her ground, suspecting there must be an undisclosed relationship between Eleanor Sterling and Zion Sheffield, and that Zion was here to deliver false news.

Zion Sheffield was a bit troubled; it was because Brian Zane couldn’t be there that he had asked Zion to step in.

He thought for a mont and said, "The professor is busy today. How about we give him a call? He can say it over the phone just the sa."

Giselle Keating snorted, "Then make the call!"

Zion Sheffield took out his phone and dialed Brian Zane’s number right in front of everyone. It took a while before the call was answered.

Brian Zane’s stern and steady voice ca through the phone, "Zion, is the matter resolved?"

The voice made everyone pause for a mont.

It really was Brian Zane’s voice!

Could what Zion Sheffield said be true?

Zion Sheffield looked a bit helpless and said, "Professor, they don’t believe your decision, so they want to confirm it with you over the phone."

Brian Zane seed sowhat displeased and grunted, "Even though I don’t co to the dical school often, I’m still considered a professor here. Are my words not taken seriously?"

The other professors in the eting room dared not make a sound.

Brian Zane held a high status; of course, they couldn’t ignore him.

Zion Sheffield saw the shocked expressions on everyone’s faces and felt the matter should be resolved, so he said, "Professor, I’ll hang up now then."

Brian Zane responded, "Hmm, make sure that student isn’t expelled. She’s soone I’m backing."

Perhaps fearing Zion Sheffield wouldn’t handle it properly, Brian Zane reiterated this point before hanging up the phone.

After the call ended, the eting room was silent.

It took Giselle Keating a while to recover. She couldn’t believe it. Why would Brian Zane help Eleanor Sterling?

What kind of thod did Eleanor Sterling have? How could she be worth Brian Zane stepping in to help?
