Outside the restaurant, Sister Qin supported Mrs. Jennings and said, "Madam, Master Silas is over there."

Mrs. Jennings looked sharply from a distance and indeed saw the elegant and noble man sitting alone.

She smiled with satisfaction.

"The Hawthorne boy is really good, more composed and outstanding than his father. Eleanor is bound to be moved."

Sister Qin replied respectfully, "Madam, shall we go over and say hello?"

Mrs. Jennings walked with Sister Qin towards Silas Hawthorne’s table.

Seeing Mrs. Jennings coming over, Silas Hawthorne imdiately stood up to pull out a chair for her, "Mrs. Jennings, hello."

Mrs. Jennings was even more pleased by Silas Hawthorne’s gentlemanly behavior.

Good family background, poised behavior, and remarkably handso appearance—such a fine young man is suitable for her granddaughter.

Silas Hawthorne actually agreed to co today because his father ntioned his fiancée.

Now the Jennings family had approached him, likely wanting to match him with a woman.

Thus, he ca with the intention to refuse.

Silas Hawthorne smiled lightly and directly asked, "Mrs. Jennings, are you here for your granddaughter?"

Mrs. Jennings was surprised that Silas Hawthorne brought up Eleanor Sterling, and she asked excitedly, "You know my granddaughter?"

"I don’t know her, but I’ve heard from my father."

Mrs. Jennings laughed, "It’s no problem, even if you don’t know her, you’ll et her soon."

Silas Hawthorne was shocked; had Mrs. Jennings brought the Jennings family’s granddaughter today?

"Let’s go; I’ve booked a private room. Don’t sit here. Let’s discuss it inside," said Mrs. Jennings as she stood up and headed toward the private room.

Silas Hawthorne snapped back from his shock; he hadn’t had the chance to speak as Mrs. Jennings had already walked ahead.

In the end, he could only follow reluctantly.

He would explain everything clearly to the young lady later.

Eleanor Sterling was still waiting for Mrs. Jennings to return from the restroom, but unexpectedly, she ca back with a man, and Eleanor realized she knew him!

What was Silas Hawthorne doing here!

Mrs. Jennings chuckled and said, "Eleanor, what a coincidence! Grandma just ran into Master Silas outside, and I invited him to join us for dinner. You don’t mind, do you?"

"..."

Eleanor Sterling’s cheek twitched.

Even you don’t believe in this coincidence, right?

"Grandma, I..."

Silas Hawthorne was shocked, looking incredulously at Eleanor Sterling.

Hearing Mrs. Jennings call her Eleanor, he imdiately associated it with Eleanor Sterling.

He hadn’t expected the Jennings family’s niece to be Eleanor Sterling!

And her face...

A hint of astonishnt appeared in Silas Hawthorne’s eyes.

The redness and swelling on her face had disappeared, and now her little face was radiant, causing his heart to skip a beat for a few seconds.

Suddenly, he recalled Dylan Lawson’s description of her as: a peerless beauty.

Eleanor Sterling truly deserved those four words, and only such words could describe her.

Their shocked expressions fell into Mrs. Jennings’s eyes as mutual admiration; she was extrely satisfied and smiled.

"Alright, Master Silas, don’t just stand there. Eleanor doesn’t mind; have a seat. Co, sit next to Eleanor."

Sister Qin, with a keen eye, pulled out the chair next to Eleanor Sterling for him.

Silas Hawthorne regained his composure and gracefully sat down beside Eleanor Sterling.

"Quite the coincidence," he said softly.

"It is quite a coincidence," Eleanor Sterling responded with an awkward smile.

Silas Hawthorne watched her smile, montarily distracted.

He was sowhat surprised; he hadn’t expected Eleanor Sterling to move his emotions with her every gesture now.

Eleanor Sterling felt utterly powerless at the mont; she could already imagine the impending awkward situation.

Just as Eleanor Sterling was contemplating whether to leave quickly, the private room door opened once more.
