The Faulkner Residence, Faye Sterling was in a furious rage, talking to Rosalie Ray on the phone.
"Mom, Alaric didn’t co back all night last night. He must be mad at ."
"How could that be? You’re Caleb Faulkner’s mother. Even if he is angry, he wouldn’t throw you out. Didn’t he resolve that matter for you because of Caleb last night?"
Hearing these words, Faye Sterling’s mood improved slightly.

"Mom, I’m not willing to let this go. I should’ve killed her long ago when she was having a child."
Rosalie Ray comforted Faye Sterling, "Don’t rush, let’s plan carefully. Aren’t you worried we won’t be able to kill her? Didn’t that little bitch start a jewelry company?"
"Yes, I checked later. She did start a jewelry company, probably with money Grandpa gave her. Damn! Grandpa actually gave that bitch money; no wonder she has such a big sum to buy dicine King Vine."
Thinking back on how she was ridiculed by everyone in Veridia City because of the fake goods incident, Faye Sterling felt she was almost exploding with anger.
"Faye, let’s plan this carefully. Right now, the most important thing is to win Alaric back."
Faye Sterling nodded repeatedly upon hearing this, "You’re right, right now Alaric is the priority. Mom, I’ll talk to you later; let call him and see if he went to work."
After hanging up, Faye Sterling imdiately called her informant at The Faulkner Group. Finding out that Alaric Faulkner had gone to work first thing in the morning, she breathed a sigh of relief.
After so thought, Faye Sterling asked the servant to go to the kitchen and make a pot of soup.
Once it was ready, she packed it up and took it to Alaric Faulkner’s company.
The Faulkner Group is situated in the center of Veridia City, the whole building belonging to the company, resplendent and splendid, looking very grand.
Seeing the illustrious Faulkner Tower, Faye Sterling’s face showed a slight hint of pride.
The man on the top floor was hers, and everyone knew that she was the prospective Mrs. Faulkner in Veridia City.

Faye Sterling, led by assistant Elijah Hayes, entered the office.

Her coquettish voice sounded, tinged with a tone of appeasent.
Alaric Faulkner wrinkled his brow, and shot a sharp gaze at Faye Sterling, which even caused Elijah Hayes to shrink back.
"In the future, announce strangers."
The word "strangers" successfully made Faye Sterling’s face whiten.
Her eyes instantly turned red, standing there looking pitifully at Alaric Faulkner, she sobbed, "Alaric, are you mad at ? You know I’m innocent."
Alaric Faulkner looked at her expressionlessly, having no trace of pity for Faye Sterling’s tears.
Elijah Hayes observed the bizarre atmosphere between them and dared not stay any longer. He promptly said, "President Faulkner, I’ll head down first."
After yesterday’s incident, with Alaric Faulkner being angry at Faye Sterling, it was best for him not to be a target here.
"Alaric, I specially made so nourishing soup for you."
Faye Sterling carried the food box and approached, wanting to place it on Alaric Faulkner’s desk.
Alaric Faulkner sneered, "After you plotted against yesterday, do you think I would still drink anything you handled?"
