Alaric Faulkner allowed her to ss around with his face, his long arm encircling her waist.

Watching his triumphant smile, Eleanor Sterling couldn’t help but roll her eyes.

Being together or not now, what’s the difference?
Maybe this was her way of deceiving herself, thinking that by doing this, she wouldn’t trample on moral boundaries, stealing so monts with him.
