As the words fell, everyone was shocked.
What? The dical school purchased fake dicine? How is that possible!
Aaron Underwood’s face darkened and he said angrily, "Eleanor Sterling! You’re talking nonsense. How could we possibly purchase fake dicine?"
"Why not?" Eleanor Sterling glared at him.
Aaron was responsible for the herbal dicine warehouse at the dical school, so if there were fake dicines, wouldn’t that imply he had a problem?
His face turned ugly, and he gritted his teeth, "Eleanor Sterling, don’t speak carelessly about things without evidence, or I’ll sue you for defamation!
Are you saying this just to get back at ?"
Eleanor Sterling scoffed, "I just won earlier, why would I want to get back at you?"
"You!" Aaron was choked speechless.
After a while, he spoke, "Since you have no evidence, this counts as slander."
The surrounding students began whispering to each other.
"No way? Did our school really purchase fake dicine?"
"The warehouse has always been managed by Aaron, and nobody knows if it’s fake or not."
"I think it’s not impossible."
"Seems that way, Aaron’s family sells herbal dicine, and it’s easy for him to do sothing like this."
...
Stella Hawthorne also took the opportunity to say, "That’s right, why is it impossible to bring in fake goods? It’s because nobody manages the herbal warehouse that we have fake goods!"
Audrey Zane said solemnly, "Whether it’s fake or not, let Roman Morgan co and inspect, he has so knowledge of traditional dicine."
Eleanor Sterling nodded and said, "Professor Zane is right. Since everyone is suspicious, we might as well invite Professor Roman Morgan over to be a witness and see who’s really at fault."
People around imdiately nodded in agreent.
Aaron gritted his teeth but didn’t refuse.
Roman Morgan was his teacher, and there’s no way he’d side with Eleanor Sterling.
He snorted coldly, "Fine! Since you’re so insistent, let the teacher co and be the witness!"
Roman Morgan was the most experienced among all the professors, and besides Principal Brian Zane, his words carried the most weight.
Faye Sterling’s close friends glanced at Eleanor Sterling and whispered.
"No way? Did Senior Aaron really purchase fake goods?"
"How is that possible, he wouldn’t do such a thing. I think that woman Eleanor Sterling wants to defa him."
"Ha, she must have gotten carried away because she coincidentally won just now."
"I think so too. Probably trying to fra Senior Aaron to prove her own prowess and get attention."
"Let’s watch and see what trick she’s trying to pull."
...
Soon, Roman Morgan was invited over.
When he heard about the possibility of fake traditional dicine in the warehouse, he took it very seriously.
Roman Morgan ca with a stern face and asked, "What’s going on? Did the warehouse really purchase fake traditional dicine?"
"Yes." Eleanor Sterling nodded, then walked to a cabinet, opened it, and showed it to everyone.
She raised her head with cold eyes and said slowly, "These are poria cocos pieces in this drawer, and they’re all fake!"
Everyone looked over, but they didn’t know about traditional dicine and could only look at Roman Morgan.
Roman Morgan knew a bit, picked up so and examined them, and said in a serious tone, "Are they all fake?"
Eleanor Sterling nodded, "That’s right."
Aaron humd angrily, "Eleanor Sterling, just because you say they’re fake, does that an they are?"
He was convinced Eleanor Sterling was saring him, looking very displeased.
Eleanor Sterling didn’t argue with him and directly took out a bottle of iodine. She used a dropper to drop so onto the poria cocos.
As soon as the iodine was absorbed, it turned into a deep blue, almost black color.
Everyone widened their eyes, watching intently.
Eleanor Sterling said expressionlessly, "Iodine turns blue when it encounters starch; surely everyone learned this in chemistry, right?"
As the words fell, the people around were shocked.
It indeed turned blue just now; could it be that the poria cocos were really fake?
