"Wha-wha-what... what kind of test?"
Estelle Sterling couldn’t even finish her sentence, stuttering all the way through.
Eleanor Sterling frowned and scolded, "Speak properly!"
Estelle instantly straightened up and asked very formally, "What kind of test did he send you?"
"It’s not a test, it’s so dical reports from patients. I might need to go on a business trip for surgery soon, which will keep busy. Perhaps I’ll have to trouble Micah Moss to look after you again."
Thinking about leaving Estelle behind again, she felt sowhat guilty and showed it on her face.
Estelle relaxed completely.
My goodness, that scared him to death!
He thought Liam Keene had sold him out.
"Hehehe, no worries, no worries. I can take care of myself, you don’t have to worry." Estelle gave a silly smile.
Eleanor didn’t notice anything strange about Estelle.
She said, "During this ti, you can try getting along with Micah Moss again. If you like him, let him be your dad."
"Oh, I got it."
Estelle let go of the tension in his heart, not staying any longer before sneaking back to his bedroom.
He still needed to tell Caleb Faulkner about the test results; he’s been waiting.
...
Faulkner Family’s old residence.
Caleb Faulkner was doing howork when he got a call from Estelle Sterling, knowing it was about the test results.
So, he quietly took his phone and hid in the bathroom.
"Estelle, what are the results?"
Caleb’s heart was racing with nerves.
Who is his and Estelle’s father anyway?
Estelle whispered, "The test results show we’re both Jasper Faulkner’s sons!"
Caleb’s face changed, and he exclaid, "What the hell!", scared that what he feared had co true.
Estelle continued, "I’ll send you the results; you can see for yourself."
After the call, Caleb indeed saw the test results Estelle sent.
He took several deep breaths, opened the ssage, and upon seeing the blood test indicating a 99.9999% match with Jasper Faulkner, he looked utterly shocked.
He sat in silence for quite a while before reluctantly accepting this shocking fact.
A father turning into an uncle—is there anything more outrageous or bizarre?
Though he had anticipated this possibility.
Now that the result was in front of him, he really had a headache.
How should he face his uncle from now on?
After convincing himself, Caleb reached out to Estelle Sterling again, asking, "So, what do we do now? Do we reveal it directly?"
Estelle paused for a mont, "No way, don’t reveal it yet. Sister Eleanor seems to really want to marry Micah Moss. If we reveal it now, what will she do?"
"Alright, if you say keep it secret, I’ll keep it secret. I’ll bury this secret deep in my heart."
Caleb asked, "What do we do now then? Are we really going to treat Micah Moss as our father?"
Estelle snorted, "Absolutely not..."
Caleb suggested, "How about this, let’s pretend we don’t know anything about this.
Then Alaric Faulkner would still be my dad, and we’ll try to match Eleanor up with him. Wouldn’t that make everyone happy?"
Estelle said, "What the hell, your... suggestion is really twisted."
He paused, then said, "But it seems doable. Let’s try it first. I think Sister Eleanor only pretends to resist Hades outwardly, she might have so feelings for him."
"Alright, let’s do that."
The call ended between the two.
Estelle felt awkward beyond words and for so reason had a good feeling towards Alaric Faulkner.
Even though he knew Alaric wasn’t his father, he still wanted to help pair him with Eleanor.
Ah, whatever, anyway, the paternity matter is only known to the heavens, the earth, himself, and Caleb Faulkner—no third person knows.
