Mia Lane reached out to take it, gently stirred it with a spoon, and softly blew on it, "The temperature is just right, here." She scooped a spoonful and brought it to the little boy’s lips, "Ethan, open your mouth and take the dicine."
Ethan Dalton stared at her intently, understanding her words.
His brain received the instruction and began to relay it... he slowly opened his mouth.
"Good boy!" Mia Lane said happily, "Co on, once you take the dicine, you’ll feel great!" She patiently fed him the dicine, spoonful by spoonful, mouthful by mouthful.
"You’re really efficient at giving dicine." The female doctor brought a small stool and placed it behind Mia Lane, "Mrs. Kingston, please have a seat."
"Thank you," Mia Lane said to her, "I was delayed by sothing today, from now on, I’ll take care of giving him his dicine."
"It’s clear that Young Master Dalton likes you a lot."
"Of course, I’m his sister!" Ever since she saw the paternity test, Mia Lane said this with full confidence.
As she sat on the small stool and finished feeding the last spoonful of dicine from the bowl, Trevor knocked on the door and entered the room.
Mia Lane turned at the sound, and the doctor took the bowl from her hand. She stood up, "Trevor, you’re off work? What about Dad?" she glanced behind him.
"President Dalton will be here shortly." Trevor, with gentlemanly manners, glanced at Mia Lane, "We didn’t co from the sa place."
He then turned his gaze to Ethan Dalton, "Ethan has made progress, I just saw him obediently taking his dicine, spoonful by spoonful, from the door."
"He only drinks it when I feed him. He’s not as well-behaved with others," Mia Lane smiled slightly, glancing at the little boy in the chair, "Chinese dicine is still a bit bitter, even with added sugar, it doesn’t taste good."
Trevor praised, "That’s really impressive."
In the corridor, Justin Kingston arrived, hands in the pockets of his black handmade suit, walking towards them.
In the white beam of light, his aloof and noble figure, eyes tranquil as a deep well, made people want to approach yet seed separated by a vast distance.
The passing dical staff, especially the girls, almost scread!! They stopped in their tracks, eyes wide open!
"Wow! What a dreamboat!"
"CEO Kingston is so handso, even more than in the news!"
His unparalleled charm and innate aura captivated the hearts of the girls completely.
Even though he was married, so people still went crazy for him, seeing him as their dream.
Justin Kingston stopped at the doorway, seeing Trevor wiping Mia’s sleeve with a handkerchief, the two appearing very close.
"Did it burn you?" Trevor asked with concern while wiping.
"No, no," Mia Lane forced a smile despite the pain, "It’s nothing."
Justin Kingston’s eyes darkened, displeasure written on his face! As he was about to rush in and separate the two, footsteps ca from behind.
He turned at the sound, seeing his father-in-law’s figure entering his sight.
Seeing Justin Kingston, David Dalton quickened his pace, "CEO Kingston, you’re here? Why not go in?" He ca forward a few steps to stand beside his son-in-law and also saw the scene inside.
David Dalton looked at Trevor and Mia Lane, then at Justin Kingston, who pursed his thin lips, seemingly trying to ignore the sudden flash of displeasure in his heart.
A big misunderstanding!
Just as David Dalton wanted to say sothing, Justin Kingston stepped forward, "Is everything alright?" He approached Trevor with a dismissive attitude and took his wife’s hand.
"What brings you here?" Mia Lane was delighted, asking instinctively.
Justin Kingston looked at her, jealously asking, "Why? Not happy to see ?"
"No, no, no, no!" Only David Dalton knew what was going on, he quickly followed in, "Of course she’s happy, everyone is concerned about Ethan, taking ti to co after work, I thank you on Ethan’s behalf."
Trevor remained silent, and Justin Kingston ignored him.
"...Dad," Ethan Dalton’s voice ca through.
All eyes focused on him, seeing the smile on his face.
