[OP: ]
It was a normal day in the capital of the empire.
Tyhe city’s as bustling and there was people going around the place wigthj nogti8ng much going in their lives.
They were happy and they were said.
So were enhjoi9ng while other werre suffering, it wass all normal stuff that happens in the cities of this tilines, this setting.
The empire was still flourishing in the border sense and though the rich was getting richer and proof was getting poorer, they were not completely one sided.
The emperor of the empire did not like giving away power to the nobles that might rise up to challenge his authority so he had masterfully distributed powe to the poor through bvarious peolicirs, education centers and training institutes that worked only for him and profduced talents that he might use in the future.
This place was a special thing for the future of the empire and to maintain his power standing while so of the other places did the dirty work that he wanted take n care of.
There was an institute specially devoted for killing the individuals that he did not like, institution for the economic manipulation’s, so institutions to hinder the growth and functioning of the other countries and society while there were also teams and organizations that reported only to him.
He had people evrerywhere and this while system that he had created worked for him and sustained his place on the golden throne of the empire.
He was the absolute master of the western continent and though there weere people stronger than him on this content in terms of pure abilities, the were not as good as him with the matters regarding the worldly affairs or other things as him.
They might be good but they were no match for him when it ca to scheming ands using things— resources that was avalable for his disposal.
He had an eye for talent and he had gathered as many people and forces around him as one master rul,er possibly could.
They were his abode and though he rules with fear, authority, and strength, he knew what the humans and mortals desired.
He had long surpassed the realm of tyhe morals and had choked enlightnt.
He had knowledge that was needed to possesse the authority rank of the and it was no normal thing in this world.
He was a strong force that was not sothing one could look down on, and not even the gods and the lords of this world that watched his plots and supported him with the donations of the Divine currency, could not ss with him in stirs world.
Sure they had their restrictions but the reason that they could noty ss with him, mainly, was te fact that he was still part of that world and not the higher realms.
{Wheeeeeeeooooooo~! Wheeeeeeeeooooooooo~!}
There was a announcent machenism all over the empire and there were certain centers that maintained these announcent centers.
These announcent centers announced certain important news and infor4mations to the citizens of the empire in various places and since this was a system implented all over the empire, techyniqcally the sirens were sothing the entire world had their attention on.
There were various nations tghat kept they movents of the empire re in check and there were various nations that operated on based on all the moved that the empire made.
There were powers that they emperor kept in check and these powers also kept the emperor in check.
Anything happening in the empire was a big deal for them and, these special sirens that go off ever few decade or century were sothing that sopecial powers of thsi world always looked out for.
These powers, just like every other ti, were surprised to recive the news about Today’s events as well.
{All dear individuals of the empire... I’m the crown prince, Morexis Von Jivan Kadeloth Paras De Barnacle. The rightful hair of the blessed throne of the Barnacle.}
The entire world was in a disarray when the crown prince of the empire himself announced his declaration of war against the emperor and changed him for the right to the throne.
An historic event that had never taken place as long as any subject of this empire had been alive.
There were talks a bout how the prince was being arrogant and how there was soon going to be a Great War happening, but the most surprising thing about this announcent, was the response of the empror.
"How is that arrogant bastard not delt with this shit alredy?"
People were not only taking about this in tghe empire, but all over the world?
"Call the conference."
Powers were starting to gathers for the discussions of what they would do if this war was starched to their lands.
And this was not limited to the powers of the western continent.
The west was alredy been dealt with by the prince so there was not much to see in this conflict for them.
They knew what they had to do and, from how the crown prince had put it... he wanted this war to be with the empror and not the empire.
He wanted a dual of the lives of the two individuals on the line, and he called it a divine right of the one baring the weight of the crown.
He was only a crown prince in na, but at the end of the day, he was A corn prince recoganised by the people of the empire and the entire world.
They knew him as the most competent hair of the throne and the one who possessed capabilities on par with the empror himself.
They knew his gentle nature and even though his image among the common folks was not sothing special, tose who knew the basatrd empror knew well how his character were sothing much better than that monster father of his.
And they also had heard rumors of his alignnt with the thieves who had recently obtained perhaps the most powerful weapon of their world.
There wanted to send him offers for help in return of so benefits but, the empire had alredy closed its borders after the announcent was made.
The public was left in confusion since they did noty know much abou7t the conflicts of the royals but, they had only one concern.
If there was going to be a war, it was inevitable that the entire empire and the daily lives of the common people would be put into jeopardy.
Many people might have go to war willingly or unwillingly and there might be even deeper problems in the society.
They were all worried sincve the topic of a war was never a good thing for the common folks, but this ti around, they had no need to concern themselves witgh this perticuler topic.
The war was going to happen between the emoror and the crown prince.
Much like an official duel of the knights or the sacred battle of the warriors, thsi battle was going to be fought between the absolute ruler of the barnacle and teh rightful hair to the throne.
One of them will have to give up tyheir right to rule while the other would have to submit to the winner and accept their fate.
They would use their own forces in the process and nothing more and this would be unrelated to the outside forces that are not part of the empire or are part fo any other power.
This was the war of the empror, his people, the crown prince, and his people.
And though the effects of this war would be sothing, there was most certainly no irreversible damage possibility— that was what the common people had in mind at least.
They were common subjects that the empror himself had conditioned to think and function ins certain way.
Their wills were restricted and even though they might into know, even their daily actions were manipulated by the empror and his will.
The functioning of the daily lives was a complicated matter from a higher perspective, and that was the reason most of the nobles who had power and knew the truth of the emoror were going to side with the crown prince in this matter.
The borders of the empire were going to be closed for the ti being so the students of the academy were not going to go back to their ho until the end of this conflict... not that the academy was concerned with the happenings odf the outside world.
Half of the students were unaware of the things going just outside the walls of their academy... and, it was the best that way.
The closing of the borders would certainly result in great economic losses but, even the empror could not take any chances at this point.
The ministers that worked for him, as he knew, had now turned their backs on him, and complied their limits of usefulness.
He was going to eliminate most of them as soon as he can, he just had to say a word for them to parish from tyhis world.
The opposing side was not his son, tghe crow prince but the ones staying behind him in the shadows— the masters of the thieves that had lived longer than their age.
These people possessed extraordinary abilities and powers and he knew a gist of that alredy.
And still... since he did not have a certain idea of their overall powers, he was not going to take any chances.
"Lark..."
The power of capital was Immanuel in a war. Perhaps more than information in so cases.
And he had amassed a great ton of capital in these long years of his life on this golden throne...
He had a special dinsional rchant as well and he was going to spend a great fortune just for the day that he had known would befall him so day...
As the professor fortold, the one who will challenge his absolute authority had appeared at the end.
And, now... it was ti for him to do what he had been contemplating over many centuries.
