Not only did the Zhou Family know nothing, but even when Hu Ma first entered the underworld, he himself was unaware.

Originally, he had properly Entered the Mansion for Shousui, possessing excellent dharma thods and a solid foundation. However, only a few days had passed since he descended. In that short ti, he had already defeated Fourth Miss Zhou and consud the jade bottle in her hand. His confidence had already multiplied severalfold.

Then, under the guidance of Mr. Longjing, he suddenly enjoyed such a vast amount of Purple Tai Sui. The benefits it brought were enormous.

These Purple Tai Sui were genuine; the Noble Zhang Family dared not use fakes to fool him, lest Mr. Longjing notice and refuse to cooperate with them in luring other evil spirits. Of course, one reason was that the Purple Tai Sui ca from the ng family, and the Zhang family did not feel the loss.

After consuming so much Purple Tai Sui, did he consider himself to have achieved Shangqiao? Hu Ma was actually no longer concerned. Under the blessing of this much Purple Tai Sui, his two and a half Life Incenses had turned purple, and the power of his Lifebound Spirit Temple was unprecedented. It seed that the gap between Entering the Mansion and Shangqiao had beco severely blurry.

With such a foundation, plus this solid piece of land under his feet, how much strength did he have now? Hu Ma couldn't tell, but he felt that even if these ant-like little ghosts doubled, they wouldn't be significant.

"What a monster!"

At the sa ti, seeing Hu Ma facing the rolling yin souls without retreating a single step, with just a Dharma Form blocking thousands of Evil Ghosts, the leaders of the ng and Zhang families had darkened expressions. "Only those evil spirits born in hell could have such skill!"

"Fortunately, they were using these worthless little ghosts..."

The Eldest Master ng squinted his eyes, staring at the ground under Hu Ma's feet, and said coldly, "His skills are not weak, but dealing with him isn't hard; the tricky part is the place under his feet."

"The evil spirit is indeed a monster. Our ng family worked painstakingly, spent many years and much Purple Tai Sui, to create such a blessed land in this City of the Dead, but this evil spirit just walked a few steps and turned it into theirs."

"Third Old Master, why not take action and break his Magic? As long as Shousui leaves that place, I will grab that child and bring him to you with a wave of my hand."

Third Master Zhang seed conflicted. After a mont of silence, he began, "This..." He paused again before whispering, "He's been in my Zhang family too long. Although we've been careful, he still learned quite a bit from us... When it cos to the Ten Destiny-setting thods... not many surpass him!"

The Eldest Master ng looked surprised. "Even you can't?"

Third Master Zhang looked even more embarrassed, whispering, "Our Zhang family mbers seldom personally learn the Magic."

Seeing Eldest Master ng's strange look, he suddenly let out a cold laugh. "But our Zhang family guards the earth veins, suppressing the world's fortune. No matter how many talents there are in the Haishou school, if they can't harness the power from the earth veins, what waves can they stir?"

"Your ng family has many talents, and since they're all trapped here already, how hard can it be to capture those two?"

And just as Hu Ma single-handedly blocked the invasion of the thousands of Evil Ghosts, Mr. Longjing arrived at the Divine Descent Platform. He slowly took out from his sleeve three incense, a straw man, a bag of incense ash, and seven talismans drawn with intricate lines.

These were all mundane items. For the past twenty years, the Zhang family had been watching him closely, thinking he had no access to many good things.

He raised his head, looked around, and understood everything clearly.

A faint sneer appeared on his face. "So, to guard against , there was no real connection to the earth veins, and therefore, you couldn't borrow the power of the earth veins on this platform?"

He looked up at the magic boat in the gloomy void, seemingly seeing the shadow of Third Master Zhang. His face showed disdain and ridicule. "Noble, noble, your so-called nobility amounts to just this."

"Having co to this world, all I see is a bunch of foolish and wicked people, yet this world's skills earn respect. The Haishou school, communicating with heaven and earth, knowing yin and yang, was originally a remarkable Skill, an impressive feat."

"But in the end, because those ten earth veins are in the Zhang family's hands, all Haishou in this world must call these layn ancestors. This is the biggest joke under heaven..."

While speaking, he swept his large sleeve, and the straw man before him suddenly enlarged and stood up.

Then he held the three incense, turned to Worship in four directions, inserted them on the Divine Descent Platform, and then stuck a talisman on the straw man with a raised hand.

"Today, I will let your Zhang family see the skills of Haishou!"

As he spoke, he had already turned around, holding incense ash, quickly sprinkling a talisman-shaped pattern on the ground. Then he raised his hands high towards the straw man, or rather the talisman on it, and bowed deeply.

In an instant, countless stones and patterns on the Divine Descent Platform beneath his feet began to turn, emitting threads of Purple Qi, subtly spreading in all directions.

"Sothing's wrong!"

Above, both the Zhang and ng families, although seeing Hu Ma's ferocity preventing the rolling Yin Ghosts from approaching, were not panicked. They knew the Divine Descent Platform was rely an empty shell.

But this thought changed abruptly with the platform's transformation, and they cried out, "How can he perform Magic?"

"Impossible..." Third Master Zhang was also shocked. "The earth veins haven't been drawn down..."

But before he could finish speaking, Mr. Longjing finished another bow, rose, and abruptly stepped Gang Dou, writing in the void. A wisp of purple from his fingertip drew in gusts of vengeful winds, shaking the entire City of the Dead.

This City of the Dead, with no shortage of vindictive souls and fierce ghosts, had accumulated over hundreds of years to an indescribable magnitude.

Even with the ng family borrowing their ancestor's power, they only managed to carve out a living space to enjoy prosperity here, but couldn't truly claim the City of the Dead as their own.

However, grievances, like debts, have owners; normally, the Vengeful Ghosts in the City of the Dead were benign. Yet now, inexplicably, as Mr. Longjing wrote in the void, they gradually awoke.

The unimaginable resentnt rolled and surged, montarily gathering from all directions towards the Divine Descent Platform.

At this peak mont, a grim expression also appeared on Mr. Longjing's face. "Resentful ghosts stubbornly guard the City of the Dead, undispelled, undying, their grievances unredressed. I am also a resentful ghost, one who has lived twenty years longer. Let first borrow your resentnt to open a path for the resentful ghosts of this City of the Dead!"

His voice grew deeper, and his face turned sinister. When he finished speaking, he swung his large sleeve.

The talisman on the straw man before him imdiately caught fire. Although it was just a foot-long yellow talisman, it burned intensely, black smoke rolling as the talisman paper gradually burned away, leaving behind the intricate patterns.

And as he perford Magic and was casting a spell on the Divine Descent Platform, the pent-up pain and grievances of the awakening, unwilling resentful ghosts in the City of the Dead seed influenced by Mr. Longjing's Magic from the platform, exploding violently.

RUMBLE!

Deep in the City of the Dead, countless massive shadows of Evil Ghosts were awakened. In the hazy, gloomy mist, colossal ghostly figures bowed towards the Divine Descent Platform from afar.

Even Hu Ma, now surrounded and compelled by the yin souls and little ghosts to attack him, seed affected. They forgot about Hu Ma temporarily, turning their heads one by one, wailing continuously, and bowing towards Mr. Longjing.

As the reaction of countless Vengeful Ghosts unfolded, the talisman that Mr. Longjing had bowed to burned more fiercely, layer upon layer of indescribable, terrifying resentnt engulfing it.

"What is that..."

At this mont, even Hu Ma, who was acting as Mr. Longjing's protector, involuntarily turned his head, his face changing drastically, experiencing a sense of shock and trembling.

He too understood that the seven arrows Mr. Longjing spoke of weren't actual arrows but Evil Arrows, General Evil.

The Evil Arrow was ford by borrowing evil to harm a person's destiny.

However, this level of General Evil was unthinkable; the more malevolent the place, the easier it was to form this Evil Arrow, but nowhere under heaven or earth could be more malevolent than the City of the Dead.

Shooting anyone ant certain death, no question about it.

"Ah..."

Even Third Master Zhang, who had just been making fierce speeches on the wooden boat, suddenly turned pale, raising his sleeve to cover his face, fearing the arrow might co for him.

But this cover was in vain. As Mr. Longjing waved his sleeve amidst the Worship of ten thousand ghosts and the rise of evil energy, in an instant, black smoke from the talisman, carrying endless resentnt, turned into a faint arrow flying out from the Divine Descent Platform.

It flew faster and faster, a terrifying aura piercing the underworld like a sharp arrow, shooting towards the mortal realm.

In this bright dayti place of living beings, three intersecting paths converged on the Dragon Eye of Bing State, where stood an ancient and imnse Zhang Mansion, full of fortune, classical in atmosphere, covering several thousand mu, encircled by countless cities and manor houses.

Hanging over the large gate filled with copper nails and imbued with countless incense offerings, the family door suddenly seed struck by an invisible force, shattering into pieces, wood chips flying into the mud.

It was as though all tangible and intangible forces converged at one point, influencing each other.

While only a single family door shattered, at that mont, within this ancient mansion, the ancestral hall—housing who knew how many ancestral tablets—suddenly shook. Tablets fell and broke one by one; water vats and ceramics in the house all cracked simultaneously.

In broad daylight, the sounds of ghostly wails arose; children under six in the clan, cats, dogs, and livestock cried out and ran madly, turning violent, biting and scratching.

The Zhang family mbers, no matter what they were doing, felt only a sharp pain in their foreheads, instantly dazed.

Upon reopening their eyes, they saw a blood-red haze between heaven and earth, swaying eerily. Everything appeared strange, and the sky itself seed to have lowered, threatening to crush them.

"Not good..."

Amidst the bowing of ten thousand ghosts and an arrow shot to the mortal realm, dead silence prevailed. Within the City of the Dead, Third Master Zhang, his sleeve yet to be removed from his face, suddenly realized sothing, crying out in distress, "He's going to open the skies for the underworld!"
