Mu Qing gracefully stepped out of the carriage, her movents carrying an air of respect as she opened the rear door. Following suit, Bo Yi gently held Fang Yuan’s hand and disembarked from the vehicle.

The sight left her closest friends utterly astonished.

“Yuqi, isn’t that your fiance? Why is he holding another girl’s hand?”

“Absolutely, that girl ca out with him. How dare she co to your doorstep and flaunt herself?”

“What does she think she’s up to?”

“I’m not letting this vixen get away with it!”

“Count in for helping you reclaim what’s yours, Yuqi!”

Her friends were all ready to rally behind Cheng Yuqi and impart a lesson to Fang Yuan.

Despite her intense jealousy, Cheng Yuqi managed to restrain her friends. “Enough, let’s not create a scene. She’s actually a distant relative of my family.” “What kind of ridiculous relative is she, trying to steal your fiance?”

“Yuqi, they’re practically trampling all over you. Can you really just let it slide?”

“Did Bo Yi fall for soone else? Was he drunk? Or did soone lure him?”

Cheng Yuqi struggled to find a way to elucidate the bewildering scenario before her. Fortunately, a few dozen ters separated them, affording her the chance to murmur, “It’s like this… She cos from a really difficult background. You all know how much my parents are into charity work. They’re considering adopting her at the mont. I suppose Yi sympathizes with her due to her tough circumstances…”

“In any case, it’s probably a misunderstanding!”

These explanations only further stoked her friends’ ire.

“If she was in need, they could’ve given her money. Why bring an outsider into the family?”

“Absolutely right. Bringing in non-relatives can lead to trouble. They might have ulterior motives, eyeing your family’s wealth and even your fiance!”

Cheng Yuqi felt utterly unequipped to handle this series of unforeseen events. Fortunately, Auntie Wang rushed over after hearing the news, prompting Cheng Yuqi to signal her before ushering her friends away.

anwhile, on another front.

Just as Fang Yuan disembarked from the carriage, she found herself t with the foolishly grinning face of Qian Dawei. “Hello, Miss Fang Yuan, fate brings us together once more.” He had intended to inquire about the delivery address from his boss but found himself obstructed by his boss’s interference, rendering communication impossible…

“Why are you here?” Fang Yuan’s surprise at seeing him was tempered by a growing sense of foreboding. Her eyes flicked over. Why did it seem like the designs she had toiled over all night were present? And upon closer inspection, they indeed were! Her heart felt like it might fail her. How did these items co back to her after taking a full circle?

“Do you two know each other?” Bo Yi directed a wary and displeased gaze from Fang Yuan to Qian Dawei.

Qian Dawei couldn’t believe his luck that Bo Yi was actually holding his boss’s hand. The fact that his hand remained attached was simply astonishing.

“David, what brings you here?” Qiao Xinhui, drawn out by the commotion, shared in the confusion. “And why the sudden influx of clothes? We hadn’t scheduled any deliveries for today.”

“Yi, Yuanyuan, you’re back? Can soone explain what’s happening?” Cheng Ye’s bewildernt mirrored Qiao Xinhui’s.

Seeing the collective puzzlent, David Qian offered an explanation, “All these items were ordered by Mr. Bo.”

“Yi?” Both Cheng Ye and Qiao Xinhui turned their gaze to Bo Yi.

Bo Yi clarified, “Yuanyuan just returned ho and hasn’t had the chance to go shopping. So, 1 took the liberty of ordering a few things for her to wear in the anti. We can shop for more once she’s available.”

Fang Yuan’s mind whirred in confusion. Didn’t this man question if she lacked anything before making such purchases? Just yesterday, she had accepted a hundred sets of clothes and bags from her parents. How on earth could she manage to wear through them all in a single day?

“I’ve noticed your fondness for this particular brand.” Each encounter with Fang Yuan revealed her adorned in attire, bags, or shoes from this very brand.

Fang Yuan:”…” It wasn’t so much about liking it as it was about wearing what her parents bestowed upon her. Furthermore, she had crafted these pieces herself. Wasn’t it only natural that she showcased her own designs?

But how could Bo Yi have known? He assud she had a preference for this brand…

Cheng Ye was about to speak, but just before he could, Qiao Xinhui nudged him, quickly adjusting her words. “Yi, your thoughtfulness is truly heartwarming. I have to say, not just Yuanyuan, even I’m moved!”

Cheng Ye:”???” Why was he barred from ntioning that he had just gifted the girl clothes and bags yesterday?

Observing their fingers intertwined, Qiao Xinhui felt elated. “Let’s not loiter here. Co inside, let’s sit and have a nice chat.”

“Then, I won’t intrude.” Bo Yi accepted without hesitation, guiding Fang Yuan into the villa while holding her hand.

At that mont, Cheng Ye caught sight of their linked hands. Amid his excitent, a twinge of sadness also surfaced. His daughter had barely been back for two days, and she was already ensnared into leaving!

Qian Dawei hadn’t anticipated his boss’s ruthlessness. The woman not only swindled his dad’s money but also showed no rcy to her boyfriend. Cunning, she was truly cunning! A fitting quality for his boss!

Cheng Ye was easy to deal with. The revelations about Bo Yi’s deceit left him astounded. The man was a master swindler, capable even of duping him.. Admirable, truly admirable!
