“This is our newly discovered daughter, Cheng Fangyuan,” introduced Qiao Xinhui to Bo Yi.

Bo Yi’s gaze softened. So, it was her. He had only known her na as Fang Yuan, but he didn’t anticipate her having a surna preceding it.

Realization also dawned on Mu Qing. Miss Fang Yuan’s surna wasn’t Fang, but Cheng! No wonder she had the audacity to stand up to everyone in the hospital and even dared to bring Su Jing to her knees. The Cheng Family was supporting her!

Unbeknownst to everyone, Cheng Yuqi had been eavesdropping on the second floor. She had initially thought that Bo Yi had co to confront her because of the elder sir, but to her surprise, he had co for Fang Yuan! She clenched her fists, consud by indignation. Why did Fang Yuan have to appear at this mont? Why did she have to return to this household? Why did he have to take everything away from her?

“So, Mister Yi ca today for…?” Fang Yuan looked at the man before her, unsure of the reason for his visit.

Bo Yi regarded the girl with clear, bright eyes. He pursed his thin lips, and his deep eyes emitted a radiance that seed to engulf his soul.

“I heard that my fiancee has returned ho, so 1 brought so gifts for the visit.”

Mu Qing’s eyes widened as she looked at Bo Yi in disbelief. Lord Bo, weren’t you here to annul the engagent? How did it turn into a visit? Did you change your mind because Miss Fang Yuan is the betrothed partner? Your deanor has changed faster than flipping through a book!

Despite the world’s perception of Bo Yi as cruel, ruthless, and cold-blooded, Qiao Xinhui still recognized his character after years of interaction. She knew that he was capable, grounded, and responsible. Setting aside everything else, in terms of appearance, wealth, and ability, he was unmatched. No one could compare. If their daughter married him… her life would undoubtedly be happy and secure. There would be no need for concern.

anwhile, Fang Yuan was stunned. She had never imagined that the man before her would suddenly beco her fiance…

“Grandpa wishes to et you,” Bo Yi’s gaze fixed on the girl, his voice magnetic and enchanting. “When are you available? Let’s visit him together.”

“Yuanyuan, since Grandpa Bo would like to et you, how about arranging it for today? Or perhaps tomorrow?” Qiao Xinhui inquired.

“If you’re uncomfortable going as his fiancee, you can also convey the Cheng Family’s sentints,” Bo Yi suggested with an air of nobility and composure, taking a step back to move forward.

“This is a clever suggestion!” Cheng Ye was surprised by this young man’s quick thinking.

“That’s right, expressing our regards on behalf of the Cheng Family…” Qiao Xinhui chid in as well.

Fang Yuan:”…” So, no one is interested in hearing her opinion, it seems.

“Well then, Yuanyuan, plan to visit Grandpa Bo tomorrow. You’ve been back ho for two days already, so it’s fitting to pay a visit,” Qiao Xinhui reasoned. After all, Bo Yi had fulfilled all aspects of the engagent agreent the Bo Family had proposed. The elderly lady was currently in the hospital with an unfavorable prognosis… As a junior, it was her duty to visit and express gratitude.

“Yes, that’s a good idea. Let’s go see the elder,” Cheng Ye concurred with a smile. “Bring along a gift. It wouldn’t be proper to arrive empty-handed…”

“No need for gifts. Your presence is sufficient,” Bo Yi interjected, his voice unwavering.

“How could that be? eting for the first ti requires proper decorum!” Cheng Ye insisted.

“Then allow to arrange it,” Bo Yi’s gaze softened as he turned his attention to Fang Yuan. “Shall we set a specific ti?”

Though her deanor remained detached, she still nodded in agreent under her parents’ hopeful gazes. “Fine.” She could treat it as a check on the elderly gentleman’s recovery. After all, she had received a check just two days ago.

After a bit more conversation, Bo Yi stood up to take his leave. “It’s getting late, and I shouldn’t keep you any longer.”

“You’re leaving just like that? Yi, you brought so many gifts, and this…” Qiao Xinhui’s sentence was cut off as she noticed Bo Yi pause, then respond, “These are rely tokens of my respect.”

“Yuanyuan, see Yi out quickly!” Qiao Xinhui urged.

Fang Yuan:”…” Why was she tasked with seeing him out?

“No need, Miss Cheng, please wait,” he deliberately emphasized the surna.

Fang Yuan raised an eyebrow at the sight of Bo Yi’s smile. Was he implying that she should have used her full na with her surna? She had only recently learned about her surna. It had only been two days, so she wasn’t entirely accustod to it yet.

“Get so rest, fiancee.”

Fang Yuan:”???” Fiancee? Did she say okay for that?

Cheng Ye and Qiao Xinhui were elated upon hearing this! It seed that Yi was highly pleased with Yuanyuan! This turn of events went beyond their expectations!

Unable to contain herself any longer, Cheng Yuqi, who was on the second floor, dashed down the stairs and out of sight into the garden path. “Yi…”

Seeing Cheng Yuqi rushing over, Mu Qing swiftly intervened. “What’s the matter, Lady Yuqi?”

As she watched Bo Yi depart, Cheng Yuqi’s distress was palpable. “Yi, it’s my fault that Grandpa’s condition deteriorated. I’m truly sorry… Thank you for not disclosing this to my parents and sparing the embarrassnt..”
