Theresa glanced at Seele, who had been standing quietly to the side without saying a word. She didn't ask much, instead leading the two to her office first. She would then call Kiana and the other two over to clarify things.

Watching Theresa leave with Xin Yu and Seele, the middle-aged woman in the security office, who had been sipping tea and watching the show, silently opened her computer. She edited the video footage captured by the surveillance caras earlier and then sent this segnt to an unknown email address.

Afterward, the woman ticulously erased all traces of her computer usage, ensuring no obvious, easily discoverable clues were left behind, before picking up her teacup and continuing to watch television.

As Xin Yu and Seele walked through the school grounds, they encountered so students and adults who were either staff or teachers. Without exception, all of them were female. So far, Xin Yu hadn't seen a single male in this school besides himself.

Xin Yu had been curious about this before. It always felt as if Honkai favored won more; human females tended to possess higher Honkai energy adaptability and resistance than males.

Therefore, this school, dedicated to training warriors to fight against the Honkai, was almost entirely populated by girls. Males were as rare as endangered species.

In fact, it wouldn't be out of place to call this place an all-girls school.

Naturally, everyone in the school was sowhat curious about this suddenly appearing male. However, it wasn't as if they were overly concerned. After all, he just looked like an ordinary, unremarkable young man with no special features.

Compared to this young man, everyone's attention was more focused on Seele, who looked as soft, cute, and endearing as a little bunny.

This was the result Xin Yu wanted. After all, if he didn't restrain himself and put on a disguise, then anyone who saw his face would, in all likelihood, beco his fanatical believer. Consider Cecilia from another world: despite having soone she deeply loved and possessing a relatively strong will, she had co into contact with his Nascent Soul and rembered his appearance, thus being easily captivated by him.

Although his Nascent Soul itself wouldn't radiate outwards, the re aura it exuded was enough to capture these rookie Valkyries, many of whom had yet to experience a bloody battle.

While he could indeed be considered a scumbag who had started a harem, he hadn't fallen so low as to use such thods to make all the won in the world fall in love with him.

That was both disgusting and pitiful.

After leading the two into her office, Theresa sat down in her chair. Xin Yu took a particular look and noticed that her chair had been specially raised.

"Ahem! Please, sit down. I've already notified Kiana and the others to co over. This ti, I still hope you can clarify past events. Because of you, the three of them have been in very low spirits these past few days."

"Although I hope your visit this ti is purely to reminisce with Kiana and the others, judging by how decisively you left before, that's probably not your intention... So, young man, what is your purpose this ti?"

Xin Yu looked at Theresa, who had her hands propped under the bridge of her nose, her expression serious and earnest, exuding a maturity and an air of authority that belied her appearance. He felt as though he had seen this gesture sowhere before. And shouldn't the person making this gesture be wearing glasses?

"Actually, I did co this ti to et Kiana and the others. Also, it's about this girl beside . She's Bronya's younger sister. Many years ago, they were separated due to an accident. I found her through a fortunate coincidence, so I also hope they can be reunited."

Theresa looked at Seele, who appeared sowhat restless. She bore no resemblance to Bronya, so she must be one of the children from the orphanage Bronya had ntioned.

"Are you currently wandering around outside? St. Freya Academy isn't an all-girls school. We train warriors here to fight against the Honkai. It's just that most individuals who et the required standards for Honkai energy adaptability and resistance happen to be female, so the student body is predominantly girls."

"But according to Kiana, you yourself possess special powers and were even able to defeat the newly awakened Third Herrscher and a pseudo-Herrscher at the ti. This is enough to prove that you are also a talented individual with high Honkai energy resistance and adaptability. If you don't mind, I hope you would consider joining St. Freya Academy."

Xin Yu listened to Theresa's words with a smile, then shook his head and said, "There's no need. My personal situation is rather special, so I'm not suited for staying and studying at the school."

"Is that so... That's truly regrettable. However, if you ever decide to join, we will always welco you. If you run into any trouble while you're out there on your own, you can also contact anyti."

As Theresa spoke, she took out her phone, preparing to exchange contact information. Xin Yu thought for a mont and then took out a brand-new phone from his pocket, looking as if it had just been unboxed. The two exchanged contact details.

Although, in most situations, they would likely be unable to reach Xin Yu.

"Xin Yu!"

Kiana hurriedly burst open the door to Theresa's office. Upon seeing Xin Yu sitting on the sofa with a smile, the tension and anxiety in her heart gradually subsided.

"Seele!"

Bronya, who followed Kiana in, saw Seele sitting to the side. In an instant, her usual stoic facade faltered, and a clear shift of emotion appeared on her face.

"Bronya-oneechan!"

Seele also stood up happily, looking at Bronya, who hadn't seed to change much from before. A genuinely joyful expression blood on her face.

Just as the long-separated sisters gazed at each other, Bronya suddenly felt sothing she was wearing around her neck loosen. Then, she noticed the cross pendant fly off and land in Xin Yu's hand.

Xin Yu looked at the cross pendant in his hand, unable to stop the mories of his past conversations with Father Otto from surfacing.

"Thank you, Bronya. Thank you for keeping this for ... This pendant is very important to ."

Bronya looked at the smile on Xin Yu's face and the pendant he held in his hand. She recalled the ti when she lay grievously injured on the ground, on the verge of death, and the young man who had suddenly appeared before her.

Bronya couldn't quite tell if it was because of this heroic act of saving a damsel in distress, or the inexplicable sense of indebtedness she felt towards him, that she had never been able to forget Xin Yu.

And now, he had even brought Seele back...

He didn't bla for causing him to lose his ho. He didn't bla for participating in the plan that indirectly led to the deaths of an entire city's people...

Bronya... just how could she ever repay him?
