Veronica took a deep breath as she wandered through the halls as she tried to figure what happened with the Queen. It couldn't have been Charm, could it? She couldn't rember using it, nor could she rember what happened while she was unconscious. It was a quick flicker, so it shouldn't have been enough for anything to happen.
Interrupting Veronica's thoughts, Eleanora ran up to her, embracing Veronica tightly.
"You're back! It was so stifling without you around." Eleanora said, holding on as if Veronica would disappear if she let go. "I was so scared for you, Cassidy and Aviris. Everyone's fine, right?"
"Elly..." Veronica softly responded, stroking her hair and looking deep into her eyes. She debated if she should tell her what happened. "Yeah, everyone's fine."
And, for what felt like eternity ago, the two shared a kiss, gently fighting for control. By the ti they parted, they were panting for air.
"I suppose you're free for now, then?" Eleanora asked.
"I think so. Why do you ask?"
"I want to officially introduce you to Celia. Co, co, she should still be in the library!" Eleanora stater as she grabbed Veronica's hand, pulling her along with a smile on her face.
It took a while for Veronica to notice, but Eleanora was wearing a rather elegant dress, and her smile made her seem so precious. Enough to invade Veronica's thoughts, she imagined doing all sorts of lewd things to her while in the dress.
Veronica quickly shook the thoughts away, and just simply followed the smiling princess through the halls of her ho.
Any visitors who saw them would never have expected that the two of them were more than just simply friends. In fact, they'd probably be wholly against it, to keep their princess pure.
The two stood in front of a double door, leading into the library, with two soldiers standing guard right outside.
"Is my sister still in there?" Eleanora asked one of the guards, just to double check.
"Yes, Your Highness. Crown Princess Celia has yet to leave the library." He reported, never relaxing his body, standing at attention.
"Thank you." Eleanora said, opening the door and motioning for Veronica to follow.
The lighting in the library was interesting. Bright enough to see absolutely everything, yet sohow still dim enough to evoke a sense of calmness and comfort. Books as far as the eye can see.
The bookworm in Veronica was silently telling her how good of a deal it would be to marry Celia, just for this library alone.
"We have every book ever published. From the most popular writers all the way to tos of forbidden magics. Geography, poltics, mathematics, romance, this library has them all and is always expanding." Eleanora explained, walking Veronica through.
Veronica couldn't keep her eyes fixated in any direction. This was sothing Veronica never though she would ever wish for.
And soon, Veronica spotted the familiar red hair that Eleanora's family seems to have.
"Sister! They've all co back. And, I want to formally introduce you to Veronica Dornan. A very, very, good friend." Eleanora started, adding a lewd inflection. Though, it seems that Celia didn't notice.
"Oh! It's a pleasure to et you!" Celia exclaid, quickly stood up and took Veronica's hand, shaking it vigorously, all with an oddly adorable smile. "Ella has told so much about you. And, in honesty, it makes feel as though I've crossed the wrong bridge." Celia chuckled to herself.
"That's... That's from "The Bridge to The Tower", isn't it?" Veronica recognized the familiarity of the quote.
"Oh, yes, yes! A fellow romance novel fan!" Without wasting a beat, Celia embraced Veronica.
At this point, it was rather difficult to tell which sister was, in fact, the elder one. But, Veronica was excited to have soone to speak to about romance novels. It has been quite a while.
Their conversations were filled with laughter and recomndations after recomndations. Though, there was sothing that Veronica hadn't expected.
"Is this what love at first sight feels like?" Celia asked innocently, with that adorable smile on her face.
Her question made Veronica's brain go poof, and now, she was in need of a royal restart.
