Veronica had been clinging to Cassidy for the past two days as the group was awaiting for the Elven Council to reconvene. Though, Veronica had started to calm down, becoming less and less clingy, though still anxious and constantly checking on Cassidy.

Cassidy, however, felt guilty as she enjoyed Veronica being clingy, even if it was due to her dying.

It didn't take long for Shaerrill to return with so news.

"The Council will see you now. Please, follow ." She stated courtly, seemingly in work mode at the mont.

The girls moved quickly, not wishing to keep the Council waiting. It didn't help that they were nervous either. After all, these are the people that run the Elven governnt. As soon as they stepped near the door, it opened, as if they knew exactly when to expect them.

"Eil sa Shaerillistev. Veh dos lin?" One of the older Elves sitting upon his Council seat asked in his mother tongue.

"Ge, Nalahm. Vest nok kida han. Mik dos jida la." Shaerill responded.

"What are they saying?" Cassidy asked, whispering to Veronica.

"I think he asked if we already finished it. She responded that we have, and cleared the locations." Veronica assud, given her limited knowledge of the language.

"Van. Ist kan hala bern vi ala."

"Ge."

The council mbers began speaking to each other, so seed angry, others seed relieved.

"What's going on?" Veronica asked Shaerill.

"They're discussing what to do next. In our culture, we're to send guests with sothing as a show of good faith. However, due to recent history, they need to figure out a fitting gift."

"What kind of gifts would they send?"

"Depends on the guest. At least food, or for what you have done, sothing like an artifact or so form of speciality. And, it has been a very long ti since we've done sothing like this. Ah, it looks like they ca to a conclusion."

"Eil sa Shaerrillistev. Hast iv kala nah, ceil jev fahn."

"Vel!?"

"W-What? Why is she angry?"

"I... I don't know." Even Veronica was confused. It didn't that she got lost in translation.

"Esta, Shaerrillistev. Nel ha vok ses. Ishta fahn."

Shaerrill took a deep breath and sighed. "Ge dahn. Ist es nal. Ishta fahn vel ok."

The council took pause for a mont then smiled.

"Ven lin jenda fen." The council mbers all stood up and started to walk away, and Shaerrill ca.e back to the girls.

"Looks like I'm joining you as the gift."

"Wait, what?"

"I'm to act as a form of diator between the Elves and humans, a wish of sorts, to help ease the tensions between humans and elves. And, I'm to join you in your journeys. For now, anyways. That gives ti to..." She said, then quietly mumbling to herself with blush growing on her face.

'It feels a bit early, but I guess Shaerrill is joining my... uh... peerage.'

"Harem. It's just a full blown harem now." Lilith corrected.

Veronica a sighed as they left the council chambers. Now, all they needed to do was report to the Queen.
