Sophia’s POV

I hated all of them. I hated them all with such a burning passion. I hated seeing their stupid faces look down on . I hated hearing their voices repeating the sa incantations over and over again.

No matter what they did, nothing could hold back.

I would kill them all.

I hated everyone, not just them.

I hated my family. I hated how they all acted like they care about . None of them cared.

I hated the way my father always called his princess. I hated that nickna and I couldn’t wait to show him that I wasn’t his princess anymore. I never was.

I hated my aunt and uncle. My uncle acted like he cared about all of us. My aunt was always too nice and too kind. It was fake. Their kindness and care were all fake.

I hated how Mason and Mike treated like I was their sister. I wasn’t and I would never want to be their sister. Both of them were annoying and acted like they loved . They didn’t. They only cared about themselves.

I hated Alexander. He was always there and I couldn’t get away from him. He always talked about our bond like it was sothing special. It wasn’t. We just happened to be born by the sa woman at the sa ti. We had no bond and I couldn’t give a shit about the lies he told.

I hated my mate. The only reason he wanted was my magic. He wanted my power. If I didn’t have that, he would have rejected the day he t . He was greedy and I wouldn’t let him take what was mine.

But the one person I hated the most was my mother.

I hated how she took the darkness away. I hated how she took the power away. I loved the darkness inside of and she deprived of it. She denied my own power.

I felt the anger flowing through my veins. I felt it burn the inside of my body.

The chains rattled, making the witch who was in the room flinch.

“I will kill all of you,” I told her. “I am now understanding how to use the power. I will get out of these chains, and I will kill you.”

I could feel the fear radiating off her and it made smirk. She didn’t even realize that she was only feeding my power.

I took advantage of her fear and broke one of the chains on my legs.

“Sir!” she scread as she approached the table I was lying on.

She was staring at wide-eyed. I could now see the fear in her eyes.

“You should be afraid,” I said as I smiled at her. “I am nothing you’ve ever encountered before. I will kill you and I will make you suffer.”

She had no idea who she was dealing with. None of them did. None of them knew what I could do. None of them knew what I would do to them.

The door to my lovely little cell opened and he walked inside.

“She broke another one,” the witch said, her voice trembling.

He sighed and approached . He put his hands on each side of my head and looked down at . I smiled.

“You won’t get out of these chains, Sophia,” he said. “You can stop trying.”

I chuckled darkly.

“I am glad you think so,” I told him. “You won’t even see the end of your pathetic little life coming.”

He tightened his jaw and narrowed his eyes at .

“We have the sa goal, Sophia,” he said. “You want to kill your family, don’t you? I want them gone too. I want my son and his family gone. I brought you here so we can work together. I helped you release your darkness so we can work together. I am not your enemy.”

I laughed, making him grit his teeth.

“I hate you as much as I hate them,” I said. “I will kill you once I get out of these chains.”

He sighed and looked at the witch who was mumbling incantations, trying to get the chains to hold . It was useless, though. It was only a matter of ti before I would figure out how to focus on the power that I had. I was getting a hang of it and I would be free soon.

“Every dark creature has a weakness,” he said. “We need to find hers. She will do as I say if we find her weakness.”

He looked down at and smiled. “Won’t you, Sophia? If I find what your little black heart actually does care about, you will do what I say, won’t you?”

A sinister smile spread across my face. He was a fool, wasn’t he?

“Do you want to know why I am so dangerous?” I asked. “Do you know why you should have never played with the darkness inside ?”

He remained silent.

“I don’t have a weakness,” I said, making him gulp. “I don’t love anything or anyone. I don’t care about anything or anyone. My little black heart doesn’t even exist. I am the most dangerous creature on this planet and you made a huge mistake when you decided to take .”

I broke two more chains, just to prove a point.

He flinched and took a few steps back. He looked at the witch and the nervousness in his eyes made laugh.

He looked down at and I saw his jaw twitch.

“Everyone has a weakness, Sophia,” he said quietly. “I will find yours and I will make you do as I say.

I smiled at him.

“Don’t say I didn’t warn you,” I said, shaking my head and smirking at him.

Anger flashed in his eyes and he grabbed my face with his filthy hand. He got really close. So close that I could see a little freckle on his iris.

“Don’t play with , Sophia,” he growled. “You are at my rcy and I could kill you with one swipe of my claw against your neck. You have a choice to make, little wolf. You either help kill them all, or I will kill you.”

I wanted to smile, but he was holding my cheeks tightly.

“You will burn in a fire I will create,” I managed to say. “All of you will burn in a fire I will create. Nothing could save you. Nothing will save you. I will kill you all.”

He let go and stepped back.

“Bring in more chains,” he told the witch. “I don’t want her to be able to breathe.”

I looked at the ceiling and smiled.

That won’t help him. Nothing will help him.
