Mr Yao was shocked, "Is it really this serious? Master, do you know how to save Jing’er? Has she really been possessed by an evil spirit?"

Yu Nianzhao said, "It’s more than just an evil spirit; she has been sched against, touched sothing she shouldn’t have. Her life is being drained to extend soone else’s."

Mrs. Yao muttered, "Extend soone else’s life? Master, what do you an by this? My Jing’er has always been well-behaved, rarely leaving the house. Who could be so malicious?"

"If she doesn’t like going out, then we must suspect those at ho." Yu Nianzhao’s words were startling.

"What nonsense is this? Could she be a fraud? Jing’er is just unconscious, several doctors have said she is exhausted physically. The old lady was heartbroken for the one daughter you have, so she invited a Daoist, but... this female Daoist speaks so strangely; is she deliberately sowing division?"

"Indeed, looking at her clothes, she seems no different from an ordinary woman, not even holding any Daoist magic artifacts. Could she be a fake?"

The second and third branches of the Yao Family expressed suspicion towards Yu Nianzhao.

Yu Nianzhao raised an eyebrow, flipping her palm to bring the evil spirit closer to them and waving it.

The dark evil spirit startled them greatly; just being near it sent chills through their bodies, causing them to retreat several steps in fear.

"You all claim I’m a fake, yet you fear this evil spirit? Why not experience the feeling of being possessed and then argue its authenticity?"

Yu Nianzhao chuckled lightly, pretending to throw the evil spirit at them.

"No, no! Quickly get rid of this ghostly thing."

"What is all this noise about?"

Just as they were trembling, an elderly voice ca from outside the door.

Their gaze fell on an emotionless old lady surrounded by attendants as she approached; her robust form and sharp eyes indicated she was not easy to deal with.

Beside her was an old Daoist, followed by two young Daoists.

The steward wiped cold sweat and spoke sheepishly, "It was this old servant’s fault for admitting the wrong person. This is the Daoist master invited by the old lady."

Ms. Yao’s spirits rose, pointing at Yu Nianzhao, "I told you, you must be a fake, impersonating a Daoist to infiltrate our Yao Family. What are you really after? Could it be you’re here to fra Jing’er?"

"No, she isn’t."

Mrs. Yao stood in front of Yu Nianzhao, firmly shielding her.

Mrs. Yao knew clearly that her prayers had been answered, and no one could prevent King Yan from saving her daughter’s life.

"I heard from the steward earlier that a female Daoist entered the mansion. It’s strange; I clearly invited Mr Fang, so how did it change to soone else? It turns out they’re a fake."

Mrs. Yao glared displeasedly at Mrs. Yao, "Since she’s a fake, just drive her out. What are you doing? Said that Jing’er is possessed by evil, a Daoist was already called for, and you still act stubbornly?"

Mrs. Yao felt a natural fear of Mrs. Yao, but for her daughter, she was determined.

"Mother, to be honest, I invited this master." Mrs. Yao spoke fearlessly.

"What?"

The second and third branches of the Yao Family pointed at Mrs. Yao, even Mr Yao was unaware, "Madam, when did you invite a master?"

Mrs. Yao folded her hands and spoke softly, "Recently, I’ve been going out daily to pray at temples, and fortunately t the master at one shrine, asking her to co check Jing’er."

Indeed, she prayed at King Yan’s shrine.

"Hmph, have you disregarded my words? I’ve already invited a Daoist and you invite another?" Mrs. Yao was unhappy.

Mr Yao quickly put on a smile, "Mother, Madam surely doesn’t an that. Don’t misunderstand her! Madam, quickly apologize. Since the real Daoist is here, give the master so silver and let her leave."

Mrs. Yao pressed her lips, not showing any intention of apologizing.

Seeing Mrs. Yao’s anger rising and about to erupt.

Yu Nianzhao raised her hand and threw the evil spirit towards the Daoist.

"Oh dear, what are you doing? Attempting murder?"

Mr Fang was caught off guard, hurriedly taking out a bag to catch the evil spirit with a talisman.

However, his skills were insufficient; barely catching one evil spirit, as another two flew toward him, he quickly fled, leaving the evil spirits to possess his two disciples.

The two young Daoists suddenly beca frail, weakly curling on the ground, trembling all over.

"A Da and A Er, are you alright?"

Mr Fang was frantic, hurriedly placing talismans on their bodies, turning angrily to Yu Nianzhao, "How can you throw evil spirits all around? Are you deliberately targeting ?"

"What if I am?" Yu Nianzhao crossed her arms, unapologetically, "With your skills, you can’t save Yao Jing’er’s life."

Mr Fang’s face flushed with anger, "Who says? My reputation is well known; I run a Daoist temple in the east of the city, with over ten disciples. How am I incapable? And you, I’ve never heard of a female Daoist. Are you that scamr pretending to be a Daoist for money?"

Yu Nianzhao brushed her hair, "Who said I am a Daoist?"

"You’re not a Daoist? Then why are you here?"

Mr Yao puzzled, "Madam, were you really deceived?"

Mrs. Yao hesitated briefly, recalling the gilded statue at King Yan’s shrine, decisively shook her head, "Impossible, I trust the master."

"Hmph, you don’t know your limits." Mrs. Yao’s eyes flickered with light, coldly snorted, "Since everyone’s here, don’t say I’m inconsiderate, let them all examine Jing’er and see who’s truly capable."

Mrs. Yao breathed a sigh of relief, "Alright, let’s do as mother says, let them all try."

Mrs. Yao dismissed, "This girl looks quite pretty but is out to deceive blatantly; truly unlearned."

With one sentence, Yu Nianzhao was dismissed.

Yu Nianzhao remained calm, letting Mr Fang arrogantly examine Yao Jing’er.

"Miss Yao indeed seems a bit possessed by evil!"

Mr Fang deliberated for a mont, "Let exorcise first with this Exorcism Talisman, and let the evil have nowhere to hide."

He took out an Exorcism Talisman and placed it on Yao Jing’er’s forehead.

The evil spirit wandered out of Yao Jing’er’s body, Mr Fang smugly said, "See, this is my skill, can you compete with , young girl?"

Entirely forgotten was his fearful deanor earlier.
