Chapter 861: Chapter 857: Asking for the Hamr and Getting the Hamr
The proposal to sell Dunn Industries in exchange for liquid funds was approved by a majority vote, thanks to the support of major shareholders Harris Dunn and United Ventures.
Richelle Dunn wore a look of “indignation” on her face, but there was nothing she could do.
After the eting adjourned, Harris Dunn walked over to Richelle Dunn in a show of defiance, saying,
“Richelle, do you want to go out for a al, as a beginning and an end?”
Richelle Dunn gave him a cold glance and got up to leave.
“Richelle, wait for !”
Denise Munni quickly got up and followed her out.
The two of them entered the elevator and, as if by tacit agreent, did not speak a word on their way to the helipad on the top floor.
Once on board the plane and seated, Darren Moss called.
“Is it Director Moss? Aren’t you going to explain everything to him?”
Richelle Dunn shook her head, “Forget it, the fewer people know about this, the fewer variables there will be. Once it’s a done deal, I’ll explain it to him properly.”
She finished speaking with Denise Munni and answered Darren Moss’s call.
“Uncle Moss, what’s up?”
“Richelle, are you just going to stand by and watch your parents’ hard work get sold off?”
Richelle Dunn had no choice but to reply, “Uncle Moss, I’ll think of another way.”
“Or, you could talk to Mr. Lewis and have him buy Dunn Industries, that could work too!”
Richelle Dunn didn’t think it was a good suggestion, “Uncle Moss, with Harris Dunn’s temperant, how could he possibly sell Dunn Industries to Roy Lewis?”
“You’re right, even at the sa price, or even a lower price, he would choose another buyer. Deep down he knows that Dunn Industries is the most valuable part of the Dunn Group. It’s really their father and son’s inability to let go of their inner demons that are forcing them to sell it!”
Richelle Dunn was grateful that after more than twenty years, Darren Moss was still loyal to her parents.
“Uncle Moss, I’ll figure sothing out, don’t worry too much.”
After Richelle Dunn’s repeated assurances, Darren Moss finally hung up the phone feeling at ease.
“I estimate Harris Dunn will call Royce Gyons today.”

Harris Dunn, who was still working overti in the office, was imdiately inford by the Public Relations departnt and hastily assembled the key personnel from the departnt to discuss how to handle the situation.
“Mr. Dunn, these major dia outlets are quite certain of their sources, all claiming they have reliable information. If they do have evidence on hand, our current denials and explanations will only backfire.”
The PR director knew the two main goals that the dia outlets were discussing were true.
Harris Dunn also felt so agitation, stood up, and paced around the office.

He was cursing internally, as he had almost reached an agreent with Royce Gyons today and had even discussed the approximate transaction price.
This sudden turn of events rendered everything they had discussed today a waste of ti.
More importantly, it was not a matter of wasted efforts.
It was that if Dunn Group’s stock price were to plumt, the price of Dunn Industries would inevitably fall as well!

“Mr. Dunn, aren’t you afraid of asking for a hamr and receiving one?”
