Chapter 178 – 151 Chu Mo’s First Blind Date_2
“Just like that, you’re leaving? Not even leaving a contact thod? Next ti we miss you, how will we find you?”
Chu Mo curled his lips into a smile, not saying much. He took out his phone and simply said:
“WeChat or mobile number?”
“WeChat, WeChat is convenient. We can hassle you anyti, for anything.”
Chu Mo nodded, opened his WeChat, and waited for the other party to scan it. After adding as friends, he put his phone away with a smile and said:
“Keep in touch.”
Without waiting for the other party to respond, he turned and left again.
The Fan family’s nearly a hundred professional bodyguards had already left, and as Chu Mo turned around, his entourage, including dozens of bodyguards and a dozen lawyers, followed behind him. The large group hurriedly departed, leaving the bar hall suddenly much emptier.
However, the remaining second-generation rich kids in the bar had completely different moods.
One side was secretly delighted, the other was dead in the water.
“Sister April, Chu Ge is my good bro, you heard him earlier, he acknowledges as his bro. What’s Chu Ge’s WeChat? You’ve got to tell .”
The earring-sporting youth, nad Zhou Gang, imdiately sidled up to Lu Siyue with a sycophantic look on his face as soon as the others left. Just as he was about to take out his phone, Lu Siyue, clad in a glamorous cheongsam, put her pink phone away and said indifferently:
“If you want Chu Mo’s contact, ask him yourself, why co to … Besides, with so many people here, if everyone wants to add him on WeChat, do you see how busy he is? If each of you adds him, he’ll be annoyed to death.”
As the earring-sporting youth looked forlornly on, Lu Siyue clutched her phone tightly, already contemplating what to say for the first sentence when they would chat later.
…
The Rolls-Royce Phantom was already parked at the entrance of the bar. Chu Mo’s limited edition Ferrari, which he drove over, was taken back by a bodyguard as he had been drinking and naturally couldn’t drive anymore.
Sitting in the Rolls-Royce’s front passenger seat, the car started, and a long line of cars followed suit, each departing in different directions.
Chu Mo, sitting in the back seat, rubbed his nose bridge. Although his mind was clear, he couldn’t avoid feeling sowhat of a headache. He took the opportunity to rest his eyes while on the road. Once the Rolls-Royce entered the main road, Chu Mo gently said:
“Danny, have soone bring a pair of glasses from ho, send them straight to Tianxiangyuan Grand Hotel.”
Driving was Jiang Tao, the head of a detective agency, and sitting in the co-driver’s seat was the butler, Danny.
Upon hearing Chu Mo’s instructions, the middle-aged butler promptly agreed, then took out his phone to contact the maids at ho.
Chu Mo looked at his wristwatch. He arrived at Houhai Bar at eight o’clock in the evening, chatted with Grandpa Lu for a while, and then ssed around with those rich second-generations. Now, it was already nine forty.
But for young people, this ti was just the beginning of the nightlife. Although Chu Mo had a bit of a headache, he wasn’t particularly tired.
Chu Mo stared at the Patek Philippe watch on his wrist, lost in thought, feeling as though he had forgotten sothing important, yet he couldn’t recall what it was.
Amid his distress, his phone vibrated, bringing Chu Mo back to reality. He took his phone out of his pocket; it was a WeChat ssage from Miss Lu’s family.
“You forgot your painting at the booth, do you want to send it to you?”
It was then that he suddenly rembered what he had forgotten.
The painting that he had just purchased from Grandpa Lu for five hundred million had been left in the bar booth. He was on his way to take care of important matters and couldn’t be bothered to turn back, so he drafted a quick ssage and sent it over.
“Just leave it at the bar, please look after it for . I’ll have soone pick it up tomorrow.”
When he received another ssage, Chu Mo glanced at it before putting his phone away.
The Rolls-Royce cruised leisurely along the brightly lit thoroughfare followed by a Bentley, the detective agency’s Cayenne, and several other cars worth around a million each. The Bentley and the Cayenne were carrying a few bodyguards, while the rest obviously contained the dozen or so lawyers.
In the anti, Chu Mo found a mont to call Zhang Dahua, the richest man, telling him he was on his way to Tianxiangyuan and to have his lawyers ready to sign the contract tonight.
The voice on the other end, eager to sell Tianxiang Garden and in need of funds to invest elsewhere, didn’t delay and imdiately agreed.
After Chu Mo hung up the phone, it was not long before the motorcade stopped in front of Tianxiangyuan International Hotel.
Tianxiangyuan was already within Chu Mo’s planned field of operation, not far from Bafang International and Financial Building, which he had passed by several tis on his way to Bafang International.
The Phantom smoothly ca to a halt, and Danny, sitting in the front, imdiately got out of the car and respectfully opened the door for Chu Mo.
Behind him, six tall bodyguards over two ters in height quickly gathered around for security, and a group of distinctly elite lawyers waited patiently to one side.
As Chu Mo stepped out of the car, hotel managent promptly stepped forward to greet him.
As the only seven-star super hotel in Magic City, Tianxiangyuan played host only to the very top echelons of society; given Chu Mo’s entourage, the middle-aged man greeting him already bowed his head as low as his chest and respectfully said:
“Distinguished guest, our hotel is hosting a charity gala tonight and is not open to the public. May I ask if you have an invitation letter?”
Chu Mo frowned, but before he could speak, a tall and robust middle-aged man ca out from the hotel’s front door. It was Fan Gao, the general manager of Fan’s security company.
The man quickly ca up to Chu Mo and said respectfully:
