After struggling to explain everything to King Vogir—who eventually managed to return to his true self with a focused mind—the King appeared to be thinking hard. His face didn’t show anger, but it was tense; his jaw tightened and his eyebrows furrowed. Then, he observed Eva, who was sitting cross-legged on his massive bed.

"I understand. Thank you for helping and this kingdom," Vogir said, bowing his head before Eva.

"You’re welco, Your Majesty," Eva replied.

Vogir turned to look at Kresus and Lesnar standing beside his bed, then he tried to stand up. Kresus and Lesnar helped him until Vogir was finally standing on his own. After that, Vogir looked at Kresus and Lesnar.

"Kresus, send our people to the Grimgrath royal palace to invite King Murmic to discuss peace diplomacy. I am sure he will understand; the problems in the world are far greater than the dispute between dwarves and giants," Vogir said.

"Regarding that, Your Majesty—right now Ard and Hardim, King Murmic’s brother, are heading to the dwarf front lines to ask them to send a ssenger to King Murmic to inform him of everything," Eva interrupted.

"Hmm... good. But to be more convincing and to show our seriousness, the Tartagia Kingdom will still send its own envoy to et King Murmic," Vogir said.

"Understood, Your Majesty. I will send my people there imdiately," Kresus said.

"Alright. Now, take to your house. I want to see the condition of my daughter," Vogir replied.

"But... are you alright? Is everything okay, Your Majesty?" Kresus asked worriedly.

"It’s fine. I’m alright. For 50 years I haven’t moved and was being controlled; it’s high ti I move and get out," Vogir answered firmly and confidently.

Hearing Vogir’s words and seeing the firm look in his eyes, Kresus and Lesnar’s faces brightened, smiles finally gracing their features. The powerful and wise King they once knew had returned and was truly himself again. They both bowed before Vogir.

"Very well, Your Majesty, let us depart," Kresus and Lesnar said.

They left the room with Eva sitting on Kresus’s shoulder. The guards imdiately rushed toward Vogir, but he raised his hand to calm them, telling them there was no need to escort him since he had Kresus and Lesnar. After stepping outside the palace, Vogir seed stunned and stood frozen in place.

He looked at the state of his city, his head turning left and right to take in his surroundings. Eva, Kresus, and Lesnar could understand; it had been a very long ti since Vogir had seen his own city, even though it was now late afternoon approaching evening.

Vogir stepped forward with Kresus by his side, accompanying him in silence like a loyal guard flanking his king. They walked through the city, catching the attention of the citizens who were still going about their day; people stopped to greet Vogir as the group passed them.

Naturally, Vogir greeted the townspeople in return, asking a few important questions which they answered with great enthusiasm. When they finally reached Kresus’s residence, they went straight inside and headed to the room where Grethia lay with Elr beside her.

Upon seeing his daughter’s condition—still unconscious, lying flat on the bed with a peaceful expression—Vogir imdiately sat beside her and stroked her forehead. He held one of her hands and smiled; this ti, his face didn’t look like a king’s at all, but rather like a father finally reuniting with his daughter after a long separation, relieved to see she was safe even if she hadn’t woken up yet.

Then he turned to look at Elr in the next bed and saw Thorena sitting by his side, with Geoffrey standing behind Thorena, resting a hand on her shoulder.

"If only I had accepted Prince Elr’s proposal back then... none of this would have happened," Vogir muttered.

"No, Your Majesty. Even if you had accepted the proposal, Idor would have found another way that would have ended up just like this. Rember, that goddess nad Ophelia is cunning," Eva countered.

"That’s true, Your Majesty. Please, do not bla yourself," Kresus added.

Vogir fell silent for a mont, then he observed Thorena, who was sitting on the bed in front of him. He also turned to see Alicia, Milia, Beatrice, Rosalind, Adeline, Mirea, Claudia, Ainsley, Irina, and Irwin, who had just entered the room. He looked at Eva, Kresus, and Lesnar, who all seed to be watching him. Then his expression returned to how it was before—the face of a king—and he stood up. He glanced at his daughter once more before turning his gaze toward Thorena.

"You... are Princess Thorena of the Grimgrath Kingdom?" Vogir asked firmly.

Thorena turned to look at Vogir. She climbed down from the bed, stood up, and then bowed before the King.

"You are correct, Your Majesty. My na is Thorena Goldshield, the third daughter of King Murmic II Goldshield of the Grimgrath Kingdom," Thorena answered with deep respect.

"Good. It seems we have much to discuss," Vogir said.

"Of course, Your Majesty," Thorena replied.

Eventually, Vogir, Thorena, Eva, Geoffrey, and Kresus left the room to talk in Kresus’s study to discuss what needed to be addressed. Once inside the study, Vogir let out a sigh. He imdiately told Thorena everything that had happened 50 years ago. When Elr and Grethia had co to face him, they had indeed brought the Githiess egg with them. When Vogir asked for ti to think before giving his answer and his blessing, he had invited Elr to stay at the palace for a few days as an honored guest. After that, he rembered nothing more after dinner.

"Is that really how it was, Your Majesty?" Eva asked.

"Correct, that is my last mory before I lost consciousness and woke up just now," Vogir answered.

"Hmm... I see. Actually, brother Elr sent a letter to sister Lugerna and ... in the letter, he said he was staying at an inn because you needed ti to think... perhaps the following day you kicked him out of the palace because you were no longer yourself," Thorena murmured.

"So Elr managed to send a letter... that ans it’s likely true; since I was no longer myself and was possessed by sothing, I could have very well acted that way. But I can assure you all that I had no intention whatsoever of letting Elr, who is the Crown Prince, stay outside the palace. Besides, Elr truly brought the Githiess egg before , and there is no way I would have let him stay at an inn with a treasure that precious. If the egg has disappeared now, it’s highly probable that Elr and my daughter hid it sowhere so it wouldn’t fall into Idor’s hands," Vogir muttered thoughtfully.

"That could be it, Your Majesty. That’s why we have to wait for both of them to wake up, so we can ask them exactly what they experienced 50 years ago," Eva replied thoughtfully.

The room fell silent as everyone beca lost in their own thoughts. Then Vogir turned to look at Kresus.

"Have you searched Idor’s entire residence?" Vogir asked.

"I have ordered my n to inspect it. They haven’t reported back to yet, Your Majesty," Kresus explained.

"Good. Now we wait for the results of the search. We must find that egg imdiately," Vogir replied.

"I understand, Your Majesty," Kresus replied.

Then, the room fell silent again; no one spoke as they once more beca lost in their own thoughts. Suddenly, "bam," the sound of the room’s door swinging open echoed. Everyone imdiately turned to look toward the door, where Lesnar could be seen opening it before Ard and Hardim stepped inside and Lesnar closed it behind them. Upon seeing Vogir sitting there, Ard imdiately bowed in greeting. Hardim, seeing Ard bow, followed suit and offered a greeting as well.

"Greetings, King Vogir," Ard said.

"And... who are you?" Vogir asked while observing Ard.

"My na is Arden Larsen Fredonia, but just call Ard. Surely Eva has told you about . And next to is Hardim Nighthorn, the younger brother of King Murmic II, the ruler of the Grimgrath Kingdom," Ard answered politely.

"Oh... the King’s brother, so that ans your uncle?" Vogir asked Thorena.

"That is correct, Your Majesty," Thorena answered.

"Greetings," Hardim replied briefly, his eyes fixed on the floor, which apparently seed more interesting than the King’s face.

Eva stood up, then approached Ard and invited him to sit beside her, while Hardim also took a seat next to Geoffrey.

"So, what about General Bharlel, Ard?" Eva asked.

"We’ve already sent a letter to King Murmic to explain the current situation, while also requesting a temporary ceasefire. General Bharlel reinforced this by sending his own letter to the King as well," Ard answered.

"Good. It is high ti for giants and dwarves to unite against this global crisis," Vogir said, leaning back in his chair with his four arms folded across his chest.

"Absolutely, Your Majesty. I agree," Thorena added.

Then they returned to their conversation. On this occasion, Ard and Eva once again clearly explained to King Vogir what was happening on the surface and the mission they carried to find the Githiess egg.
