I got a pen and paper, wrote down the things I wanted to tell Jin-Yeok, how worried I was, and asked why he sent a jerk bastard like Kyle to . Hopefully, that gets Kyle in trouble, Keke.

Afterwards, I wrote that he shouldn’t ask about the commission since it’s a surprise. He’ll only ruin the surprise if he asks about it.

That should do it.

I growled at Kyle, baring my teeth even more as I watched him trying to flirt with Jie-Yu.

"Noona, he’s a dangerous man," I said but she was too far gone, deceived by that face and build.

I guess every girl would like to have such a handso guy as a partner.

He might have a shit personality, but who knows? He might be different towards the one he cares about. That is, if he actually develops real feelings towards her and isn’t moving because of the aftermath of his rut.

We talked about what I wanted crafted.

The four brooches, each having a different color.

They already handed him the piece of paper I had left behind, of the things I wanted him to make for when he got here today, and from the looks of it, he could already tell who they were for.

Sapphire for Min-Cheol, Ruby for Seo-Jun, Erald for Jin-Yeok, and a black diamond for Ki-hoon.

We talked in depthwhatout how the ornants of the brooch would look like, since it wouldn’t just have the stones.

At that point, my mind went blank since I had not thought that far and he laughed at .

His laughter annoyed but I sucked it up and asked for his blessed expertise. And then he said,

"Don’t worry, I got this in the bag. It’ll be splendid."

He didn’t tell how he was going to do it but it looked like I didn’t need to worry too much about it.

"How long will it take?" I asked him.

"Well, I have two works I’m currently working on. It should be done in a week so then I can start yours." I nodded, seeing it as reasonable. "So, if I start yours after a week, you’ll have to give one month to complete them."

A month?

Not too long. I guess I can go with it.

"Alright, fine. Once you’re done, let the manager know and I’ll co pick it up." I said but he tilted my head.

"Why not just give your number so I can call you directly?" He asked but that gave silly goosebumps.

I looked at him in horror and he imdiately knew what I was thinking.

"Sorry, but even if you’re an Oga, I don’t do guys." He said, "So, get that thought out of your head."

I sighed in relief. For a mont there, I thought he was trying to hit on .

Phew.

"How could I hit on the boss’s lover anyway? That’s one way to ask for my head to be blown to bits." He said and I went silent.

At least he feared Jin-Yeok. If so, then I don’t think he’s going to beco a problem anyti soon.

"Well, that’s fine, but I don’t want to give you my number so call the manager once it’s ready," I said. "Noona, we’re done here. Let’s leave."

"Ah, that’s..." She looked at Kyle, blushing. "What is it?"

"Sorry, but I want to get to know your Noona a little better so you can leave on your own." He said and I imdiately got irked.

This was the sa guy who claid to be busy. Busy picking up girls, that is.

I looked at Jie-Yu, worried. She knows what she’s getting herself into, right?

I can’t make decisions for her, since she’s not a kid. She’s almost 30 so I’m sure she knows how to differentiate feelings from physical attraction.

And she already saw the kind of person Kyle was. For her to still go with him...

Maybe this was her type.

The walking red flag with personality issues and a hot body.

"Then, I won’t intrude," I said. "But you’ve gotta be careful, Noona. He’s a bad guy."

"Yes, I will." I smiled.

This could be a bad thing, but it could also be a good thing.

"Text every hour." I suddenly said.

"What?"

"Just text every hour. It can be a sticker, or how you’re doing in the anti. Just make sure you text each ti an hour passes. That way, I can be sure he didn’t sell you thuman traffickers."

"Hey! I’m not what bad of a guy."

Who knows?

If he’s involved with Jin-Yeok then he’s definitely not an easy guy.

"Even if you’re, ahem, busy," I rolled my eyes towards Kyle, hoping he knew what I ant, and he did, because he was smirking. "Make sure to text."

Jie-Yu, who also understood, nodded.

It looked like she also had it in mind. She might look like a sheep now, but who knows, she might just be a wolf in sheep’s clothing, waiting for the perfect opportunity to pounce on another wolf, haha.

I brushed her hair gently until I reached her face, caressing as I worried I might be making a mistake.

Gosh, I feel like a mother sending off her daughter with another guy.

"Okay, that’s enough touching," Kyle said and I clicked my tongue.

"You guys haven’t even shared a al yet, so stop acting like she’s yours," I said, glaring at him. "And change out of those clothes. I can’t have Noona be seen with a madman,"

I lectured on and on until it was just left, standing in front of the shop and the two guards that accompanied us, standing in front of the car across .

Now, it was just .

I didn’t think this would happen. But I guess it’ll work out for the better.

I took out my phone and called Ki-hoon,

He answered almost imdiately, having waited for my call impatiently.

"Hyung, let’s go on a date," I said, smiling happily. "I’ll send you my location, so just head there."

"I’ll be there soon." He said and I cut the call.

I put my phone back in my jacket after sharing my live location with him, and wondered what I would do in the anti.

"Let’s... Visit a bookstore."
