The way I saw it, Cha Hyun-woo was more surprised about the way I was dealing compared to Seo-Jun’s unexplainable fever.

I seed like a completely different person, and that caught him off guard, so he forgot how to respond.

Hm, was it too much to ask him to roll up my sleeves? I an, the maids always did it for and it shouldn’t be a big deal. Or maybe he was simply flustered since I was the person he liked.

Wait, I don’t even know if he still likes after all that distance I gave him, so let’s give him more space just to be safe.

"Well, if you can’t then," I was about to take my hand back and maybe try to do it on my own even though it would be ssy, but he caught my hand.

"No," he said. "I... I’ll do it. Sorry for hesitating."

The Cha Hyun-woo who was nonchalant and indifferent to everything, bored and a jerk, only moving for money and never actually concerning himself with anything that wouldn’t profit him... He was helping roll up my sleeves because I asked, and with a flustered expression, too.

It confird that I was still his crush, if not the person he liked.

Sigh. How do I get him to give up his feelings for ?

It was too dangerous for him to even think of looking at with those types of eyes. The Alphas would have him for lunch.

"I’m done with this one." He said and I gave him my second hand.

His palm caressed the surface of my skin as he slid the sleeve up, and while I wanted to overlook it, this was the second ti.

He was definitely doing it on purpose.

Why?

Did he want to feel my skin so much that he was being so weird?

"Master, I’m back." May returned with the bowl of water and a towel.

"Alright, thank you," I said and took the bowl from her.

Cha Hyun-woo stood still for a mont, his eyes on his hands that wouldn’t stop trembling and it irked .

"I don’t think I’ll need any more of your assistance," I said to him. "So can you please wait outside?"

"Alright." He answered right away, as if he expected it but he didn’t move right away.

He stared, curious about what I was going to do so I decided to just ignore him and do what I was going to do.

While it did seem easy, what I was planning to do, when it was actually ti to do it, I felt quite flustered and a bit reluctant.

Should I just leave this to the maids? They would definitely do a good job.

No! I clapped my cheeks. He was mine so I had to be able to do this much.

"What are you doing?" Seo-Jun asked and I looked down at him. "You’re not a caregiver. Get soone else to—"

I quickly shut his complaining lips with mine. Hm, to kiss a sick person, his breath was awful, and his slave tasted a bit weird, but I didn’t stop.

If he wasn’t getting well through normal ans, then I could only think of abnormal ans to help him out.

"You..." He looked at , shocked as I pulled away, wiping my lips as I licked the corner, as if trying to ascertain the taste.

"For a sick person, you sure talk a lot, Seo-Jun," I said. "But how was it? Did the kiss make you feel it’s not worth it to be lying around in bed? I an," I dipped my hands in the bowl of cold water. "...if you keep lying there with no strength, how do you plan to keep teasing like you usually do? I’ll definitely win if you try it now."

I have a feeling Seo-Jun isn’t getting better because he doesn’t want to get better.

You know, like how you tell your brain that the only way I can get better is if I eat good food and you truly get better when you do. Your entire body believes it so that’s how it’s going to be.

I have a feeling Seo-Jun is psychologically delaying his healing.

Why?

I’ll find that out now.

"I feel like I’m going to die," Seo-Jun said. "Ah, I can’t talk anymore. I’ll die if I say one more word."

Hm, is that so?

Well, I don’t think so.

I wrung the cloth till there was only a bit of water left in it and then placed it on his forehead.

"Fuck, that’s cold." He cursed, his body shivering but I laughed.

"Wow, what a miracle. He lives." I said. "Who said they were going to die if they said one more word?"

"Stop teasing and just..."

I kissed his lips once more, silencing him.

Why couldn’t he keep quiet even when he was so sick? He was a chatterbox no matter what. Would they give him an award for this?

Such a useless talent.

I broke the kiss.

"If you keep talking unnecessarily, I’ll keep kissing you like this." I threatened.

On a normal day, it wasn’t much of a threat, and Seo-Jun would definitely do the opposite of what I want him to do, but right now, he’s sick.

And being sick ans everything other than sweets feels like shit in your mouth.

He probably doesn’t want to kiss while his mouth feels that way so this was basically torture.

I picked up the rag. It was hot. Hm, his temperature nearly dried the rag.

I rember when I was suffering from such a high fever. Sigh, mories.

I dipped the cloth in the cold water again and then brought it back to his face, dabbing his forehead, his cheeks, his neck, and then I pulled his shirt down by the neck, dabbing his chest till I had all the sweat soaked up.

If it’s like this, he won’t start sweating out of nowhere, as if he were planning to sweat a bucket.

I should probably take off his clothes since they’re soaked. I thought to myself and turned to May who stood on standby.

"May, get sothing comfortable and light from his wardrobe," I said and she headed my orders right away.

"What are you planning to do this ti?" He asked and the corner of my lips tugged.

"What does it look like I’m doing? I plan to strip you naked,"
