"I wondered why your lips looked so delicious today," Jin-Yeok said and then I noticed on his lip, a giant shade of pink from the lipstick the maids used on had sared on his lips.

"Strawberry," he said and leaned closer again but I threw my face away, covering my mouth. If he kissed any further, he would ruin everything. "Aw, I want more of your lips, Jo-Pil."
"I don’t want to give it," I said, boldly and trembling. If we kept at this, I might be the reason why we arrive later. "Master, let’s just..."
He took my hand and then kissed it.
"I know, I know. It’s just so fun teasing you." He said, and my eyes turned blank, looking at him as if he didn’t rember the stunt he pulled earlier that day, just because it seed fun to tease .
He read my mind and smiled nervously.
"I guess I’ll stop now." He said and I sighed.

"Anyway, what happened to her?" I asked. "The actress."
"You an Eun-Ji? I already paid her and sent her away. "He said and I scowled at him.
"You even call her so casually. How am I sure you two don’t have so sort of past?" I asked, acting the jealous girlfriend and he got rather anxious.
"Nothing like that, Jo-Pil. Please believe . I simply hired her to act."
"I’on know," I narrowed my eyes suspiciously. "You two seed pretty cozy when ’acting’. I get that she’s a professional, but you’re not an actor, so how did you do so well?"
Yes, let’s make him pay for what he did earlier. Let’s be petty.
"Please believe , Jo-Pil. There’s nothing." He said and I turned to look at him, seeing that vulnerable look in his face as if he was going to cry.
His erald eyes were glinting with guilt and anxiety. He didn’t want to go through that again.
Seeing this, I chuckled.
This is probably enough.
"Alright, I believe you." I said and took his hand. "But you really can’t do sothing like that again. You don’t know how horrible it made feel."
"I understand, Jo-Pil. I won’t try it a second ti."
"Ah, just imagine I decided to pull such a stunt with a stranger," I said, yawning and his eyes turned deadly. Ah, that’s right. I don’t even need to say anything.
He would bla the man for charming and then quietly get rid of him, haha.

"Anyway, that’s not going to happen so loosen up that gaze in your eyes. It feels like you’re about to commit murder." I said, chuckling softly.

"Ah, right," I rolled my eyes away, feeling like I just created so trouble for myself.
"And that reminds ," his eyes smiled too, making him look like a fox-eyed male lead. "I should probably keep you close so no one tries to steal you away, haha."
Yup, I definitely created a ss for myself.
And then suddenly, he pulled and pressed my face on his chest.
My eyes widened. My makeup!
"Don’t worry, Jo-Pil." He said, but did he even know what I was scared about? "I funded these products so I know they’re the best." Hm, he does know my worries. "It’s what the ladies use these days and that’s because..."
He released his grip, and I raised my head to look at his chest, but there was not a single stain. Well, not from the makeup, but the lipstick did leave a stain. That was to be expected, naturally but... How did the makeup leave not a single trace in his coat?
"...that’s because it doesn’t stain and is very comfortable on the skin." He finished his statent and I looked up at him.
He could’ve told that sooner. He didn’t need to scare like that.
"How is it?" He asked and I finally picked up the courage to touch my face with my hands. It didn’t stain.
"It’s great," I said. So, it wasn’t just the technology and pharmacology that were advanced. Even costics were this great.
The author sure knew how to make things convenient in this world when he wasn’t planning for to enjoy any of it with a happy heart.

The car screeched softly and then the driver announced,
"Boss, we’ve arrived."
Ah, and that brings to wonder if the people around Jin-Yeok were his Mafia underlings or his underlings in his company.
Aside from the clothing and spa establishnts he owned, he had a big company that was the headquarters. And in Italy, his Mafia base stood tall in the shadows.

The door opened and I looked up to find Jin-Yeok stretching his hand towards and shielding the blind lights behind him. I looked at my side. Wasn’t he seated next to just now?

"Co here, Jo-Pil." He said and that command coated with sweetness got raveling.
I pushed my body out of the car, taking his hand, and my eyes widened as I saw the building we were headed to.
Was it just or did this place look like a freaking castle entrance with red carpets?
On both sides, there were guards stationed in two straight lines, looking imposing and neat.
They stood in front of the red tape that kept the journalists and photographers off the red carpet.
As if this event was ant for celebrities.
Maybe it was, and I just didn’t know what the occasion was, cause anywhere they decided to take was where I’d go.
"Jo-Pil, do you know?" I raised my head to look at him. Through the consistent calling and loud and heavy shutter of caras, I could hear his voice so clearly as if he was speaking directly into my ear.
He looked down at and smiled.
"I’m very happy."
"Why?"
"Because I get to be the first to make a public appearance like this with you." He said and my heart sward with butterflies.
Was that sothing to be happy about?
I don’t know.
My heart wouldn’t calm down either.
What do I say right now?
"I..." I looked up at him but the words refused to co, so instead I smiled at him.
"Shall we head in now?" He asked and I nodded, holding his arms firmly.
