This was my first ti coming to an aquarium.
While I had read a lot about it and seen a few movies featuring aquarium dates, I never thought it would be this exhilarating.
The authors made sure to emphasize how big and special an aquarium felt and how much impact it had on the date, so I just thought it was their own preference, but being here... I finally understood what they were trying to prove.
The dark interior that made it seem like it was suddenly night, huge, tall cylinder glasses that reached the ceiling, fish and other species that lived in the water moving around like it was their natural habitat, the feeling it gave... It was all so new and each ti, I had my heart thumping in excitent as I watched the little friendly octopus sucking on the spot I placed my hand on.
It was like magic, and my eyes wouldn’t stop sparkling.
Had I ever done anything this exciting? I doubt it.
I don’t regret it, but I led a boring and simple life in the other world, and my life in this novel... Well, let’s say it was like an action movie starring on the run.
While it did make my heart race, it was due to fear and panic. The feeling didn’t co to this at all.
I loved this.
While I was dwelling in my excitent, Seo-Jun watched . Certainly, he had no idea I would love the aquarium this much but seeing this... Seeing how my eyes wouldn’t stop twinkling, he felt so proud that he couldn’t tear his eyes away from .
He needed to keep his eyes on , nonetheless. Couldn’t afford to lose in the crowd that slowly moved from one of the huge glass cylinders to the square ones.
We were holding hands, but even with that, he didn’t take his eyes off.
I felt his gaze once I had cald down a bit from gazing at the fish, and then I felt my heart thump in so other exciting form.
I said a bunch of stuff I didn’t plan in the car. Let’s say I was just following my instincts and acting on the heat of the mont but still... I felt like I had committed myself to Seo-Jun due to his reaction to my words.
He won’t think that way, will he?
I already made it clear to him that I wanted to treat all my masters equally, so he shouldn’t assu that I’m giving him preferential treatnt, no matter what I do.
’Okay, let’s calm down.’ I thought, my other hand on my chest as my heart beat accelerated and my face got warm. ’He won’t stop staring, and I feel he’ll try to tease if I ask about it, so I’ll just act as if I don’t know about it.’
That was the conclusion I ca to, and I was ready to move on to the next fish container, the one that had the bigger fishes, when Seo-Jun suddenly pulled closer.
"Wait a sec," he said and reached his hand towards my face to swipe my hair back.
"Is... Is there sothing on my face?" I asked, a pretty cliche move if you ask .
I was sure there was nothing on my face but for him to suddenly do that, I wondered and asked, only to be slamd with one of his lines.
"Yes," he said, and thank God for the nose mask he was wearing because I could’ve sworn he was grinning. "Your beauty."
My head nearly exploded on hearing that.
Why was he such a...?
My heart was racing and my face, red.
Seeing my reaction, he laughed.
I must’ve looked funny to him.
Or maybe I simply looked adorable because the eyes he was giving were ones that I could not fathom.
"You’re beautiful, Jo-Pil." He said it straight this ti and I threw my gaze away.
Okay, I forgive you this ti.
My face and ears were red.
I would forgive him for teasing since he said the words that could soothe down.
Of course, I know I’m beautiful, but for Seo-Jun to complint soone other than himself, he was giving it his best, I could tell.
I rember the only tis Seo-Jun complinted soone were when he was ready to make a claim to their bodies or in the middle of sex where he used these words,
’Fuck, you’re so hot.’ or ’You’ve got an amazing body.’ All, while making a ss of their insides.
I shivered.
Let’s not think of that.
This was a peaceful and friendly date with no sexual plans attached.
I slowly rolled my eyes towards him.
He didn’t try to make look at him even after I threw my gaze away at his complint and patiently waited till I was ready to et his eyes.
And once I did... He smiled.
I could see the smile through his eyes.
"Did you think I was joking?" He asked but I shook my head, my lips slightly twisting together.
"N-no. But... It just took by surprise." I said and looked away again. "So, my heart can’t really take it."
Seo-Jun paused, staring at as I confessed this.
I don’t know what he was thinking because I couldn’t see his face while looking away but I could still feel his gaze on .
His shocked gaze?
I was confused.
Just what was he thinking about that his gaze was rather stagnant than normal?
I wanted to turn my head and et his eyes, see if I could read a thing or two but as soon as I turned my head, my lips t his.
Mind you, it’s not a coincidence. I’m not that tall, rember?
Seo-Jun, who had been surprised to hear that my heart couldn’t take his complint, felt his own heart thump.
It was a new feeling. A feeling he didn’t understand but enjoyed so he did what that feeling wanted and pulled his nose mask down, going straight for my lips.
How was that different from his high sexual drive?
Anyway, he went for my lips and kissed them softly, not minding that there could be people watching us.
And I... I couldn’t even think about anything because at that mont, it felt like my brain had lted.
