"Well, if we can’t bring you to the water," Jin-Yeok said, his lips curled up in a nice smile. "Then we can always bring the water to you."
"Wait, what did that an?" I asked but no one answered .
It looked like they had so sort of plan I wasn’t aware of.
"That could work." Min-Cheol agreed.
Wait, just what were they talking about? Why was I the only one left outside the loop?
"Hyung, then let’s go over there." Ki-hoon said, offering his hand. Ah, even he knew what they were talking about. "It wouldn’t be nice if we got all the fun while you watched. Especially on a hot day like this."
"But... What are you talking about?" I asked but they grinned.
Jeez, what’s with the secret?
I’ll still find out once I go there but the curiosity was killing .
"Have you ever gone to a shooting range before?" Ki-hoon asked.
"Uh," I did shoot a lot during my military service back in the other world, I think. My mory doesn’t do good. But in this world... "I’ve been on the run for a long ti and the rest of my mories are in shambles. So, I wonder. Have I ever?"
"Sorry," he apologized.
I didn’t an to sound sarcastic but it might’ve sounded like that on the outside.
I laughed.
"It’s fine. Anyway, what does that have to do with...?" My eyes widened as I saw the maids bringing in colorful water guns.
Ah, so this was what they were talking about?
If it was this, why did they have to start speaking in riddles?
"Will you play?" Jin-Yeok asked, taking up one of the guns.
"Will I? Is that even a question?" I was about to go pick one when he suddenly turned on .
I quickly raised my hands in defense.
"Woo, officer. I’m unard." I imdiately declared, playing my part perfectly and the others watched.
Jin-Yeok probably didn’t expect that reaction from but all the more fun.
He grinned.
"It doesn’t matter if you’re unard, I see the goods." He said.
"Goods? What are you talking about? My hands are in the air and I have no pockets. You can search if you want." I said and gulped.
This was exciting. This sort of role play... Who knew it had such a thrilling vibe?
"Ah, I don’t need to search for the goods," he said, taking steps closer. "I already see them."
"Hm?" He stood in front of , the tip of the gun pressed to my chest as he grinned. "It’s all here. Hwang Jo-Pil, you’re under arrest for being Beautiful."
What?
"Anything you say or do will be used against you in the court of..." He paused and turned to the others. "What court should I use?"
I was taken aback by the charges but used this as an opportunity to take advantage of his distraction.
But who was I kidding?
I was up against a skilled gunman. Soone who’s killed thousands of people.
But since we were role-playing, he just might let loose, right?
I snatched the gun and he let go. Thankfully, we were still playing and he wasn’t using his ’experience’ against .
"Ah, I have the gun now. Even if you have evidence, there’s nothing you can do against ." I said, watching him as he raised his hands in the air with a smile on his lips.
Seriously, who smiles in a situation like that?
"Oh really?" He asked.
Hm, that was suspicious.
"Think again."
And before I could understand why he was on about, a hand wrapped around my neck and a gun was pointed at my side.
"Gotcha." It was Min-Cheol.
Ah, when did he even get behind ? He would do well as a sneaky thief.
"You think you could escape? You’re going to be trailed for being so beautiful, Hyung."
"Hey, you’re role playing, don’t call the criminal like you’re close." Seo-Jun yelled.
"Ah, right." Michael said and then cleared his throat. "You’re going nowhere but jail, criminal."
Fufu, isn’t that cute?
"This isn’t fair. I... I want to call my lawyer." I cried out.
"You don’t get a lawyer." Jin-Yeok said. "In fact, I saw your cri is so great that you should be executed right away."
And what was my cri again?
Ah, yes. I was being convicted for being too pretty with a beautiful body.
Jin-Yeok raised his gun.
"I shall execute you right away." He said and I gulped, pleading for my life.
"Please, no. I... I’ll do anything." I said. "I’ll even share my secret with you so please, spare ."
But they were adamant and were going to shoot when my ’partner’ ca to my rescue.
Seo-Jun shot his own water gun and got Jin-Yeok in the gut.
"I’m here to save you, mate." He said, grinning.
I swear, that role of a hooligan and an outlaw fit him like he was born for it.
"Ah, another one." Min-Cheol exclaid. "You law breakers... I’ll have to hold on until reinforcent cos."
And reinforcent was definitely Ki-hoon but for so reason, Ki-hoon had been so imrsed in the entire act that he forgot he had to play a role sowhere.
Sure, we didn’t plan this but it was fun how innovative we were.
This was a hundred tis better than sitting under an umbrella and watching them swim.
I love that they were so considerate of and didn’t want to feel left out.
I love that they, despite not being perfect, were trying their best.
Seo-Jun was doing more than I expected as well so I thought this day was actually fun.
"This is a robbery." Ki-hoon suddenly yelled, spraying his gun in the air, and I swear, I nearly laughed my gut out when he did that.
He was so abstract.
Why would he think of suddenly conducting a robbery in the middle of an arrest and execution?
He was so bizarre and...
"Wbh!" I got water splattered on my face and then blinked, surprised.
That got good.
Ki-hoon was behind that act and he smiled at .
Seeing his smile, I smiled back.
He was so sweet.
