Ki-hoon mustn’t have expected Jin-Yeok to actually get a turn with . But as much as he was jealous, he was relieved that it wasn’t sothing that was done against my will.
"So, how was work?" I asked, happy about the fact that I seed taller than him for the first ti and I had him resting on this ti and not resting on him.
"It was fine, but I wish I’d stayed ho instead." He said and I laughed. "I missed you, Jo-Pil." He said.
He sounded like we hadn’t seen each other for weeks and we saw each other that morning before he left.
They were already working on their corporation so they were both busy, Ki-hoon and Min-Cheol. And so, I expected them to return ho late but look at this, Ki-hoon was back early.
"I missed you too, Hyung." I said, hugging him warmly.
The next day was Sunday, so they could rest and since I was fine now, Min-Cheol could teach the sports like we decided on.
We were starting with basketball and while I wasn’t a fan of basketball, I wasn’t even tall, I was looking forward to it.
’I’ll probably watch my masters play like real professionals, right?’ I giggled.
"What’s so funny?" Ki-hoon asked.
"Oh, it’s nothing major. Do you know how to play basketball?" I asked him.
"Oh, is this about the basketball court Min-Cheol is building?" He asked and I nodded.
It was under construction, but I’m pretty sure it should be done by now, since Min-Cheol only let know that he decided to build a basketball court as well as other sport-related floors while I was recovering from my burn.
"Yes, I can play." He said. "Do you want to watch play?"
Do I? I’ll prepare my popcorn and my glow stick, ah no. It’ll be in the day so glow sticks won’t work. Then, I’ll get my pompoms, haha.
Now I should probably co up with a sche to get you all to play together tomorrow.
I don’t consider myself a sports person but this is exciting.
"Does it excite you that much?" Ki-hoon asked as he watched the big grin on my lips and then kissed my cheeks.
I smiled.
"Yeah, I’m looking forward to it."
Knowing I was looking forward to it gave Ki-hoon the boost to do very well in the ga. He wanted to impress .
During dinner, I ate a double portion of what I regularly eat. It’s probably thanks to skipping lunch. And during dessert, I brought it up.
"Do any of you have plans tomorrow?" I asked. They were already looking at as I ate my ice cream so I had their attention.
"What’s the occasion?" Jin-Yeok asked.
"We have to check out the court tomorrow, Hyung." Min-Cheol said.
"Well, yes." I said. "That’s what I wanna talk about. It’s finished now, right?"
"Yes, it is." Min-Cheol answered, trying to figure out what I was planning.
Well, he didn’t need to keep wondering because I was going to say it right away.
"Then can you all play basketball?" I asked, smiling widely. "It’ll be very fun to watch."
"You want to watch us play basketball?" Seo-Jun asked and I nodded my head like an excited puppy.
This discussion did not take long since they weren’t busy and decided to play and entertain . Though, I didn’t exactly say I was doing this for my own entertainnt, anyone would know from the wide grin on my lips that that was what I was looking forward to.
"Fine, Hyung. Let’s do that." Min-Cheol said, happy about the idea.
Though I was sure he was excited to have the day with while he taught sports but he must’ve realized it wouldn’t be fun to teach sothing like basketball if it was just him.
If there were others to contend with him then it would make the lessons faster and easier to understand.
And even if I don’t get the hang of it, this was practically a chance for him to show off his superiority when it ca to sports.
"Then, Hyung, will you be the referee?" He asked. "You don’t have to do anything but blow the whistle when you sense foul play." He suddenly suggested and my eyes lit up.
"Yes please."
I guess no pompoms. But whoever said the referee doesn’t hold pompoms? I’ll be the whistle-blowing cheerleader, haha.
"Your ice cream is lting," Ki-hoon said and I snapped out of it. I couldn’t let my precious ice cream lt away.
I began to scoop up the lted part of the ice cream and sipped it from my spoon. But as I did this, I noticed Seo-Jun’s eyes on .
He had his elbow on the table and dropped his chin on his arm, watching out in broad daylight and not even trying to mask his interest.
Though, the expression on his face didn’t hint at anything as he looked rather curious than anything else.
His eyes t mine but he did not look away. Rather, he smirked and I was the one who ended up looking away, suddenly embarrassed.
What was going through that thick skull of his?
He wasn’t teasing in his mind, was he?
I ended up thinking about how he asked out and my cheeks burned. I didn’t feel it then but I was feeling it now.
Gosh, I have been single all my life so don’t bla for suddenly blushing at the mory of the most unpredictable character asking out on a date.
Seriously, even Min-Cheol was not that straightforward.
"What’s wrong with your face, Jo-Pil?" Jin-Yeok asked since he was equally watching , they all were, as if I were so sort of showpiece.
I shook my head and darted my eyes downwards a bit.
"It’s nothing." I said, but just saying that wouldn’t convince soone like Jin-Yeok. "I just recalled a random mory."
As soon as I said that, his lips twisted a bit and then ford a grin.
"Is that so?" He asked and I raised my gaze to see that knowing grin on his lips. "I see."
What was with him? What mory does he think I suddenly rec--?
My thoughts froze for a mont as I realized that I had done sothing like ’that’ with him and he could easily misunderstand that the mory I recalled was ’that’.
My face burned even more.
This was even more embarrassing.
"Jo-Pil?"
My reaction got them on high alert, but the one enjoying this situation was Jin-Yeok, who had caused it.
"I’m fine, I just..." I couldn’t even et any of their eyes. I was too embarrassed. I pushed my chair back and got up. "I think I’ll go to bed now. Good night." I said and ran away.
They watched run, and I have to admit, I looked like a mouse that had just stolen a piece of cheese. Funny to watch and very quick on my feet.
It made them laugh, rather than stare in worry and I thought they were laughing at how silly I looked. Well, that was why they were laughing but still.
"I wonder what got Hyung rushing off," Min-Cheol asked out loud, clearing his throat to stop his laughter.
"Who knows?" Ki-hoon answered.
Seo-Jun got up first and said,
"Well, I don’t want to keep seeing your faces so I’ll leave first." He said, tucking his hands in his pocket. "Oh and..." He grinned with a mocking gaze as he added, "...you guys better watch out cause I’m so gonna kick your asses."
I rushed off to my room and then dove into my bed.
My own thoughts were making embarrassed and causing to do a bunch of crazy stuff.
It made my face flush, my heart thump and my lips quiver. I wasn’t even excited, yet I was feeling this way.
I definitely needed help sowhere.
*Knock knock.*
Hm, that’s odd. They don’t usually knock on the door. Was it the maids?
The only ones I could think of that would knock and wait for my response before entering were the maids and even they didn’t do that often.
"Who is it?" I asked as I got down from the bed and headed for the door.
As soon as I opened the door, I ca face to face with a pink teddy that was fatter than , apparently, staring at with its beady eyes that mocked for my skinny nature.
Welp, I was exaggerating it quite a lot but I couldn’t help it. I felt the teddy was there to mock .
But that aside... My heart thumped in excitent... It was very cute and I was tempted to cuddle it.
Before I did, though, the one holding the teddy, moved his head to the side so I could see his face and smiled at .
"Surprise." He said. "Do you like teddies?"
