Transmigration: The Main Character is Not Becoming the Cannon Fodder! Chapter 572 - 10: First Hints (10)
Yang Ting actually didn’t say much. The man had gotten quite familiar with them, but it was always Jingjing who invited him to eat with them and such.
Sotis Yang Ting wondered, could it be that her sister liked this man?
So Yang Ting didn’t say anything, but quietly observed. This man didn’t seem to be a bad person after all.
The first day they had a wild ti, and both of them slept quite well that night.
The next day, when they went out, ng Jingjing specifically called Brother Yang to co along.
In the na of having a male accompany two won, it would be safer.
Yang Ting didn’t object, and the three had another day of wild fun.
After coming back, ng Jingjing just lay there, unwilling to move.
"Sister, can you buy the cold noodles we had yesterday? I really can’t move, please, sister."
Yang Ting smiled and tapped ng Jingjing’s forehead: "Then rest a bit; I’ll go buy it for you."
"Mmm, mmm, thanks, sister."
Yang Ting went downstairs alone to a nearby place that specializes in selling cold noodles, bought two portions, having had them yesterday and they tasted quite good.
She also bought two servings of mung bean soup and returned to their room.
They had booked a suite-style room, with a shared living room and separate bedrooms, each with an ensuite bathroom.
When Yang Ting returned, she called out in the living room but found ng Jingjing didn’t respond – too tired and fell asleep?
Yang Ting opened ng Jingjing’s room, about to call her, but she saw a man inside. It seed he had just showered, now wrapped in a towel, drying his hair. Yang Ting had fully opened the door, which made the situation sowhat awkward.
Yang Ting was about to leave and close the door when the main door suddenly opened.
She heard ng Jingjing’s chirping voice: "Brother-in-law, how co you’re here? Are you surprising my sister?"
Yang Ting saw Yun Zixin, stunned for a mont, then instinctively glanced towards the room, where the man appeared perplexed and, upon hearing ng Jingjing’s voice, stepped out.
When Yun Zixin entered, he saw a man wrapped in a towel standing beside his wife, his expression changing slightly.
ng Jingjing seed taken aback too.
She quickly rushed over, grabbed the man, and brought him into the room, then ca back out.
"Sister, I was worried about you going to buy food alone, so I went downstairs to find you and happened to run into brother-in-law. Brother Yang, it’s his bathroom that’s leaking, spraying water all over the room. The hotel is handling it, but Brother Yang was all wet, and I happened to see him as I was going out and let him use my room to shower."
"Brother-in-law, please don’t misunderstand, this room is mine."
Yun Zixin’s face looked somber, but he said nothing.
Yang Ting didn’t think much of it, just oddly glanced at ng Jingjing and Yun Zixin.
After that, Yun Zixin stayed with them, but even Yang Ting, as oblivious as she was, sensed sothing was off with Yun Zixin.
Weren’t they supposed to be relaxed while out on a trip?
Yet her husband wasn’t being affectionate with her at this picturesque place?
And barely spoke, which made Yang Ting anxious, but she didn’t know what was going on.
After Yun Zixin arrived, Brother Yang disappeared.
Naturally, Yun Zixin’s face grew darker.
They stayed for another two days and then returned to the Capital City directly.
Shortly after they returned to the Capital City, ng Chang and his wife also ca back, and ng Jingjing left.
During the days ng Jingjing stayed at the Yun Family’s place, the relationship between Yun Zixin and Yang Ting dropped to freezing point.
Yang Ting was completely confused; what was going on?
Was it all because of a man, a man in ng Jingjing’s room, causing her husband to suspect her?
Yang Ting didn’t feel good at all.
Yet ng Jingjing left feeling satisfied.
Her initial goal was sowhat achieved.
After ng Jingjing left, Yun Zixin entered their bedroom.
Yang Ting, having seen ng Jingjing off, returned to her room alone, curled up on the sofa, hugging herself, feeling extrely tired and with a heart full of pain.
In Yun Zixin’s eyes was a flash of pity.
He walked over, sat on the sofa, and held Yang Ting.
Kissed Yang Ting’s temple: "Tingting, I’m sorry for neglecting you on purpose these past few days."
Yang Ting looked at Yun Zixin with wide eyes.
Yun Zixin smiled bitterly.
He thought for a mont, turned on the TV, fiddled with his phone, and a video started playing.
Yang Ting watched the TV, feeling baffled.
What was this video for? It seed to be in the hotel.
The next mont, Yang Ting’s eyes widened.
She saw herself coming out and stopping at a room door, where a man pulled her directly into a room.
The man’s face wasn’t clear, but Yang Ting felt an inexplicable familiarity.
Then Yang Ting saw soone sneakily taking photos, followed by her parents’ arrival and Yun Zixin’s arrival.
Then she was brought out. A long ti later, the man also ca out.
At this point, Yang Ting was able to clearly see the man’s face.
Wasn’t this the Brother Yang?
What was going on?
Yang Ting wasn’t dim; upon thinking about it, she managed to piece things together.
But realizing this, she started trembling.
Could there actually be people like that in the world?
She had genuinely treated ng Jingjing as her sister.
And what did ng Jingjing consider her?
She deliberately led her to know this "Brother Yang," probably with ulterior motives?
To speak on it, that night drunk, she didn’t even see the face of the man with her.
So without today’s video, she would have remained in the dark?
And then ng Jingjing could wantonly use her?
No wonder Yun Zixin had previously asked if she trusted her sister; how naively she had answered?
Yun Zixin took out a laptop, opened his email.
Then in the email were nurous photos Yang Ting saw.
Photos of her and ng Jingjing going out to eat and eting the man.
Yun Zixin got a phone out again.
On it were anonymous texts accusing Yang Ting of cheating, ssing around with a wild man, and using her sister as a shield.
Yang Ting felt dizzy.
If these incidents were connected, wouldn’t a man think sothing of it?
She looked at Yun Zixin, her lips trembling, taking a long ti to find her voice: "Brother Xin, I didn’t, I don’t know that man..."
Yang Ting felt the words in her mouth were dry; if positions were switched, would she believe him?
Yun Zixin suddenly laughed: "Silly girl, if I didn’t believe you, why would I show you these? I had already warned you before to be more cautious. Then what did you do? You turned around and forgot. Tingting, not every ti will we be this fortunate. If ng Jingjing’s tactics were a bit harsher, do you think it would end like this?"
