With a sudden "pop," a very uniquely styled fishing net choker appeared around Xia Hen’s neck.

"Waa waa!"

Before Xia Hen could react, a little girl’s earth-shattering cries erupted from behind him.

Xia Hen broke out in goosebumps; his greatest fear in life was won, especially dirty won.

A woman crying? That had to be a woman covered in tears and snot, the dirtiest kind!

Xia Hen shuddered and didn’t even bother with the wine jug in his hand as he raised his foot, ready to run away.

However, the fishing net choker around his neck was incredibly strong, and he couldn’t move at all.

In his frustration, the woman’s cries reached his ears: "Ahhh, my butterfly, my butterfly! My net, my net, it’s broken!"

Xia Hen twitched his mouth. So this girl mistook him for a butterfly and caught him!

The net wasn’t small; it actually went through Xia Hen’s head and landed on his neck. However, due to the girl’s imnse strength, the net broke, looping around Xia Hen’s neck like a choker.

"Wow, just how big is this woman to have such strength!"

Desperate to escape, Xia Hen couldn’t break free. The woman gripping the net must be a tall, massive, chubby figure.

But when he turned around to see the girl before him, his eyes nearly popped out of his head in shock!

Where was the tall, massive chubby figure?

Before him was a frail little girl, only four or five years old!

But how could such a frail little girl hold onto this net so tightly?

Cough, cough.

Clearing his throat, Xia Hen glanced around. Not wanting to be disturbed, he had stolen so wine from town and ventured to this desolate spot to enjoy it alone.

Who would have thought such a desolate place would have a little girl appear?

This area didn’t seem inhabited at all. Could this girl be a mountain ghost or a little monster?

Thinking about how this tiny girl had unexpected strength, Xia Hen beca more convinced he’d encountered a supernatural being!

Encountering a supernatural being isn’t to be handled with force but with wit. Yes, wit!

"Hey, little girl, don’t cry. I’ll help you catch butterflies, alright?"

The little girl said nothing and continued to cry loudly with her hands over her eyes.

"Oh dear, why don’t you take a look at this good stuff in my hand? Wanna have a sip? It’s really tasty, you know. I can’t bear to part with it!"

The little girl parted her fingers slightly, her eyes darting at the wine jar, her little nose twitching before crying even harder.

Xia Hen scratched his head in distress: "Hey, little girl, didn’t you want a butterfly? Actually, you caught one! I’ll tell you a secret; big brother here is actually a butterfly spirit!"

Butterfly spirit? What’s that?

The little girl stopped crying, her big eyes curiously fixed on the man before her. Suddenly, she swallowed with a "gulp."

Hiss!

Sucking in a breath, Xia Hen’s hair stood on end!

Swallowing? Swallowing saliva! This little girl really is a monster, she wants to eat people!

"Ahhh!"

Terrified, Xia Hen let out a loud whine: "Mother, your child is unfilial, your child is about to be eaten by a monster!"

"Mother, father, I haven’t even t my little sister! Waaa!"

Seeing the sobbing, snotty man before her, the little girl suddenly clapped her hands in amusent: "Haha, cry-cry, big brother cry-cry, embarrassing, embarrassing!"

Seventeen or eighteen years old and crying in front of a little girl, how embarrassing!

"You’re about to eat and you still won’t let cry, what kind of overbearing monster are you!"

Although small, the girl had been told stories since childhood by her mother about monsters eating people. Hearing this, she waved her small hands in explanation: "No, no, Min Min is not a monster, Min Min doesn’t eat people!"

Min Min?

"Do monsters have nas too? Min Min, sounds quite nice!"

Wiping away a tear, Xia Hen suddenly paused. She said she’s not a monster? And doesn’t eat people?

Could it be...

Narrowing his eyes, Xia Hen just then noticed the little girl’s hands had completely released the net.
