Therefore, Lin Yuan insisted on finding soone of a noble status to act as the matchmaker.

However, she couldn’t personally step forward to do this matchmaking, which was truly troubling.

Tian Xuan and Cheng Haoxuan discussed the issue of the forr and found no suitable solution, and they sohow segued into the topic of the opening of Idle Tea House.

Gazing through the open door, Tian Hui saw Madam Ming busily supervising Xiao Huan and a few other young ladies, and she couldn’t help but smile: "This Madam Ming is really impressive. I never expected that during the days I was away, you would actually entrust her with running the tea house."

Tian Hui initially didn’t feel assured about handing over the business to Madam Ming, simply because of her background. Thinking of this, she couldn’t resist asking Lin Yuan with curiosity about Madam Ming.

Lin Yuan smiled faintly, glanced around to ensure no one else was there, and then lowered her voice to share the information Xia Zheng had helped her obtain.

"As it turns out, Madam Ming’s family also used to run a tea house, just not in the Capital City. Later, when soone coveted her family’s property, they used despicable ans to sabotage Madam Ming’s family business. So..."

So, Madam Ming brought her entire family to an estate outside the city, hoping to make a coback.

But regrettably, Madam Ming’s husband had lost all his fighting spirit. Not to say anything about making a coback, even his morale had been deeply shaken, which caused her endless worry.

When Lin Yuan thought about the complex situation in Madam Ming’s family, she couldn’t help but sigh, "Speaking of which, Madam Ming’s life is quite hard. When her husband was in his pri, she had to take care of a domineering and unruly mother-in-law. After her husband fell, she had to take out her dowry to feed the whole family."

A whole family?

Tian Hui’s heart chilled, and her first reaction was that Madam Ming’s family must have several useless Little Concubines and a bunch of Concubine’s Sons and daughters, just like the Tian family.

However, before she could ask, Lin Yuan had already changed the subject.

"By the way, Sister Hui, about those girls who can play music, I’ve heard their performance before. Since I’m not well-versed in this, could you perhaps take another look at them?"

Upon hearing Lin Yuan’s suggestion, Tian Hui smiled apologetically, apologized to her, and then said, "Those girls are skilled indeed. I was pretty torn when I selected them. The ones that stayed have excellent foundations. I believe with the training over the past few days, their skills will surely have improved."

Implicitly, there was no need for another assessnt.

Lin Yuan expected this result. After all, Tian Hui had chosen them carefully and would definitely have inford her if there were any issues.

After talking for a while longer, Tian Hui had to hurry back. Princess Anle had been constantly discussing the matters of a royal marriage with Empress Su and Consort Shu in the palace, so much so that she couldn’t even manage the affairs of General Mansion. "Ah, speaking of which, that Crown Prince of Xiliang is really sothing. Although he didn’t explicitly say it, his words seed to imply that he wants to marry a true princess for the royal alliance. This has really distressed a few in the palace."

Tian Hui couldn’t help but complain to Lin Yuan before she left.

Upon hearing this, Lin Yuan was startled. Right now, the only eligible unwed princess in the palace was Eldest Princess Cuiwei. Could it be that the Crown Prince of Xiliang really intended to let a prince who wasn’t favored to marry the Legitimate Eldest Princess of Dayong? That wouldn’t bode well for his future path!

Tian Hui had barely left when Cheng Haoxuan ca downstairs from the second floor, greeted Lin Yuan, and departed in a rush.

Seeing his anxious manner, Lin Yuan beca sowhat worried. After so thought, she decided to have Lin Yi follow him discreetly, just in case he did sothing inappropriate.

Just as Lin Yuan anticipated, Cheng Haoxuan didn’t return to Red Smoke Pavilion after leaving Idle Tea House. Instead, he went the opposite direction and arrived at the entrance of Huang Jiashan’s residence.

Looking at the lofty gate plaque of the Huang family, Cheng Haoxuan seed to think of sothing, then he scoffed contemptuously, pulled sothing out of his bosom, and went forward to knock on the door.

The young servant at the gate was montarily stunned upon seeing the wooden token Cheng Haoxuan presented, as if it took him a long ti to recall an important matter. Every gatekeeper at the Huang family was tasked with an imperative to always keep in mind, an obligation that seed to have beco the collective duty of generations of servants.

"Please wait, young master, I will report to the young master right away," the servant said, holding the token.

With the wooden token in hand, the servant dashed off like a dart.

Cheng Haoxuan snorted, clearly surprised by the servant’s reaction, and muttered to himself, "I didn’t expect that after so many years, the guy actually still rembers!"

It wasn’t clear whether the servant was nimble or Huang Jiashan was true to his word, but Cheng Haoxuan didn’t have to wait long before a tall and stately man appeared at the gate.

The man looked just as Cheng Haoxuan rembered from childhood, only the contours of his face were firr now.

The gatekeeping servant followed behind Huang Jiashan cheerfully, not forgetting the ecstatic look on the young master’s face upon seeing the wooden token. Since the young master had been waiting for so many years, the visitor must be a good friend he hadn’t seen for a long ti. He wondered whether the two would embrace and weep upon eting, or laugh joyously?

However, reality often turns out to be surprising.

While the servant was excitedly guessing, he saw the two previously smiling n suddenly charge at each other at lightning speed, rolling up their sleeves while doing so. Moreover, the well-mannered, benevolent young master seed to let out a muffled "Charge!" The servant staggered back in shock, furiously rubbing his eyes.

Good heavens! Good heavens! Could the young master be possessed by a demon? Was this person really the young master?

When the servant finally ca to his senses, he sat on the ground, shocked.

Before him, two young n around twenty years old, with their sleeves rolled up high, began to fight with bare fists.

One mont one would land a punch on the other’s left cheek, the next a kick to the right leg, even resorting to nose-picking and ear-pulling.

"Ahh ahh ahh!"

When he saw the young master of his household bite the other gentleman on the neck, the servant covered his eyes and fell back to the ground, passing out.

He must be ill, hallucinating. How could such a dignified young master bite soone? And a man at that?

The two fighting, however, paid no heed to the servant’s reaction, nor did they notice the growing crowd of onlookers; their fight had beco so intense that they were inseparable.
