Chapter 802: Chapter 802: Gone Again!

“Have you checked the fifth floor? What about the kitchen?”

“You can’t even watch over two kids, what’s the use of having you around?!”

“Sir, don’t worry, calm down. Check the backyard and the warehouse or sothing.”

“I think it’s best to call the police quickly. Such a big family can’t even take care of the children.”

At dawn, Jiang Yan was awakened by the noise outside.

At first it was just voices, but eventually it turned into an argunt, with people running back and forth, and a clatter coming from several rooms.

He couldn’t take it anymore and finally opened his eyes, seeing it was just after seven in the morning.

He had only slept a little over three hours.

“This is driving crazy, can we not get a break even on the first day of the New Year…?”

He grumbled as he got dressed and walked out, shouting from the stairs.

“Hey, what are you all doing? It’s too noisy! Can’t you see this young master is trying to sleep?!”

The person being shouted at was a young maid, who was startled but quickly turned around to apologize repeatedly.

Seeing her tear-streaked face, Jiang Yan was also taken aback and felt even more irritated.

“I was just saying, why are you crying like that?”

“No, young master.” The maid wiped her tears, “It’s because Fourth Young Master and Fifth Young Master are missing, I got anxious and cried.”

Jiang Yan couldn’t process it, “What Fourth Young Master and Fifth Young Master?”

Weren’t there just the three of them, him, Jiang Shixu, and Jiang Cheng?

But then it clicked for him.

Oh right.

They had picked up Jiang Bufan and Jiang Buchen from the hospital yesterday.

Wait, they’re missing?

Those two little rascals ran off again?!

Jiang Yan was fully awake now, threw on a coat, and went downstairs, only to find he was the last one up.

The whole household was already in chaos.

The old man was still in his pajamas, his face as cold as iron.

“If you can’t even look after two kids, I’ll have Jiang Ye replace them all later; the Jiang Family can’t afford to keep such freeloaders!”

Lin Manru was comforting the old man while instructing others to check around. Even though it was winter, worry had made her break out in a sweat.

“Jiang Ye has gone to check the surveillance, those little kids couldn’t have gone far.”

“They may not have gone far, but aren’t there plenty of bad people in this big city? What if they et one?”

ng Xuezhi yawned and fanned the flas, acting like she was watching the chaos for fun.

It seems sending the two little demons Bufan and Buchen back was the right decision!

Back in the countryside, they caused her to never get a good night’s sleep.

It’s high ti the Jiang Family felt so urgency.

Lin Manru was too anxious to argue with ng Xuezhi and, seeing Jiang Yan co down, pulled him over quickly.

“We’re short-handed at ho now, you go look too, check around nearby with Jiang Cheng.”

Jiang Yan held back his sleepiness, “Okay, Mom, don’t worry, I’ll go look right away.”

How could Lin Manru not be worried?

Just last night, she promised ng Wanzhi she would take good care of the two little ones, and now they were missing first thing in the morning.

If sothing really happened, how would she face Wanzhi and the Mingchuan family!

As Jiang Yan was about to go out, soone hurriedly rushed in.

“What’s the situation, where are Bufan and Buchen???”

Lin Manru was startled to see the suddenly appearing Jiang Mingchuan.

“Why are you back? Weren’t you at the hospital with Wanzhi?”

Jiang Mingchuan gulped down a glass of water from the table, caught his breath, and said, “Don’t even ntion it. Wanzhi was woken by a phone call early in the morning, she’s been distraught and crying ever since. I had no choice but to co back. What’s going on, where are the kids?”

Lin Manru’s face turned pale.

The mont it happened, the old man instructed everyone not to tell Mingchuan and Wanzhi anything until the kids were found.

Wanzhi is already sick; if she gets upset again, it would be even worse.

But the couple still found out.

She and Shen Lan would never say anything, so there was only one possibility left.

Lin Manru glared at ng Xuezhi, both angry and anxious.

“Don’t you care if your sister gets better or not? Why would you tell her about this?”

ng Xuezhi, with bread still in her mouth, didn’t like what she was hearing.

“What do you an? Bufan and Buchen are my sister’s kids, isn’t it right for to tell her if sothing happens? You people are hilarious, losing the kids and then trying to hide from my sister? Is this how you conduct yourselves?!”

Lin Manru, knowing she had no ground to stand on, could only bow her head and let ng Xuezhi speak.

Jiang Zhao Yuan couldn’t stand it any longer.

All these years, he had seen how much Lin Manru worked for the Jiang Family, and he was more than satisfied with this eldest daughter-in-law.

When ng Xuezhi was about to speak again, he stood up.

“Xuezhi, I know you’re worried about your sister, it’s our responsibility for not taking care of Bufan and Buchen. We are trying our best to find them now, but as Wanzhi’s sister, shouldn’t you consider her feelings more at a ti like this? We’re short-handed. If you’re really worried, why not join us in looking for them.”

ng Xuezhi fell silent.

Back in the countryside, she was tornted by those two little demons.

Now, on the first day of the New Year, she hadn’t slept well, hadn’t eaten well, and was being tortured!

Thinking of this, she snorted coldly, “Anyway, you’d better find the kids soon. If you’re so short of people, I’ll call back to the countryside and have my family co over to help.”

Jiang Zhao Yuan’s expression instantly turned cold.

If those people from the in-laws found out, things wouldn’t be as simple.

Mingchuan and Wanzhi’s relationship was already tense; if this gets out of hand, those two kids won’t fare well.

Sure enough, when he looked at Jiang Mingchuan, he saw him standing there, looking weary and anxious.

ng Xuezhi thought she had the Jiang Family under her thumb and beca even more arrogant, taking on an air of superiority…

“I’m telling you now, you should be taking good care of my sister, providing all the best food and drink. Don’t you have plenty of servants at ho? Shouldn’t the hospital hire more caregivers? Our family has been through so much fear because of this, don’t you think it’s ti for you to show proper manners? It’s New Year anyway, I say you should be bringing gifts to properly apologize to my parents. All these grown-ups can’t even look after a couple of kids, how can we trust Wanzhi to you?”

None of the adults spoke, but Jiang Yan couldn’t hold it back anymore.

In his whole life, he had never been scolded like this by an outsider, an old lady!

What nonsense!

Just as he was about to step forward to argue, Jiang Li’s voice suddenly ca from behind…

“I know where Bufan and Buchen are, don’t worry, they haven’t gone far.”

ng Xuezhi, seeing Jiang Li walking over gracefully, beca even more displeased.

Sure enough, the young lady of the house acts like a princess even when everything is in chaos.

“So many people have been searching for half the day and found nothing, and yet with just a word from you, the kids will appear? I say, just call the police right away!”
