Saknu broke into a rogueish, rascally grin.
“Girl, that won’t be up to you!”
Cai Wei nodded, a cold smile dancing on her lips, “Good!
Initially, I had no intention to kill, out of respect for divine grace and rcy.
But it seems, I’ve been too soft-hearted.”
With that, she flung a handful of confusion powder at him.
Against a brutal alien beast like Saknu, Cai Wei planned to knock him out with the drug, then disorient him while he was unconscious, leaving him paralyzed, unable to take care of himself for the rest of his life.
Then she would watch him suffer and regret his actions while he lingered between life and death.

Saknu did not even try to dodge.
He took the punch head-on.
Cai Wei looked up in surprise, unable to believe what she was seeing.
The man wasn’t injured or retreating, floored in agony, or even grunting in pain, like she had anticipated.
He hadn’t even moved an inch.
Instead, he stood there, stock-still, a malevolent grin on his face, looking rather triumphant.
“Your strength is minimal, barely compares to a suckling lamb.”
He sneered, his large hand suddenly grabbing her arm.
With a gentle tug, Cai Wei stumbled and fell towards him.
His strength was astonishing, which was why he was renowned as King Kong of the Liaodan Kingdom.
Cai Wei had exhausted all her strength trying to resist him earlier.
Still, with just one hand, he had managed to pull her easily towards him.
Wholly defeated by this power mismatch, Cai Wei felt humiliated.
Fighting with him was clearly a lost cause; even using the confusion powder had turned futile.
