In a timid and hesitant voice, she struggled to get up to greet him, but unexpectedly pulled at her wound, making her fall down in embarrassnt instead of rising.

Helan Hao flipped his robe and sat down at the side of Zhao Gui’s couch, his profound eyes gazing at her.
At this mont, Zhao Gui lay there pale and wan, her little face still streaked with un-wiped tears, her long hair like black silk in disarray on the pillow, making that pale little face appear all the more pitiable.

Zhao Gui responded softly, lowering her eyelids, her long lashes obscuring her tear-filled eyes. In an instant, two more streaks of tears traced down from beneath those lashes, slipping over her pale face, dropping toward the pillow.
"Do you feel very wronged?" Helan Hao glanced at those glistening tears, his gaze fixed on her pale little face.
Nonsense, if you were tornted like this, wouldn’t you feel wronged?
