31: Chapter 31: It Doesn’t Bite 31: Chapter 31: It Doesn’t Bite Her short little legs ran at an incredible speed, “whooshing” past the startled Sanni.

Sanni watched her little figure pass and suddenly snapped back to reality, imdiately screaming at the top of her lungs: “Guibao, co back, don’t go in!!”

But Helian Qiao didn’t look back, she simply continued to race onwards: mass of at, here I co~~~~

Sanni knew that if any harm ca to her sister, their grandmother wouldn’t forgive her, so without a second thought, she raised her legs and gave chase, “Guibao, stop, don’t run anymore!”

Fortunately, her legs were a lot longer than Helian Qiao’s, and she managed to catch her right at the edge of the bamboo forest.

Just as she was about to say sothing, she spotted a large black snake not too far away, standing tall, flexing its muscles, and flicking its tongue out nacingly.

Sanni instantly swallowed the words that were about to leave her mouth, her little face turning pale.

Helian Qiao, however, had sparkling eyes and her baby voice was brimming with excitent: “Such a fat snake!”

So much at!!

The big snake imdiately turned its head upon hearing the sound——

It’s cold and sinister eyes made Sanni shiver in fear, her legs felt as if they were frozen in place, wanting to run but unable to move.

It’s over!

We’re gonna get poisoned!

However, a mont later, the large snake suddenly fell over, rigidly stiff, then began to slide down a slope.

Helian Qiao instantly commanded with displeasure: “Don’t run!”

She thought that the big snake was trying to escape, hurriedly she broke free of Sanni’s hand and gave chase.

As the snake felt the Dragon’s Prestige getting closer and closer, it laid rigidly on the ground, not daring to move.

Seeing it being so obedient, Helian Qiao was quite satisfied and picked it up by its stiff tail.

The mont it was grasped, the snake’s long body instantly beca as rigid as a wooden stick, then slackened off again.

The poor snake, was directly scared unconscious by the Dragon Clan’s Little Princess.

But Helian Qiao, ecstatic, dragged the snake over to a dumbstruck Sanni, “Sister Sanni, help hold this.”

This snake is frankly a bit too long for the little princess, who’s less than a ter tall.

The excitent and joy of being able to eat at was clear in her baby voice.

Sanni stepped back in fright, her face full of fear as she stared at her, “Guibao, quick, throw the snake away!

Quickly!!”

Helian Qiao blinked her eyes, looking at her innocuously, “Why should I throw it away?

There is so much at here.”

The Dragon Clan’s Little Princess simply could not understand why she would be afraid of a little snake, especially as people often catch snakes to eat according to her inherited mories.

But seeing Sanni on the verge of crying, Helian Qiao quickly said: “I’ll hold it myself, I won’t let you hold it.”

Sigh, why do human chicks cry so easily?

She sighed to herself as she dragged the snake out, causing quite a commotion.

Fearful that they would all start crying, Helian Qiao quickly raised her voice, “Look, it doesn’t bite.”

As she spoke, she swayed the snake in her hand a few tis.

The fainted snake remained motionless.

Seeing this, the young girls finally felt a bit less scared.

“Is the snake dead?”

“It must be dead, look, it’s not moving at all.”

Once they confird the snake was indeed dead, the young girls went back into the bamboo forest to continue picking bamboo shoots.

Helian Qiao, however, was a bit troubled.

She didn’t want to keep holding the snake’s tail, it was tacky.

She wanted to wash her hands and continue chasing butterflies, but was afraid the big snake would sneakily slip away when she wasn’t paying attention.

After all, when she was catching butterflies, she had to withdraw her Dragon’s Prestige, otherwise, it would scare the butterflies away.

As she was thinking, a brilliant idea popped into her mind: she had a plan!
