Exactly twenty-eight minutes later, Huo Qi was nothing if not precisely efficient, the doorbell chid with a soft, lodic sound that echoed pleasantly through the villa.

"That’s impressively fast," Tang Fei observed, her stomach responding with another hopeful growl.

"I told Huo Qi to bring it personally. He’s extrely efficient when properly motivated." Huo Ting Cheng carefully extricated himself from her embrace and stood, stretching briefly. "I should put on actual clothes before answering the door."

He crossed into the closet and selected a pair of casual cotton beach shorts in navy blue, simple, comfortable, and appropriate for the setting. He pulled them on, deliberately leaving his chest bare, and headed downstairs to receive their breakfast delivery.

Tang Fei watched him go with unabashed appreciation, her eyes following the movent of muscles in his back, the confident way he moved, the casual strength evident in every motion. Even thoroughly exhausted and deliciously sore, she could still appreciate the sheer aesthetic appeal of the man.

And this can definitely cost her a lot, she was already so sore but her core was throbbing with desire...

Could she say this was witchcraft?

Downstairs, Huo Ting Cheng opened the heavy front door to find Huo Qi standing at attention with a large covered tray balanced professionally.

The enticing aroma of freshly prepared food wafted from beneath the covers, savory and sweet notes mingling enticingly.

"Master," Huo Qi greeted with a respectful nod, carefully keeping his gaze professionally averted from Huo Ting Cheng’s state of undress and the clearly visible marks adorning his neck and shoulders, evidence of the passionate night he’d ntioned. "Breakfast, precisely as requested. The chef prepared everything fresh exactly twenty minutes ago."

Huo Ting Cheng accepted the substantial tray with ease despite its obvious weight. "Thank you, Huo Qi. This looks and slls perfect."

"Is there anything else you require, sir?" Huo Qi inquired professionally. "I can arrange various activities if desired, yacht excursion, private beach setup with full anities, in-villa spa services, private chef for dinner this evening..."

Huo Ting Cheng considered the options briefly before shaking his head. "No pre-arranged activities. We’ll see how the day naturally unfolds. I’ll contact you directly if we need anything."

Huo Qi nodded with perfect understanding. This was ant to be a completely private, intimate ti between husband and wife. No rigid schedules, no external obligations, no intrusions. "Of course, sir. I’ll remain on standby for any requests. Please enjoy your day, Master."

"Continue keeping updated about the children’s situation."

"Absolutely, sir. Without fail."

Huo Ting Cheng closed the door securely and carried the laden tray back upstairs, the aromatic promise of food seeming to intensify with each step. He could hear Tang Fei’s stomach growling appreciatively even from the hallway, making him smile.

He entered the bedroom to find her sitting up more alertly now, her nose lifted slightly as she tracked the scent like a hunting animal, her eyes brightening with undisguised hunger and anticipation.

"That slls absolutely amazing," she declared, practically salivating.

"It should, I had it brought from the best restaurant on this entire stretch of coast." He set the heavy tray carefully on the dresser and glanced around the room. "We need a proper surface to eat from..."

He spotted a folding bed tray table tucked neatly in the corner, probably left thoughtfully by the staff who had prepared the villa for their arrival.

He retrieved it, adjusted the legs to the perfect height, and positioned it carefully over Tang Fei’s lap with the precision of soone who genuinely cared about her comfort.

Then he began transferring items from the large delivery tray to the bed table, removing covers with a flourish to reveal an genuinely impressive spread: steaming congee with an array of traditional toppings, delicate stead buns still radiating heat, perfectly soft scrambled eggs, fresh sliced fruit arranged with artistic care, small dishes of pickled vegetables for palate contrast, and an elegant pot of fragrant jasmine tea accompanied by two delicate cups.

"This is way too much food for two people," Tang Fei observed with wide eyes, though she was already reaching eagerly for a stead bun, unable to resist any longer.

"You need substantial nourishnt," he replied firmly, pouring jasmine tea for them both with practiced grace. "You expended considerable energy last night."

She choked slightly on her first bite of bun, her cheeks flushing bright pink. "Huo Ting Cheng!" Did he have to ntion it like that?

He maintained an expression of perfect innocence. "What? I’m simply stating the factual truth."

Before allowing her to eat properly, he disappeared briefly into the bathroom. She heard water running, and he erged monts later with a small face towel that was damp and pleasantly warm.

"Here," he said, settling on the bed’s edge beside her. "Allow ."

He proceeded to gently wipe her face with the warm towel, carefully cleaning away the last remnants of sleep, then thodically cleaned her hands with thorough attention, each finger individually, each line of her palm, with a level of care that transford a simple practical act into sothing unexpectedly intimate.

"There," he pronounced with satisfaction when finished. "Now you can eat properly without any excuse."

Tang Fei felt that now-familiar warmth bloom in her chest again, that complicated, growing emotion she wasn’t quite ready to na. This ticulous care, this focused attention to small details of her comfort, felt sohow even more intimate than the raw passion they’d shared in darkness.

They ate together in companionable silence, Huo Ting Cheng occasionally reaching across to place particularly choice morsels on her plate, ensuring she consud adequate nutrition.

The food was genuinely excellent, clearly prepared by genuinely skilled culinary hands.

As she ate, Tang Fei found her thoughts drifting back to the previous night despite her best efforts.

The overwhelming intensity of it all, the way he’d claid her so thoroughly and completely.

She’d been wanting intimacy with Huo Ting Cheng for quite so ti, and had even indulged in detailed fantasies about what it might be like. But she absolutely hadn’t expected him to be so... feral. So intensely focused. So completely overwhelming in his passion and possession.
