They alighted from the SUV and walked toward the building entrance. Tang Fei clicked the key fob to lock the car, and imdiately the security guards who’d been following them closed ranks protectively around her and Twilight.

They’d barely made it ten steps when the commotion began.

"Mrs. Huo! Mrs. Huo!"

"Mrs. Huo is here!"

Word spread like wildfire through the crowd of aspiring perforrs who’d been waiting outside. Within seconds, dozens of people rushed forward, all eager to catch a glimpse of the elusive Mrs. Huo in person.

The security guards imdiately ford a tighter barrier, but Tang Fei raised her hand gently, signaling them to give the crowd so space.

"Hello, everyone! Nice to see you all here," Tang Fei said warmly, waving at the gathered crowd. Her smile was genuine, her deanor approachable despite her status.

She hadn’t known she had so many admirers. Her new life truly was worth every mont.

As the guards carefully escorted her toward the entrance, she could hear the excited whispers and cheers rippling through the crowd.

"She’s truly beautiful face-to-face..."

"I didn’t know she had such smooth, white skin!"

"Look at her hair, it’s gorgeous! No wonder she’s Master Huo’s heartthrob..."

"She’s so rich, but look how humble and kind she is!"

"Look at how simply she dresses, no complications, no designer labels everywhere, and she still looks stunning..."

"She’s not like those other rich wives who look down on everyone..."

"I heard she’s really involved in the company, not just a trophy wife..."

The praise continued as Tang Fei made her way inside, and she couldn’t help but feel a warm glow of satisfaction. After everything, all the darkness, all the violence, all the secrets, it was nice to be admired for sothing positive. Sothing normal.

Inside the audition hall, the atmosphere shifted imdiately. The space was professionally designed with excellent acoustics and lighting, a proper stage at one end, judges’ tables positioned at the front, and rows of seats for waiting perforrs.

Several judges were already seated at their table, reviewing notes and discussing the day’s schedule. When they noticed Tang Fei entering, they imdiately stood up, their expressions a mixture of respect and genuine pleasure.

"We’re so glad to see you show up, Mrs. Huo!" The head judge, a middle-aged woman with kind eyes and an authoritative presence, stepped forward and extended her hand.

Tang Fei took it warmly, shaking hands with each judge in turn. "Hello, everyone. Thank you for being here today."

Most of them were eting her face-to-face for the first ti, and their reactions ranged from pleasantly surprised to visibly impressed. The woman they’d heard so much about, the mysterious Mrs. Huo who’d sohow captured the heart of the famously cold Huo Ting Cheng, was standing before them, and she was nothing like they’d expected.

"Hello, Mrs. Huo," another judge said, a younger man who looked like he worked in casting. "We hadn’t expected you to be this... approachable. It’s refreshing."

Tang Fei smiled modestly. "I believe talent should be recognized regardless of who’s watching. I’m just here to see these perforrs shine."

Her words earned appreciative nods from the judges. She wasn’t boastful or proud despite her position. She was genuinely down-to-earth, and that kind of humility was rare in their industry.

Tang Fei took a seat at the judges’ table, positioned slightly to the side so she could observe without interfering with the official judging process. Twilight imdiately took the seat beside her, her posture protective, her eyes constantly scanning the room for potential threats.

Additional security guards positioned themselves strategically throughout the hall, so near the exits, others along the walls, all maintaining a visible but non-intrusive presence. Their job was to ensure law and order while allowing the auditions to proceed smoothly.

Within minutes, everything was in place. The head judge stood and addressed the room, her voice carrying authority and warmth.

"Good morning, everyone! Welco to today’s auditions for the upcoming Huo Entertainnt productions. We have a full day ahead of us, so let’s get started. When your na is called, please co to the stage, state your na and the piece you’ll be performing, and then begin. We’re looking for authenticity, emotion, and technical skill. Give us your best!"

Excited murmurs rippled through the waiting perforrs.

The first na was called, a young woman in her early twenties, dressed simply but professionally. She walked onto the stage with visible nerves but held her head high.

"Good morning. My na is Chen Lili, and I’ll be performing a monologue from ’The Autumn Moon.’"

She took a deep breath and began.

Tang Fei watched with genuine interest. The girl had talent, raw and unpolished, but definitely there. Her emotional delivery was compelling, though her technical execution could use refinent.

When she finished, the judges offered constructive feedback, and the girl bowed gratefully before exiting the stage.

The auditions continued in this manner, perforr after perforr taking the stage, each bringing their own unique energy and interpretation. So were exceptional, others rely adequate, and a few were unfortunately not ready for professional work.

Tang Fei observed quietly, occasionally leaning toward Twilight to whisper a comnt or observation. She was learning a great deal about the industry, about what worked and what didn’t, about how talent was identified and nurtured.

About an hour into the auditions, a young man took the stage who imdiately caught Tang Fei’s attention. He had an unusual presence, not classically handso, but striking in a way that demanded attention. His eyes held depth and intelligence.

"Good morning. My na is Wei Chen, and I’ll be performing a scene from ’Broken Mirrors.’"

He began his performance, and the room fell silent.

His acting was extraordinary, nuanced, emotionally complex, and technically flawless. He inhabited the character completely, and for those few minutes, everyone in the room was transported into the story he was telling.

When he finished, there was a mont of stunned silence before applause erupted, not just from the judges, but from the other perforrs waiting their turn.
