Tang Fei’s hips instinctively tilted toward him, a quiet plea in every movent. Her lips parted, letting out soft, breathless sounds as he kissed her jaw, her neck, then back to her lips, each kiss a promise, each touch a claim.

"Do you feel that, Fei’er?" His voice was low, rough, vibrating against her ear. "Everything you are... it belongs to ."

Her body trembled under his words, her chest rising and falling with shallow, desperate breaths.

His fingers continued their teasing, sliding, brushing, pressing just enough to make her ache, to make her pulse race, to make her want him in ways she hadn’t dared imagine.

And yet he didn’t cross the line. The restraint in him, the controlled fire, made every mont unbearable, and every touch intoxicating.

Tang Fei pressed into him, whispering his na against his lips, the heat between them wrapping them both in a cocoon of desire that was almost unbearable.

Finally, he pulled back slightly, forehead resting against hers, his hands lingering possessively on her sides. His eyes, dark and stormy, bore into hers, "Never forget," he murmured, voice low and rough, "you are mine... and I will make you feel it, every ti."

Tang Fei shivered, heart racing, knowing that this wasn’t over. The fire he’d ignited in her was far from quenched, and she wouldn’t want it to be.

The tension between them lingered, thick and electric, as Huo Ting Cheng’s fingers slowly withdrew, though his hands didn’t leave her body. Tang Fei’s chest heaved, hair tousled, lips still tingling from their kisses.

He lowered himself beside her on the seat, careful, deliberate, until her head rested against his broad chest. His arm ca around her, holding her close, possessively, while the other hand absentmindedly stroked her hair.

The heat between them softened into warmth, a steady pulse of closeness that made her feel safe and utterly cherished.

Tang Fei tilted her head, looking up at him with a shy, sleepy smile. "Ting Cheng..." she whispered.

He pressed a kiss to the crown of her head, his dark eyes softening as he murmured against her hair, "Fei’er... mine."

No words were needed after that. In the quiet intimacy of the car, their breaths syncing, hearts slowing together, they simply held each other, his body radiating protective strength, hers yielding trust and surrender.

The storm of desire had cald into sothing deeper now: warmth, possession, love, and a promise that no matter what ca next, they would face it together.

Tang Fei closed her eyes, letting herself lt into him, the steady beat of his chest beneath her head a comforting, grounding rhythm. Huo Ting Cheng’s hand settled firmly on her side, a silent vow that she was his, and he would never let her go.

That evening, the world outside the car felt distant, irrelevant. All that mattered was this.... him, her, and the quiet, consuming closeness of being together.

At the table, the kids began conversing and looking towards the main entrance door, their mother was taking way too long to return.

Their parents have fought for so many years growing up and they just recently patched things up, but what if they went back to fighting again?

Zhihao was nervous as Minghao gazed at him from ti to ti.

"Xu Wei... what exactly did you say to him?" Mrs Xu asked gently, eyes searching his face. "For Huo Ting Cheng to leave like that... so tense... and silent... it wasn’t just anger, was it?"

He paused, fork hovering mid-air, and glanced at her briefly.

His expression was calm, but the faint shadow of sothing heavier lingered behind his eyes. "It’s not that easy to explain," he said carefully. "I reminded him... of what he’s done to Tang Fei. About the years he kept her isolated. About the choices he forced upon her."

Mrs. Xu frowned slightly. "And... that made him... leave like that?"

Xu Wei let out a soft, controlled sigh, resting his hands on the table. "Huo Ting Cheng doesn’t respond well when soone confronts him with truths he hasn’t fully faced himself. He felt the weight of it, perhaps anger, perhaps... or it was sothing else altogether. Or fear, maybe. Fear of losing her, or of admitting what he’s done."

Mrs. Xu’s hand brushed over his, seeking reassurance. "You weren’t too harsh on him?"

He shook his head slowly. "I spoke only what was necessary. Sotis people only listen when they’re forced to confront the truth. I wanted him to see that possession is not protection, and that love... real love... is different."

She nodded slowly, her concern softening into thoughtfulness. "And yet... he left the room so abruptly, as if he were about to storm away entirely. Are you sure he’ll co around?"

Xu Wei’s gaze drifted toward the entrance door, a faint shadow of worry in his otherwise steady expression. "He always cos around," he said finally, voice calm but firm. "He cannot resist what is his... what he loves. He just needs to work through his pride first."

Mrs. Xu exhaled, a soft relief mingling with her lingering worry. "I hope... for Tang Fei’s sake, he finds that balance soon."

Xu Wei’s eyes softened just slightly as he nodded. "He will. He always does. And she... she has more patience than anyone I’ve ever seen."

The two of them sat in silence for a mont, listening to the laughter of children and the muted evening outside, each lost in thought about the storm that had passed and the one still quietly brewing behind Huo Ting Cheng’s stoic mask.

"Could they end up fighting? Tang Fei is taking longer outside!" Mrs Xu wondered what was taking them so long.

"They will be fine." Mr Xu responded as they gazed at the kids and continued eating.

A few minutes later, Tang Fei slowly untangled herself from his arms, the warmth of his chest still clinging to her skin.

Her body tingled from the lingering touches, but her mind sharpened, realizing they couldn’t stay in there forever. She imdiately arranged her clothes.

"Ting Cheng..." she murmured softly, brushing a stray lock of hair from her face. "We should go back inside. They are waiting for us!"
