"We have missed you momma, but you haven’t missed us at all. No calls, no ssages, you didn’t co to see us, you even lied to momma, and then, what have you been up to lately? Earning money for gas? Or did that man restrict you from coming to see us?" They were excited, and they knew their momma liked playing gas. To secretly play, she would need to earn her own money if she wanted to keep it a secret.
"Hehe... It’s what you are thinking! Your momma missed you all too. It’s just that your father has been on a business trip for the month; he didn’t allow to co over to the military academy all by myself without his accompanint; what else could I have done?" She softly giggled as she pinched their cheeks and gazed into those alluring eyes.
Tinghao seed to be getting a bit puffy, and the Young Miss seed to be just cool and vibing, while Zhihao had lost his baby cheeks. Why did Tang Fei hate such cute kids? Apart from attacking her with their cuteness, she doesn’t seem to see anything to hate them for.
"Mommy?" Zhihao doubted her statent with his sister, but Tinghao was convinced by this explanation. He didn’t think anything was wrong.
"I’m sorry... Mommy is going to make money so that I can buy a chopper to fly over to the Military Academy as it’s the safest way, and your father won’t have to nag about safety, you know!" Did she have to lie? Of course, and she will place all the bla on that Man. She was a good person and a good mother on that!
"But momma, he doesn’t have just one chopper!" Zhihao frowned as he rubbed the space in between his eyebrows, he would always do this whenever he was in deep thoughts as his father.
"You all be careful... Don’t hurt her, and also, don’t be jumpy around there!" Sixth Master Huo strode through the entrance door carrying Minghao who was sound asleep in his arms while covered by a shawl. He headed over to the foot of the stairs as a family doctor trailed behind him closely.
"What’s the matter with her? Is she injured? Did she get hurt? How is she?" Tang Fei suddenly noticed Minghao, who was in his arms, seemingly looking sick; she wanted to stand up and see her, but her injured leg couldn’t allow her to.
She nervously looked at that girl in his arms as her heart heavily thumped on her chest; she stretched her arms so that Nanny Yun could assist her over to see her daughter but withdrew her arms that were stretched out, hearing her husband stopping her.
"Don’t let her get up! I know she has been moving around and the girl is just fine." He warned her with his eyes. She has been lying to the kids, and if she got up and began limping, the kids would beco suspicious and start inquiring. Didn’t she want to keep the matter a secret?
Tang Fei smacked her lips in annoyance and understood the aning behind those cold eyes; apart from exuding coldness, she could still see the warmth that radiated out of his eyes.
"She is having a low fever, momma, but it ain’t as serious as you think; that’s why we need a doctor to check up on her. Also, she is sleeping; let her rest. Training at the military academy is harder and she is taking this ti to nap and out to rest her aching muscles." Zhihao hurriedly responded before their father could say more than he was supposed to say. It wasn’t good to make the lady worry.
She might end up locking them before withdrawing their nas from the military academy, they wouldn’t allow her to know what was happening. If she saw those blue bruises, they would be done for, and luckily, Minghao had gotten only tissue bruises and nothing more serious.
"Yeah, that! I will place her in her bedroom and let the Doctor check up on her before coming down to join you. And you three, you better go to your rooms and clean up, you have germs all over your body." He took the stairs up, and Tang Fei didn’t manage to see anything at all. He also understood the kids’ dilemma.
He didn’t mind telling her but it would be a stumbling block for the other kids who wanted to go back to the military academy.
"Mommy Mommy... Look at what we got for you." They presented the wildflowers they had gotten from the military academy fields and tried to distract her from looking at Minghao.
The flowers were tightly wrapped with a wild tree skin that was thin and elastic. They had learned how to tie a knot just in case they needed to do that.
Even though she was distracted, she still felt like Minghao was a little bit strange, but her mind shifted over to the kids who were in front of her. Nanny Yun and Qin Xinyu were standing at a distance watching silently.
They were both seeing the kids for the very first ti. The girl resembled their mother while the boys were their father’s duplicate. They did really look cute and handso. They also took their mother’s slight facial features.
"Momma... Anything you have noticed? Mnnhh?" Tinghao slightly shied after asking. They were kids and would gladly receive so complints.
"Woow... You look so grown and handso! It feels like you haven’t been to the Military Academy but rather into a prestigious school with the way your skin is glowing." She could see so changes after being in the military academy for the past month, and in a month’s ti, it should be their birthday.
She didn’t have any idea of what they would wish for as Tang Fei has never celebrated their birthday ever since they were born, that day has always been marked as a jinxed day in her calendar.
