Mu Wanrou waved her hand calming their ecstatic hearts as they walked over to the high table as the mbers of the Fan family escorted them.
Apart from Sixth Master Huo, they were surprised by Mu Wanrou’s presence.
"Your wife does resemble that lady from the Mu family!" Mo Tianyu jokingly voiced his thoughts and that resemblance was very uncanny. You would even think they were twins.
Tang Fei, who had been smiling, lifted her head and gazed at the girl who was walking over to the high table with her family, squinting her eyes. Yes, no doubt, she looked like Assassin Ice, from their eyes to the nose bridge.
Tang Fei loudly sneered, gazing back at the table; she could tell the Mu family didn’t favor boys over girls, so they could have knowingly abandoned them.
"Hello, Sixth Master Huo, Mo Tianyu, Zu Zho Yu..." She got closer, facing them, and, with her smiling face, stretched her hand out to greet them, but they didn’t lift their heads, and neither responded to them; they went on chatting, catching up, not minding the fleas that were buzzing.
"Tsk! Hehe..." Tang Fei couldn’t stop herself from giggling! It’s not like they didn’t know Sixth Master Huo hated skin contact the most but also hated people who tried to get closer to him.
"You? What are you laughing?" Another young boy, around nineteen years old, coldly glared at Tang Fei, slightly embarrassed and annoyed, seeing their sister withdraw her hand in embarrassnt.
"You must be Sixth Master Huo’s secretary, my na is Mu Wanrou..." She didn’t like being embarrassed and she had to openly laugh at her. She turned around and changed her target.
"Miss, do you want endorsents or do you want to join our Huo Z Entertainnt? I will generously welco you!" She remarked, closing her hands around her chest, her body straightened, and her eyes glaring at her coldly. Since she was a secretary, then, she would do her job properly.
When they heard that, and she didn’t deny it, they imdiately began looking at her with disdainful gazes! She was trying to hold onto Sixth Master Huo to climb higher the branch.
Secretary Li was seated beside Tang Fei; he had received a bowl of grapefruits and passed them over to Tang Fei. Since she couldn’t enjoy the non-alcoholic drink, she chose to have grapes.
He eyed her, wondering what she was up to, and hearing people chanting and gazing at her disdainfully, he softly smirked.
"You!" They were infuriated as they settled down on the other side and faced them.
"I’m offering you an olive branch, you don’t need to entertain those greasy Directors!" Tang Fei warmly smiled at her like she was looking out for her.
Who didn’t know how the entertainnt industry was? It was a dark pool that dragged soone to hell!
"You! Did you perform plastic surgery so that you could look like our princess? Are you trying to copy our princess?" Another girl spoke up glaring at Tang Fei.
Sixth Master Huo turned around and gently pinched her cheek, "You cheeky little one." After pinching her cheek and seeing her blush, he went back to chatting with Mo Tianyu. He could be talking with them but knew what was happening beside him.
Since she wanted to ss around, he would just let her have her mont.
Seeing how those eyes were gazing at her so warmly with the tender gesture, their opinion once one changed.
They were infuriated that Sixth Master Huo didn’t look at them or say anything, and with the way he was acting with this woman, it didn’t seem like she was his secretary but rather soone important.
They didn’t dare start any argunts so they went quiet. It was best if they didn’t provoke Sixth Master Huo.
"Darling, I will go out and get so fresh air..." She held Sixth Master Huo’s arm clinging onto him while her head leaned on his arm intimately.
"Are you bored? If you don’t want to be here, we can go ho!" He turned around and gazed at her calm face, which was no longer smiling. He rarely wanted to bring her to this kind of function because he knew she would be bored.
"No! I just wanna walk around, nothing much." She had heard that the Hotel did have a beautiful garden. She does recall passing by it at one point, but now, she could enjoy it.
"All right! Be careful... Huo Qi, nothing should happen to her!" He tasked Huo Qi with his woman’s safety.
"Geez! You don’t have to be a worry worth, nothing would happen here with all the security asures, you should let Huo Qi do so business talks!" She didn’t think walking around would cause her any harm, and if soone wanted to hurt her, she had to think twice before embarking on that journey.
"No! He has to accompany you." He beca serious and Tang Fei could only sigh. She got up and walked over to the other door that would lead them to the garden while Huo Qi walked beside her, but they suddenly ca across a dark hallway where lights could have intentionally been switched off, and they could hear knives clashing.
Tang Fei hurriedly moved her head, evading that oncoming steel dart as Huo Qi held her body, and they bent down. She frowned as she tried to discern what was happening ahead of them.
Two people’s heartbeats were audible and beating faster, while the other ones were slightly faint.
"Twilight! I have to kill you today!" A rough voice loudly roared and it could send shivers to anyone else apart from Tang Fei and Huo Qi as this wasn’t new to them.
"Let’s go back..." Holding her hand, he wanted to drag her away, but when she heard Twilight, she forged forward, and Huo Qi couldn’t do anything apart from joining that fight to keep her safe.
With the darkness surrounding them, Tang Fei sliced one of the machinery’s throat with one slide. She had learned this: to kill your enemy faster, target the most vulnerable part, and with one swoop, you would erge the winner.
