Lun’s steps were steady as he left behind the fortress that had been a symbol of malice and cruelty. He had no doubt that Malachi would face the consequences of his actions wherever he ended up in the afterlife, and that knowledge allowed Lun to move forward.
The forest surrounding him seed to co alive with the rustling of leaves and the chirping of birds. The Fantasia Realm was a place of both beauty and danger, and Lun knew he had to remain vigilant. The forest had its secrets, and he was determined to uncover them.
In the days that followed, Lun spent his ti exploring the dense, untad wilderness. His senses were sharpened, and his instincts finely tuned as he ventured deeper into the forest, searching for any signs of D tier beasts. He was on a quest to beco even stronger, and the presence of these powerful creatures was his greatest challenge yet.
His training regin was rigorous. Lun honed his combat skills, practised his spells, and tested the limits of his physical and magical abilities. Every encounter with the creatures of the forest was an opportunity to push himself further, and he welcod the challenge.
Yet, despite his determination and relentless pursuit, the D tier beasts remained elusive. They were cunning and territorial, avoiding him whenever they sensed his approach. Lun’s frustration grew with each passing day, but he refused to give up.
One afternoon, as he ventured deeper into the heart of the forest, he stumbled upon an overgrown path. It was barely discernible, hidden beneath layers of moss and fallen leaves, but its presence intrigued him. Lun’s curiosity got the better of him, and he decided to follow the forgotten road.
The path led him through dense foliage and towering trees, and for a mont, he felt like an explorer on an uncharted expedition. The forest seed to hold its breath as he ventured further along the ancient trail.
As he walked, the distant sounds of wheels and the clattering of hooves reached his ears. Lun quickened his pace, intrigued by the unexpected presence of travellers in this remote part of the forest.
The path eventually opened up to a clearing, revealing a surprising sight—a caravan of traders making their way through the wilderness. The caravan was a makeshift procession of wagons, each laden with goods, and people from various races and backgrounds.
One of the traders, a middle-aged man with a friendly deanour, noticed Lun’s approach and offered a warm smile. "Greetings, traveller! Are you in need of supplies or perhaps so news from the outside world?"
Lun acknowledged the trader with a nod but maintained a cautious deanour. "I might be interested. Tell , what brings you to this part of the forest?"
The trader introduced himself as Garret and explained that their caravan was part of a regular trade route that traversed the wilderness. They moved between the settlents in the area, trading goods and supplies with the isolated communities that dotted the landscape.
To Lun’s surprise, Garret ntioned the existence of a small city nad Veridia located just thirty kilotres in the direction he had been heading. The prospect of reaching a city was an enticing one, and he knew it might provide him with more opportunities to achieve his goals.
"Thank you for the information, Garret," Lun said with gratitude. "I think I’ll make my way to this city, Veridia. It sounds like a place worth visiting."
Garret smiled and extended his hand in a friendly gesture. "Safe travels, my friend. Should you ever pass this way again, you’re always welco to join us."
With that, Lun bid farewell to the traders and set a new goal for himself. He would make his way to the city of Veridia while continuing his search for D tier beasts along the way. The journey ahead promised new adventures, challenges, and opportunities to grow stronger in this fantastical realm.
Days soon passed as Lun journeyed through the forest, his eyes scanning the undergrowth for any signs of D tier beasts. The creatures remained elusive, their presence felt but not seen. Lun’s determination never wavered, for he knew that this relentless pursuit of strength was essential to his survival.
Finally, after days of exploration and determination, Lun arrived at the outskirts of Veridia. The city was a sight to behold, its towering walls and bustling streets a stark contrast to the untad wilderness he had traversed.
Towering, 10 tre high walls, constructed with stone as sturdy as the mountains themselves, encircled Veridia. They stood tall and proud, their surface adorned with intricate carvings and motifs that told the city’s history. Guard towers punctuated the walls at regular intervals, and vigilant sentinels patrolled the area. These fortifications were a testant to Veridia’s commitnt to security in a world where danger lurked beyond the city gates.
He passed through the city gates, the guards eyeing him with a mix of curiosity and suspicion. Lun felt a sense of awe as he entered the bustling city. The streets were filled with people from all walks of life, and the air was alive with the hum of activity.
Veridia’s streets were a bustling tapestry of life and comrce. Cobblestone paths, smoothed by the footsteps of countless residents and visitors, crisscrossed the city. Stalls and shops lined the avenues, offering goods from every corner of the Fantasia Realm. Street vendors called out to passersby, their voices adding to the vibrant symphony of the city. Lun found himself surrounded by a cacophony of languages, laughter, and the unmistakable scent of exotic spices.
Veridia’s Hunter’s Guild, which he had visited in the village, was a bustling building in the heart of the city. It was much larger and more packed than the one he had previously known, a testant to the city’s prominence in this region of the Fantasia Realm.
Lun made his way to the guild, his eyes scanning the bustling hall for any information or quests that might lead him to D tier beasts. The quest board was filled with requests of varying difficulties, but he knew he needed a challenge worthy of his capabilities.
Luckily for him, it seed that this city had much more to offer than that tiny village he had first visited.
There it was—a quest to clear a nearby forest of D tier beasts that had been terrorising the region, just like the one he had seen before at the unnad village.
