Lun left the Adventurer’s Guild, his D tier Adventurer’s badge proudly displayed. He had a quest to hunt down a D tier Razorclaw Wyvern, a task that promised both danger and reward. As he walked through the bustling streets of Veridia, he pondered the worth of the gold currency in this world compared to the equipnt and materials he could acquire.

The market was his next destination. Lun had gathered various materials from his encounters with D tier beasts, and he wanted to see their value in the adventurer’s economy. It was essential to be well-prepared for his upcoming quest, and he knew that having the right equipnt and supplies could an the difference between success and failure.

Veridia’s market was a lively place, filled with stalls selling a wide array of goods. Weapons, armour, magical trinkets, and raw materials were all on display. Lun admired the craftsmanship of the weapons and the intricate designs of enchanted accessories.

As he wandered through the market, a stall caught his eye. It bore the emblem of the Adventurer’s Guild, signifying that it was an official guild-operated rchant. Lun approached, hoping to find soone knowledgeable about the value of the materials he had collected.

The rchant behind the stall was a middle-aged man with a keen eye for appraisal. He greeted Lun with a warm smile. "Greetings, adventurer. How can I assist you today?"

Lun returned the greeting with a nod. "I have so materials that I’ve collected during my quests, and I was hoping to inquire about their worth and possibly sell them."

The rchant’s interest was piqued. "Materials, you say? We do deal in such items. What do you have to offer?"

Lun began listing the materials he had accumulated. "I have the pelts and fangs of Shadow Wolves, the venom sacs and claws of Plagueclaw Vermin, and the golem core of an Apex Mountain Guardian."

As Lun ntioned the materials, he noticed a subtle change in the rchant’s expression. His brows furrowed slightly, and his eyes widened in surprise. It was clear that the rchant hadn’t expected soone of Lun’s rank—D tier, according to his badge—to possess materials from such formidable D tier beasts.

The rchant examined the samples Lun had brought. He ran his fingers over the Shadow Wolf pelts, inspected the Plagueclaw Vermin venom sacs, and marvelled at the Apex Mountain Guardian scales.

"These are remarkable," the rchant said, his voice filled with genuine admiration. "The quality of these materials is exceptional. You’ve taken down so formidable foes, my friend."

Lun inclined his head, grateful for the complint. "Thank you. I’ve trained hard to reach this point."

The rchant considered the materials and then turned his attention to Lun. "Given the rarity and quality of these materials, I’d say they hold significant value. I can offer you a fair price for them, or you can choose to keep them for crafting or trade. What would you prefer?"

Lun weighed his options. While the gold currency was tempting, he also recognized the potential benefits of keeping so of the materials for crafting or trading with other adventurers.

"I’ll sell a portion of the materials now and keep the rest for later use. What price can you offer for the materials I’m willing to sell?"

The rchant, experienced in negotiations, nad a reasonable price for the materials Lun was willing to part with. It was a substantial amount of gold, 1500 to be precise, enough to procure valuable equipnt and supplies for his quest. Lun agreed to the deal, and the rchant handed him a big pouch of gold coins.

"As for the remaining materials," the rchant said, "I’d recomnd consulting the Adventurer’s Guild. They can provide you with information on crafting opportunities or potential buyers."

Lun thanked the rchant for his assistance and the fair deal. As he pocketed the gold coins, he couldn’t help but feel a sense of satisfaction. He was becoming more accustod to the ways of this world and was gradually building his resources.

Before parting ways, Lun couldn’t resist asking the rchant one more question. "By the way, do you have any information on where I can find or hunt more D tier beasts in this region?"

The rchant leaned in slightly, as if sharing a secret. "Ah, you’re eager for more challenges, I see. To hunt D tier beasts, I’d recomnd exploring the regions around Veridia.

The wilderness holds many secrets, and formidable creatures often lurk in uncharted territories. You might also want to inquire at the Adventurer’s Guild. They often have leads on such quests."

Lun nodded, grateful for the advice. He bid the rchant farewell and headed toward the Adventurer’s Guild once more. It seed that the guild would be his primary source of information and opportunities in this city.

Upon arriving at the guild, he approached the quest board once more. This ti, his focus was on quests that involved hunting D tier beasts. He scanned the available missions, looking for any that matched his criteria.

One quest stood out: "The Savage Peaks - Exterminate the D tier Bloodfire Drakes." It was a challenging quest that involved hunting a pack of D tier beasts known for their fiery breath and territorial nature.

Lun signed up for the quest, adding his na to the list of interested adventurers.

The quest to exterminate the D tier Bloodfire Drakes was enticing, but Lun noticed there was a two-week recruitnt period before the party would set out. It seed that other adventurers were also keen on tackling the formidable beasts. With ti to spare, he decided to focus on his current mission: hunting the Razorclaw Wyvern.

The information he had received from the Adventurer’s Guild indicated that the Razorclaw Wyvern had been last sighted in a canyon roughly fifty kilotres away from Veridia. It was a considerable distance, but Lun was prepared for the journey. With his newly acquired gold coins and supplies, he set off from the city.

The road to the canyon was a mix of well-trodden paths and wild trails. Lun observed the changing landscape as he ventured deeper into the wilderness. Verdant forests gave way to rolling hills, and eventually, the terrain grew rocky and rugged. He consulted a map provided by the guild to ensure he was on the right track.

As he continued his journey, Lun couldn’t help but reflect on his experiences since arriving in Veridia. He had faced nurous challenges, each one pushing him to grow stronger and more skilled. The Mystic Warlord class had proven its worth, allowing him to seamlessly blend magic and weapons in combat. It was a path of versatility, and he relished the opportunities it offered.

The canyon ca into view, a vast expanse of rocky cliffs and narrow gorges. Lun knew he was getting closer to his destination. He tightened his grip on his spear, his senses alert for any sign of the Razorclaw Wyvern.

It didn’t take long for him to find evidence of the creature’s presence. Massive claw marks adorned the canyon walls, and the remains of unfortunate animals were scattered about. It was a grim reminder of the wyvern’s power.

Lun proceeded cautiously, mindful of the danger that lurked ahead. He knew that the wyvern was a formidable foe, known for its speed and agility in the air. He would have to rely on his wits and combat skills to succeed.

Hours passed as he explored the canyon, searching for any signs of the wyvern. The sun dipped lower in the sky, casting long shadows over the rugged terrain. Just as he was beginning to doubt his decision to undertake this quest alone, he heard it—the distant, echoing cry of the Razorclaw Wyvern.

Lun’s heart quickened with anticipation. He followed the sound, moving quietly through the rocky terrain. The wyvern’s cries grew louder, filling the canyon with an eerie, otherworldly resonance.

And then, he saw it. The Razorclaw Wyvern soared through the sky, its wingspan casting a formidable shadow. Its scales shimred with a tallic sheen, and its claws glead like blades. Lun’s breath caught as he watched the majestic yet deadly creature.

However, a sinking feeling settled in his chest. The wyvern was flying freely in the open sky, far above the range of his spells and lee abilities. His magic, even after reaching the D tier, could only reach around 250 tres away from him before it dissipated. It was a limitation he had always been aware of, but now it posed a significant problem.

Lun knew he couldn’t engage the wyvern in aerial combat. His only chance was to find a way to draw it closer to the ground, where he could confront it on more equal terms. He needed a plan, and fast, as the wyvern circled above, its sharp eyes scanning the canyon below for prey.

With determination burning in his eyes, Lun began to formulate a strategy. He would need all his wits, skills, and a healthy dose of courage to face the formidable Razorclaw Wyvern and erge victorious.

His best chance of success would be to wait the wyvern’s flight ti out and by the ti the sun sets and the huge creature cos back down to the ground to rest or eat it’s al, and strike it’s wings with a sudden attack, incapacitating it’s ability to fly.
