Chapter 471: Chapter 210 Transferring the Law to Extract the Moon_1

“Ancestor Spirit Seven Prohibitions Heaven Palace, Gansi Lianwanlu Heaven Palace?”

Marquis Zhennan’s mind was abuzz with thoughts as he tried to recall various ancient texts related to the Netherworld, attempting to find the origins of these two titles.

Yet even as he racked his brains, he could not recall any relevant information.

Within the Netherworld, the hierarchy of divinity was strict; even a lesser pantheon seat once incorporated into the Netherworld’s Divinity Path ranking and exposed to the outside world could be comparable to the Incense Offering Canonical Gods that were the River God and Mountain God.

Moreover, when the White Tiger and Vermilion Bird Envoys appeared, their presence commanded Spirit Transmutation Ghost Generals to kneel and worship, demonstrating that their revealed divinities were certainly not those of obscure, lesser gods. The underlying ssage this conveyed was enough to stir Marquis Zhennan’s emotions.

It’s important to note that both envoys were from the Yang World and closely linked to the entire Great Xia’s Imperial Court. If it were possible to leverage their status to establish a close connection with the Netherworld, this would be highly beneficial for all of Great Xia.

The only thing that puzzled Marquis Zhennan was that even though the White Tiger and Vermilion Bird Envoys held esteed positions within Great Xia and were regarded as the pinnacle among the younger generation, their significance seed sowhat diminished in the ancient Netherworld.

The Spirit Transmutation Peak Ghost Generals standing on either side of the city gate could effortlessly suppress both the Imperial Astronomical Bureau’s Esteed Emissaries.

In such a setting, how did the White Tiger and Vermilion Bird Envoys manage to obtain these Netherworld pantheon seats? What exactly happened during the tumult in the Netherworld earlier?

Marquis Zhennan was beset with complex thoughts that flashed through his mind and temporarily suppressed them as he stepped out of the Emperor’s Carriage and greeted the two envoys with a smile.

“After entering Fengdu City, the two envoys ceased contact, causing this marquis much concern.

Since the Netherworld’s troubles have been quelled, the two envoys must be credited with the primary accomplishnt. His Majesty has already decreed a proclamation to the entire Imperial Court to reward and formally recognize the two envoys.”

The White Tiger Envoy, now holding the pantheon seat of Mount Luofeng 6 Hell Deities, had shed his spirit treasure armor, donning elegant white robes that exuded a stately aura. With every move he made, the divine power from Netherworld incense offerings flowed through him with an extraordinary grace.

He nodded slightly towards Marquis Zhennan, who was smiling at him, and spoke with restrained politeness,

“Marquis Zhennan is too kind with his words. In the affairs of the Netherworld, Vermilion Bird and I have only made a modest contribution and dare not take full credit.”

Once, as a much-favored prodigy of Great Xia’s Imperial Court, even with his strength and status being among the top tier, he would humble himself before a powerful noble like Marquis Zhennan.

But having witnessed the true battles between the gods and encountered so of the rare powerhouses of the Primal Chaos Realm, the White Tiger Envoy’s world view had expanded significantly.

Further, as one of the six great supernatural beings presiding over the Netherworld, personally anointed by the Fengdu Emperor himself, his and Vermilion Bird Envoy’s position, though at the bottom, was still revered.

Such a status was even a few notches higher than that of Marquis Zhennan, and naturally, he no longer harbored the sa level of awe he once had.

Even in regard to the so-called decree from Emperor Xia, the White Tiger Envoy harbored so skepticism in his heart.

Though Emperor Xia was nominally the Mortal Emperor, since the Great Schism thousands of years ago, the Mortal Emperor’s authority had beco incomplete, and no dynasty since then had ever restored the peak prowess of the ancient Mortal Emperors.

Under these circumstances, how could Emperor Xia’s decree compare to that of the Fengdu Emperor’s appointnt to the pantheon seat of Mount Luofeng 6 Hell Deities?

Marquis Zhennan acutely sensed the change in the White Tiger Envoy’s attitude, and while his expression shifted imperceptibly, he continued with a smile,

“The White Tiger Envoy is too humble.”

Beside him, Vermilion Bird Envoy was clad in a figure-flattering dark red robe, her beautiful face occasionally marred by a slight frown as she glanced at the White Tiger Envoy with a hint of dissatisfaction.

She was well aware of the change in the White Tiger Envoy’s ntality, but given the difference in their status, she could not intervene.

Stepping forward, she stood in front of the White Tiger Envoy and bowed to Marquis Zhennan, speaking neither humbly nor haughtily,

“White Tiger and I represent the Netherworld and cannot offer proper respects in our capacity as envoys; I hope Marquis Zhennan understands.”

On hearing Vermilion Bird Envoy’s response, Marquis Zhennan’s face showed a genuine smile as a weight seed to lift from his heart.

He was not bothered by the White Tiger Envoy’s change in attitude, for as an experienced noble, he had the dignity to look beyond it.

What truly concerned him was the attitude towards Great Xia held by the two envoys now holding Netherworld pantheon seats.

A century ago, when Great Xia was in decline, many crossed the vast ocean to seek settlent in overseas nations.

These people, once settled overseas, would go out of their way to sever ties with Great Xia, launching scathing criticism and even developing intense hostility towards their forr holand.

Although the envoys were extraordinary and not to be judged by the standards of the petty, Marquis Zhennan had to be cautious about the future of all Great Xia.

Fortunately, the response from the Vermilion Bird Envoy had relieved him sowhat.

White Tiger did not linger on these subtleties but was slightly displeased that Vermilion Bird had interrupted him.

The atmosphere gradually relaxed, and Marquis Zhennan spoke,

“Great Xia has been quite concerned about the incident in the Netherworld. We would appreciate so insights from the Vermilion Bird Envoy.”

“I’m hardly in a place to offer insights,” Vermilion Bird Envoy said, shaking her head,

“This matter is not exactly a secret. Six Netherworld Commanders, led by the Day Wandering God, sought to further their ambitions, attempting to draw the 10th Hall Yama to invade the Primal Chaos Realm.

The Netherworld Commander Bull Head noticed the changes and summoned the Emperor’s Carriage to bring the Fengdu Emperor back to Fengdu City.

The Fengdu Emperor slaughtered the Commanders, suppressed Yama, and ultimately settled the upheaval in the Netherworld.”
