In the outside world, two more days passed and Scarlet still didn’t step out of her training room.
So mbers of the family started to worry because it was almost coming to an entire week and this was the longest she had ever spent locked away in there. Every hour or so, soone would pass by the training room and just hover around.
It was around lunch ti and Dorian had returned ho to have ho with his wife. Both of them ate simple sandwiches in front of the training room.
"How long do you think she will be locked up in there for?" she asked him.
Dorian shook his head for he had no idea. Scarlet was no longer predictable which was worriso.
"If she doesn’t co out soon Justin is going to start throwing temper tantrums. Gregor told that he refused to eat breakfast today because it was not prepared by his mother. He will be making five in two weeks, he should not be this attached to her anymore."
At so point, probably when he was eight years old, he would be sent off to the best academy in the empire, in the capital. That’s what Etienne had said and they were all on board with this plan.
Would he go if he was still clinging to his mother like a newborn child?
ga however did not agree and in this case she was on Justin’s side. The boy had only started receiving proper affection from his mother last year. It was only natural that he was clingy.
"That best academy should just open up a branch here on the Blue star. It’s a cha warrior academy and the best cha warrior lives right here on our star.
What happens if Justin doesn’t want to be a cha warrior? He could want to be a pilot, doctor, teacher or anything else. The Wu’s are wealthy enough and they are royal. Just because one male descendant doesn’t attend a cha warriors academy will not bring the end to their legacy.
Scarlet is young and she will have more children later on, one of them will surely be a cha warrior. Justin should be allowed to choose the path he wants. He struggles with chanics, we both know that if you flunk chanics you cannot make a good cha warrior because you will not understand how to pilot a cha."
Dorian looked up hesitantly and he sighed. No matter how many good points his wife made, so things were not easy to change.
"I don’t think the Wu’s will let it be." he told her.
ga sneered and she laughed. The Wu’s had not seen Scarlet the mama bear when she was protecting her cub. If Justin did not want to be a cha warrior, she would see to it that he did what made him happy.
To date, she was living in a perpetual state of attornnt to make up for everything that she had done wrong to Justin and what she had not done for him during the first four years of his life.
It is why Justin was attached to her, she spoiled and babied him.
"I really hope that she cos out of this room soon. Markay’s installnt as the crown prince has been scheduled for next month.
His and Carolyn’s official engagent announcent is next week and the engagent party held by the royal family will follow up in a few days. It will be a sha for her to miss her sister’s ceremony." ga added.
Both parents wondered what it was truly that Scarlet did in there when she was training. From the footage which was only available sotis, she did a lot of sitting to ditate and then she trained her body, fighting with all sorts of weapons against black phantoms.
ga wondered if she was preparing herself to join the cha fights again. What else could she be training for this much?
Dorian opened a bottle of milk and gave it to his wife. In a distance, they saw Fey and Carolyn coming over together. They were probably here to hover around as well.
Whether Scarlet would make it to the ceremonies her mother ntioned would depend on the results of the battle she was currently engaged in, a battle for glory against twelve other competitors for the biggest prize of the small world.
After waiting for what seed like years and more creatures showing up to Scarlet’s great unhappiness, the doors had finally opened a few minutes ago.
As soon as that first creak was heard, and the locks on the other end started making noise as if chains were being pulled apart, chaos erupted.
It started with everyone looking at each other suspiciously and then one of the life angels flew up hoping to enter before everyone else.
She was attacked by a flying harpy which screeched loudly like an eagle and then all hell broke loose. Everyone turned on their neighbor like rabid dogs in a fight for a single piece of at.
Everyone wanted to be the first to enter the room or whatever was behind the doors. They were stepping over each other, scratching, clawing, ripping and stabbing cruelly.
"Get on my back." Severus told her.
Teleportation was not working down here, in fact it had not worked since Scarlet set foot in this palace.
Scarlet was fighting an ugly three eyed monster which had fins, red eyes and weird humanoid body but webbed hands with claws.
She stabbed her scythe into it’s chest and hopped on Severus’s body.
Severus took off running, he and Flan shoving whatever they found in their way with their massive paws. Flan was breathing out fire in every direction as if she had an infinite fire pit in her stomach.
Suddenly she howled and Scarlet looked at her in a panic. She had slowed down and a trail of blood was quickly forming everywhere she passed.
She was limping as one of her legs had been chopped off.
Scarlet waved her hand and sent Flan into the soul gourd. She could recover from there.
As she was doing that, the female angel of life that had mocked her when she first arrived swooped down with a sword. With her position, it seed like she was aiming to slice Scarlet and Severus into two at the sa ti.
"Above you." a voice said in Scarlet’s mind.
She looked up and saw the angel of life who seed to have a grudge against her as she had sent her more than a few hate filled glares during the long wait for the door to open.
Scarlet could not fathom what possible personal hatred the angel had against her but she would not shy away from a fight from an opponent that intended to interfere with her goals.
"Not today bitch." She mumbled and she sorsaulted off Severus’s back with her scythe in one hand ready to rip through so wings.
