The young man noticed Gu Yang’s glance and flashed her a friendly smile, his canine teeth adding a touch of charm to his deanor. “Sorry about that,” he apologized with a sheepish grin, “my friend here is a bit of a scaredy-cat, especially when it cos to ghosts.”

Gu Yang found their behavior sowhat peculiar, but she shrugged it off and returned her focus to the movie.

As the film progressed, each eerie and supernatural scene prompted not only the white man behind them but also the rest of the audience to emit fearful screams. While Gu Yang herself remained unfazed by the plot, she couldn’t help but feel a twinge of apprehension each ti the white man’s terrified cries echoed through the theater.
