As Alya looked at her mother in confusion, I inwardly criticized myself for being distracted with Albert and not imdiately escaping.
Since we were all from the sa school, Liana must have assud we were all friends or knew each other, so she invited to lunch with them.
Of course, Liana couldn't be farther from the truth...
Pretending to ignore the gazes on , I simply leaned back in my chair and stared out the window with a blank expression.
What exactly was I going to say...?
Recalling that the leaders of the human race were particularly close with the Elven leaders back in the demon war, I considered using my forr last na... before quickly discarding it.
I would rather be found out as a transmigrator than use the wretched last na ever again.
As Alya and her mother seed to be coming to a conclusion about whatever they were arguing about, Alya approached with a sour look on her face while Liana watched from a distance.
Who would have thought I would be having lunch side-by-side with the sa person who completely ignored not even two months ago?
Albert seed done with his existential crisis as he reluctantly got up from the floor and sat on the chair next to the queens.
Monts later, the rest of the group regained their composure as they slowly made their way to the table... except for one person.
While everyone was staring at , Lily imdiately turned around and walked back into the hallway.
Then, within a few seconds, Lily reappeared before speed-walking past the rest of the group and imdiately taking the seat on my right while Alya, under the glare of her mother, took the seat on my left.
Sighing, I made eye contact with Liana, who responded with a gaze that seed to say, "You're Welco!"
...who's gonna tell her?
Trying my best to ignore Lily, who was staring at with her eyes practically sparking, I looked across the table where Ruby and Irene were sitting.
To their side were Liam and Kevin, and on my far right, or next to Lily, was Zach, who was also staring at ... with a much more positive expression than the others.
I'll take it, I guess...
As soon as everyone was seated, two elven servers, each wearing a suit, appeared before serving appetizers.
Thankfully, that seed to take most of the attention off as the servers used wind magic to carefully float each plate to us.
As my plate descended onto the napkin in front of , I tried to keep my expression intact as a bowl of ran, topped with a scrambled egg, appeared in front of .
Staring at the bowl with a rich orange broth, thin yellow noodles, a pure yellow scrambled egg, and a huge piece of chicken, I tried my best to look surprised while looking to the right out of the corner of my eye.
How could I not recognize a classic bowl of ran!?
But... how had it been replicated so perfectly...?
Looking at the others, I noticed that everyone besides was looking at the bowl of the ran like it was another everyday al.
Then, before anyone could take a bite, Liana's voice echoed through the massive dining room.
"Thank you once again for teaching us this delicious recipe, Lily! I must tell you, ever since you taught the chefs how to make it, the entire Elven kingdom has been gathering to get a taste!"
...what the...?
Carefully turning my head to Lily like everyone else, I saw Lily staring right at with a large smirk plastered on her face.
Was this a test?
Had she already concluded that I was also from Earth...?
Trying my best to eat as ssily as possible, I raised my spoon and tried to take a piece of chicken before purposely allowing it to fall off the spoon, leaving only the broth.
Tasting the delicious broth, I put on a forced smile and replied.
"Wow... I don't think I've ever had anything like this before. It's... out of this world!"
Watching Lily's expression transform as the last few words ca out of my mouth, I suppressed my inner laughter and picked up another spoon of broth.
...The ran was delicious, not because I was extrely hosick, but honestly, the mixture of flavors and ingredients was done perfectly.
For the first ti in a while, I was jealous of the main cast...
While I had been eating the shitty school cafeteria food, they had been enjoying this!?
What other Earth foods did Lily know had to make...?
Watching gulp down the bowl of ran, Lily put her hand on her elbow and replied.
"Is it?"
Nodding my head in between eating, I replied.
"It is! I never knew you knew how to cook."
Then, as the servers ca into the dining room again, I could barely contain my excitent as a small plate of kimchi descended right next to the ran.
Maybe... this al would be manageable.
As if attacking my statent, Lily finally asked the question everyone in the room was thinking.
"So... you know the Elven Queen as well?"
At those words, everyone's attention returned to as Alya stared at with an intrigued gaze.
How could an idiot like Ren know soone so formidable and powerful as the Elven Queen?
Of course, my reputation had been going upward ever since I stopped acting like Ren, but the previous damage to Ren's reputation would take years to make up...
Seeing Liana's gaze turn towards , allowing to co up with a story, I was thankful she kept her word and did not tell anyone about our experiences together.
Indeed, I had been contemplating how to answer this question ever since I first saw Albert, but nothing had co to mind.
It was like not studying for a test at all but expecting to get a good grade.
